The whole struggle to get her into the household because she's a sage when she isn't a practical magic sage and needs to learn the useful spells in the Grindy way anyway and then somehow failing successfully for the main part of the episode makes me smile 😂

James makes each sim work for over 2 days each. “Why do they all have burn out?” 😂
To be fair: burn out can get so annoying. I have a painter sim. She loves painting. I constantly get the „burnout coming“ moodlet just from the activity that is supposedly super fun for her. She maxed the athletic and wellness skill not necessarily because I wanted her to but as a side effect of me preventing the burn out from setting in. There really should be other ways to get that moodlet go down besides sport. Maybe there is and I just didn’t notice yet?
@@gwennygrausamt I think you can just do the opposite of whatever you're doing. So if it's creative then do something logical. I think sporty things are a neutral thing though.
Maybe the servos “house” could be a sort of mechanical junk yard? With scrap and parts laying around

I would really love this, I get the humor in seeing him in a closet instead, but James is an amazing builder, and I love messed up industrial looking builds. Even I can make a closet in the Sims, I want to see what James can do!

I think the servo should have a lab for their room, with the stuff from Semaj’s job in it and the robotics station since that’s its bed and all. But Nalani should upgrade them so that they can upgrade themselves and help with any future alien babies. Edit: Also you should name the servo

I think it would be funnier if Semaj gives birth to an alien instead of inviting one to the household. The whole group would have to take care of the child together while trying to do their tasks, which adds a bit more challenge (especially if they all have to travel together) and could result in some interesting dynamics.
Definitely recommend you have some moonstone about for the occults ! It helps with vampiric thirst, werewolf rage, and spellcaster success etc - I have plumbite and moonstone in most rooms lol

This is one pack I actually haven't wanted to get because it's so ridiculously OP, lol, and I'm a crazed control-freak whose sims are always Stepford-happy and accomplished, which has nothing to do with compensating for real life I think I'll just show myself out

TIP: not sure if it’s common knowledhe at this point, but you can take the charging pad to the magic realm and charge them at any point. Not just at night. Love the series!

The quickest way to get cursed is to lose a magical duel. Lose 2 in a row, Bam, curse. And as they are so hard to win it's really quick.
I will say james, getting everyone to search for artifacts (after an excavation site is established) goes so quickly, you'll breeze through getting the required parts for the totem!

For your Servo's room. It should be a small windowless room with a ceiling light and a sliding door. Something like what the pilot episode of Futurama did.
Shouldn't the activities for the Semajers be like reading books, finding collectibles, making potions, robotics, gemology, archaeology, nectar-making, swimming, taking baths etc...? Not least because you're going to need to start earning points to unlock the member slots to get every final member of the household in the cult. And the cult... ahem... 'club' should probably be members only if you don't wanna keep dealing with regular folks trying to join, unless you like rejecting people in which case have fun.
Since Nalani is Servo's mami, his room could be close to hers but entering through Semaj's Home Lab in which she could have her own robotics section. So it could actually be a His and Hers Home Lab... 🤷♀

@Galinda33 TLDR first, the night wraith is Vlad's "creator" from ages ago (it is confirmed in lore spellcasters made vampires) As a short summary of the lore is that the Spellcasters made vampires because their duplication spell led to their dupes being vampires. So Vlad is a duplicate of a spellcaster and one of the first vampires ever- his vampire form and the night wraith look EXTREMELY similar. The night wraith is also a spellcaster who technically died from overcharge and became a curse. So yay family reunion! (ofc it's not official lore that the night wraith is Vlad's creator but it's highly supported)

DId you know you can sometimes rarely become a skeleton with the medium skill, while performing ghastly ritual? It happened to me yesterday and my two sims doing the ritual became skeletons in maid outfits (similiar to bonehilda)
You can also become a skeleton on the off-chance of being blessed while exploring jungles. Not with the relic, but while going through the gates

If you send any gem to the Geologly Council, they'll send you a little element block in the mail, if you put it somewhere and "enable emotional aura" it will constantly put your Sim in a focused mood.

Semaj not coming back pregnant from his alien abduction had me flashbacking to when my sim (not in the science career) got randomly abducted and gave birth to twins. When you want it to happen it doesn't but when you do, it's two. 😂
I had a sim who was a strong, independent, child-free, man-free woman and I got the marriage inheritance pop-up (didn't know the instant money option, lol), so I had to go out and find a man quickly and then that effer got abducted and had twins. Talk about a complete 180 with her lifestyle haha.
same thing happened to my sim within the first hour of the first time I ever played the sims4 😂 It took me years of watching videos like this to realise it wasn’t as common an occurrence as I thought

When I did the Not So Berry Challenge my sim was abducted 4 times and was pregnant every time. I was getting so mad.
This series is like Semaj's Occult Crystal and Potions Cult with all the forced potion and crystal using so he can get them to grind skills. 🤣

Between Snodgrass being haunted by the Night Wraith in broad daylight in the desert (and next to Nalani who’s too busy fishing to care), Vlad on skis, Servo nearly freezing to death and the alien squad rolling up, this episode was hilarious! Adding my vote for Tom Beck to move in next 👽
Alien abductions happen at between 10 pm and 4 am. It also can be switched in the MCCC settings.
For the ghost to join your household, if you go to a bar on Wednesday there is a chance it will be ghost night and you’ll be able to befriend them easily
Tom Beck as the new (oc)cult member, definitely! The green on purple will look great :P And Servo's home should be a gated area out back like a junk yard with upgrade parts, broken oven/fridge and various other scrap in there. There should be a truck with the workstation in as her "bedroom". Truck is obviously WALL-E inspired, but I think James can pull it off!

For Servo's room, do a recreation of Bender's Apartment from the first season of Futurama. A small room, use the bookcase door and a massive space with filled with useless Batuu items. LOL! And let Vlad pay for it. He can officially be Vlady Daddy!

You need moonstone stuff for the occults! It helps their powers and special needs.
Tip for robotics: You can "discharge" electrocute moodlet by using treadmill.
Gardening gets boost from focused, but Semaj was energized. I think even with the crystal, he still needs to be in the right mood.
servo room: She had pink ski so maybe she likes cozy cute kawaii things and her room looks that way? ... despite her being a machine it's super soft and fluffy; that could be fun and cute alien: tom beck is the queen and we all know it
Ideas for rooms: - a basement lab for the Servo - a "totally normal" room full of mismatched furniture and wacky colors for the Alien (+ alien plants and slugs!) Maybe this one can go next to the greenhouse! Extra suggestions: - Naming your servo - Get Tom Beck for the alien!

Patchy comes to life in the winter, he can be prevented from showing up by mccc if you have it set to not have reaper stalking/clown walkby (this happened to me)

i think for the servo, you're allowed to cheat the extra 20k everyone else will come with, and also i think you should merge semaj's laboratory with the servo's room! an underground secret lab with the robotics station and maybe some other tech-y things in the game (like the weird AR gaming station and the scientist furniture that came with get to work) would fit the servo and the scientist career very nicely!

I am loving this series! Ive learned so much about the occult that i never knew before!❤ I actually just started playing a Sim who is in the scientist career because I've never played that career. She's also doing the gemology and making jewelry. I think i might try the spellcaster thing. I don't play with them but they seem interesting. I normally just build but i have been inspired😅
I'd like to see the Servo's room look like it's just a sad little broom closet with a charging station, but the back wall is a secret door that leads to a ladder going down to an underground lair. You could do a traditional, evil scientist-esque lair where she could run experiments on captive neighbors. OR we could make her a little cuter and have her be really into art and music--a DJ station would be neat. Either way, I think she needs a pet hamster.
I have two plans for the Servo room. 1) It should be the same as Semaj's lab. One 2 x 2 corner of the lab that has the closet space for the Servo. Kinda like from The Jetsons or Futurama. 2) It can be a shed that looks completely rundown from the outside but is extremely techy and futuristic inside.
Mr. Beck has to be the alien to move in. I think him and Servo could share a similar space. like you could build a spaceship or something in the air, and in one of the quadrants could be a little robot servo room. i think it'd also be kinda funny to make the servo room like a kid's room, since she's basically just been born

Snowy Escape activities are so underrated!! I love making my sims take a vacation once in a while to sledge together as a family :} It's so adorable, especially when the night lights are so pretty!!
Another (and easier) way to become a plant sim is by making ice cream. One of them turns you into a plant sim.

They have to be in a happy mood when doing an activity to get the option to like it, so having Vlad being focused constantly will prevent the pop up.

Doing the Wellness skill helps a bunch with burnout! I always just have my Sims meditate it away. Also, I like the idea of the Servo having a Batuu junk yard themed room and I vote adding in Tom Beck😊
