  • Dimash hace posible reunir al mundo 🌍🌎 entero en una canción. Canta en China una canción en inglés, de un Autor afroamericano y mezcla sonidos y voces de medio oriente. Todos los colores, creencias y poderes económicos, representados en una hermosa canción, que tiene un mensaje vigente desde los 80' Que diga Te amo, en varios idiomas, es fenomenal.   • The older man in a white shirt, sitting in the back room is called Tengri. Dimash does a fantastic duet with him called Swan Goose. They perform it with a Mongolian throat singing group. It’s very unusual, with up beat and slow portions of the song. They both change languages during the song too. Some of Dimash’s collaborations are really fun. Drunken Concubine with Li Yugang, is a mash up with Diva Dance, Thanks for your reaction, You have such a soothing voice.

  • Apart from the changes of composition, Dimash is sooo good at bringing the meaning of every word - it's happens because of re- phrasing - he does it to all of of the songs he covers. Extraordinary!!!!

  • Hello! I read a post about this song that after Lionel Ritchie heard Dimash’s version of Hello, he had his attorneys restrain Dimash from ever singing it again. Dimash- our Prince of World Peace;) Lionel Ritchie should feel honored that Dimash wanted to sing Hello!

    • From what I've heard, Ritchie did give Dimash props for this performance but you still have to get permission to perform someone else's song in a show like this.

    • There is no evidence on the internet of this. LR asked his lawyers about Adele’s version but it was about the title of the song and they said he has no patent on the title of the song hello. There is nothing anywhere on Dimash and LR having a conflict on the song

Please can you do a jou do a reaction to the South Korean group, Forestella. They are not KPOP, but a classical cross over group, and like with Dimash, I have to date not heard one song by them I did not love.

  • yes; he did make it his own however; Lionel Ritchie pulled the plug on letting Dimash sing this Again so this is the only version we will ever hear from Dimash singing this song.

  • This was the year after he competed. He was an honored guest performer, not a contestant. I have this on recording and blast thru the whole house!! 😎 p.s. DQ refers to his voice "as my instrument", not my voice.

  • This was the bonus episode, so they weren't really competing, its a benefit show for charity. I think that year was for the environment. Dimash absolutely made that song his own. What you don't see here is Jessie J was backstage listening to him sing and was amazed.

  • I love this cover of Hello. I feel that Dimash portrays the feelings of vulnerability, isolation and longing so beautifully in this version. Even if I did not love Dimash so intensely, I would choose this cover of the original. I love all your reactions. Must admit I am a bit surprised by how high your subscriptions have risen in the short time since I discovered you on your first Dimash reaction. I am pretty sure they were about 62k then.   • Another great reaction. Dimash's rendition of Lionel Richie’s "Hello" was a guest performance on "I am a Singer 2018"; he was not competing that year. At the end of the second verse, Dimash sang "I love you" in Mandarin ("Wo ai ni") to the Chinese audience, and again in the third verse, adding "I love you" in Kazakh, before whispering "Thank you" in Mandarin at the end. Dimash beautifully incorporates Middle Eastern?Turkish runs in the song. His friend, Erlan Bekchurin, did the musical arrangement for this performance, as well as most of his other arrangements. The flute is called a sybyzgy, a traditional Kazakh flute, and precursor to the modern flutes. This is my favorite rendition of the song; even better than the original in my humble opinion.

  • @ JohnReavesLive...Just for fun go to the YT channel of Arab Man Reacts. He is from Lebannon and explains that middle Vocalise section so well! Also towards the end of this performance , the camera cuts to a guy wearing a tan jacket with a darker shirt . This is Jam , the lead singer for the Chinese band Lion and now a good friend of Dimash. Check out his expression and then remember he heard all 13 performances of Dimash from the 2017 I Am Singer. He and the Lion band placed third on The Singer in 2017. (. Dimash was a guest here in 2018) He is blown away by Dimash once again. 😁🤗 Thanks for an excellent reaction as always, John! 🤗💞💞💞

    • The Arab Man cut out the melismas from the video and only talks about them later on. I don’t understand why he did that (unless his reaction was too powerful to that and he didn’t want the world to see it).

    • @ Ellana Ts......I was so shocked and disappointed when I discovered The Arab Man had cut out the Melissa part!! 😢😢 I wrote him a note asking why but haven't heard back. Maybe it was because he said that Dimash had just totally blown away all the singers in his country, at something , the taleen, that is their thing. So sad!! 😔😔
