Logitech’s G Pro might just be the most popular gaming mouse ever made.
Everyone knows that it’s a high-quality head-clicker, used by some of the biggest names in esports - and it’s been that way since the day it came out. Unfortunately there’s always been one glaring issue with the G Pro and now the Superlight -- the price.
But when it comes to price-to-performance ratios, there aren’t many companies that can beat Pulsar.
The X2 and X2 Mini are some of the best mice on the market right now - and they’re cheaper than almost anything of similar quality. Many people even consider the X2 good enough to rival the G Pro and the Superlight.
But is the X2 actually better?

Pulsar X2's are great, but they've had fairly major struggles with quality, many units have had issues with click quality and double clicking. Superlight is also almost always available for around $100 here in Europe. I'd guess it's the same in the US, probably only found with the MSRP from Logitech directly.
True, only LAMZU, Logitech and Razer are available in india without customs duty. I hope the pulsar and endgame gear will soon come to india. Right now I have a pulsar X2 bruce lee edition, I love the shape but the price is high due to customs (almost the same price as the deathadder v3 pro) if LAMZU had optical switch I could have brought that

I was waiting for endgame xm2w for more than 6 months but my previous is broken badly so I had to buy a new mouse so I went with pulsar and I am happy with the choice
This 100%, I completely dropped Pulsar products because each one would come with horrible QC and they tried to act like nothing was wrong with the limited edition X2 I got that had wobbly buttons. Trash company.
I appreciate the gpx because it was the OG light mouse that made light wireless mice main steam. But the popularity ushered in a wave of competitors and have some amazing mice coming out.
it really depends on your grip style, the balancing on the g pro makes it feel so much lighter than 62g, and it is a bigger and safer shape. I personally have a weight modded x2, that wieghts in at around 49g, and it is a close tie between that and the lamzu atlantis for me.
tbh the attention to detail, the quality, and the specs of these mice are insane for the price.
What I really want is a viper mini wireless without holes but I'm tempted to get the lamzu mini. The gpro was way too big for me.

Been using the X2 for a while, and can definitely say that this is a top tier mouse when it comes to shape and weight. The only thing that REALLY bothered me were the switches. Compared to any other mouse I´ve used before, they feel insanely heavy and hard to click (and I´ve really tested many). Couldn´t even really spam click on it. Ended up replacing the switches and replacing them with optical ones. Perfect mouse now, really hope that the new versions they announced at CES already have optical switches built in ^^ EDIT: Got my mice mixed up xD not optical switches but softer ones. Cant go from mechanical to optical sadly. TTC gold as p man said. Really soft clicks, similar to a burst pro imo

I have personally used a G502 for 4 years, moved onto G PRO X Superlight for half a year, and then bought a Lamzu Atlantis which I definitely prefer over the GPX despite not being a claw gripper.
I just got my pulsar x2 mini bruce lee edition and I absolutely love it. I have smaller hands and aiming with it feels great and my previous mouse was the viper ultimate. The coating as well on the bruce lee edition is amazing (different coating than other models).

A well-researched video about one of the top gaming mice, good job theScore! Can u also make a video about the Ninjutso Sora, Lamzu Atlantis/Atlantis Mini? Many people need to know those brands and u have the perfect platform to reach people who are unaware of these brands. Hopefully, if their sales go up, they can innovate more. They deserve the same adoration as Pulsar for what they're doing for the gaming mice community.
They failed to address the poor quality control of Pulsar on the X2 series though. Very important to note.
@@CEngi U nailed it, but overall this is a step towards introducing the mainstream audience to these smaller mice brands. Unlike us who browse through r/MouseReview every day. Imo Pulsar is like the second coming of Glorious when it comes to qc issues lmao. I just hope they make the Bruce Lee edition with the opticals the standard edition of the X2 with minimal to none qc issues.
Ninjutso Sora is known for major sensor issues. Like the X2 is known for really bad qc. If a mouse is that cheap there will always be issues somewhere. Mostly it will be the mcu or sensor implementation. Zowies implementation of the 3370 is way better than most 3395 mice.

Recently got the X2 Mini, all i can say is this Mouse is what I've been looking for a long time, Plus the Superglide of Pulsar is just another reason why you would want it.

@@Demon09-_- mine got scrollwheel issues after like 5 months of hard use, they paid for the fastest shipping possible for me to send them the mice for them to fix everything, i went from Brasil to Korea and back in two weeks and that is nuts for me
To anyone looking for more info on this mouse. The new batches will use their optical switch to eradicate the known double clicking issues this mouse has. On top of that the coating will be updated as well to match the feeling of their Bruce Lee edition.

@@evilkamatis542 yes very badly. The new versions only have been announced for some time in 2023. Models are xlite v3, X2-H,X2-A and their new Es model. The standard x2 that's out other then the Bruce Lee special edition and the upcoming boardzy will still have double clicking issues.
@@Demon09-_- well im glad i held on my superlight. I was about to get the x2 mini but since there will be an updated version with a better coating, might as well wait for that. Never tried optical switches tho so not sure about the feel of that one. I really like the light click feels of the switches used in superlight. I also have another mouse that use HUano 80m but it feels heavy in click.
One of the reasons the sensitivity between different mice feels off is because of DPI deviation. The X2 and G Pro essentially have the same true DPI but other mice can vary wildly. F.e. the TenZ mouse has a 5% faster sensitivity when set to 800dpi because its' actual DPI is more like 830dpi.
absolutely true. the x2 skate basically require a control pad and some break in time so that it becomes grippy but after that, it's insanely GOOD. No need to waste money on 150+ mice.

For extra small hands xlite 2 mini has been so good. Like my hand never cramps or hurts doesnt matter how long i play. Also the shape is universally good imo. I have different grip for some games and it still fits to my hand so well. Also if i remember right this mouse was like 90e delivered. I recommend.
I used both of these mice they are two very different kinds. I used to main the X2 for 2 months, while the GPXSL is my current daily driver. The X2 is better on paper specs and for me, the shape was slightly better and more comfortable for me (claw grip). The one thing that the GPXSL is miles ahead of the X2 is THE BATTERY LIFE. I don't know if it's just my unit, but my X2 lasts just under a week, and the GPXSL lasts more than that. If Pulsar just had better QC the X2 would be far better than the GPXSL.
i know i have not charged my superlight in a month but maybe thats because i play apex legends on controller and i dont play many other games so maybe thats why because my super light doesnt get used so much
I'm a long time CS player(GE) and Valorant player(D3) and I actually bought g903 instead of G pro, purely because amazon has some mad deals on logitech stuff all the time. The G903 was 60euro and the G Pro Keyboard was 80. Given the qc issues pulsar has had, I'd say it's too early to jump ship, but they are on the right track.
I find micro adjusting a little difficult with the x2 mini. If they could just curve in the sides, and lower the hump a millimeter, it would be perfect.
The x2 has a way better shape than the superlight, it feels more specialized towards claw and fingertip grip which is why I like it far better

I have both of them and I like my x2 mini more mainly because it’s a perfect fit for my small hands. I use the super light at my job now but the x2 mini is perfect for me

Honestly, I much prefer a bit heavier mice and so I am very content with my Basilisk V3 Pro - especially since I got it in Christmas sale for 40 bucks.
X2 first batch actually have that QC issue but the rest should be good, it is good for fingertips user. If you are a claw grip person then go for Lamzu Atlantis. I was using G Pro X, now using Lamzu Atlantis all I can say is Lamzu fits my hand better than GPX also it is much lighter. The only issue I have is the left and right click sometimes feels weird because my finger are a bit too long for the mouse so I click on the front end often, sometimes it feels like stuck but it bounce back. Was looking at Pulsar X2 but I know it will be too low for my grip style.
I have both the Pulsar x2 mini Rotobox edition and the Logitech G Pro X Superlight(Red). I have a medium size hand and so far and I would like to share my experience for you guys who are planning to buy the x2 mini. As an FPS gamer with a medium size hand the problem with x2 mini is "MINI" and my lower palm drags so much on the mousepad that it's making me shakey, my type of grip could be the factor to this since I like my hand fully resting on the mouse with a little pressure on the mouse for more control but with the x2 mini I can barely feel the pressure on my palm giving my less control. There is a reason why more than 50% of FPS pro gamers are using Logitech G Pro because it is in my opinion overall better grip for most people. So here's the list of mouse that I have: Logitech G Pro x Superlight, Logitech G Pro, Finalmouse TenZ edition, HyperX Pulsefire Haste Wireless, Steelseries Aerox 3, Pulsar X2 Mini(Rotobox2), Glorious Model O and out of those In my opinion Finalmouse TenZ has the best grip for me (but I don't use it cause it has scroll wheel issue but overall Logitech GPX is still better.
The X2 already comes in two sizes, and Pulsar is about to release updated versions of it. Including one with a higher rear hump. So yeah, pulsar wins even though their QC still needs work.
I've bought Pulsar mice for about a year now, they are simply fantastic!
well on german amazon the superlight is constantly on sale for 100 Euros so if you live in a country within the eu you can order without any shipping fees
When choosing a mouse to main, the one thing that should always be on the top of your mind is the shape. Shape trumps everything else.
I have been using the Logitech G5 Laser Gaming Mouse for years but now I'm using the Logitech G400s and I like it.

idk, i have used ambidextrous mice since 2014 and have loved that style...as a resulkt it worries me whenever i try out the demos at best buy of right handed mice...makes me wonder if my hand would like it or not.
Ive owned 3 logitech mice in my life, got the first when i was 13. A g502 proteus core, first 502 on the scene. Then went for 502 lightspeed not because something broke, but it lasted so long that there was so much gunk on the mouse i felt disgusted. The lightspeed worked amazing. But i wanted a light mouse. Now im using a superlight and i have no doubts it'll grow to be my grossest head clicker. Im 25 now.

Pulsar has been awesome since ive started using them (april/may 2022) but my xlite v2 mini copy has double click issues.

X2 Bruce lee Edition is just wildly amazing. The clicks are amazing. Shape is amazing (for claw/palmgrip) X2 mini is absolutely amazing for Fingertip grip. I have 19/10cm hands and after spending more time with the mice i find that small mice aren’t consistent for my aim. I have perfect aim in one game then the next one is rubbish. With the little bit of support in my back i always aim very well. I aim better with small mice (x2mini/tenz pro/viper mini) sometimes. So i usually use a little bigger now. Love RJN 3/1 rule.

I love my Logitech gpro superlight. I will never use another mouse. It has made my aim so much better in Rainbow six.

Bought the X2 Medium and GPX at the same time. The GPX is superior in every single way except for weight which is not a major factor when you are talking a few gram difference. The major distinction between the 2 mice is the shape of the rear hump. The real reason why GPX works for so many people is because the rear of the mouse is narrow and allows it to fit into the palm of your hand much better than any other mouse. Your palm fits AROUND the mouse -- not on top of it. It gives additional squeeze pressure and leverage that hardly any other mouse allows you to generate. Oh yeah and the clicks and sensor are better.

In Germany on Amazon the Pulsar is 125€ the Logitech G pro superlight is 109€. Got mine used in mint condition for 70. Spent 20€ on switches, encoder and corepad skates air. Best mouse I ever used.
I prefer mice with side buttons on both, left and right side.. also my current mouse offers software with which I can assing multiple functions to all of the buttons.. so sadly, not an option for me
really liking my deathadder v3 pro with 4k dongle, just expensive.
Switched from the gproxsl to the x2 medium and didnt regret it.

Unfortunately none of these cheaper alternatives will ever come close to Logitech/Razer's wireless implementation. For example the Pulsar X2 and related mice that use the same chip have 2-4ms of click latency. I believe this will be fixed in the future but atm, the best wireless tech is with these two companies. This is why I am modding my Starlight-12 to use Razer's 4K wireless tech. Nothing beats 4K polling rate, wireless, and almost 0ms click latency.
pulsar's said to release a 4k wireless version of X2 in 2023 though
@@galjaprat The issue isn't that it doesn't have 4K, it's the click latency.
@@JtwasLuck 4K mice will typically have lower click latency because of the change in MCU which Pulsar is doing.
@@paul2609 Paul is right, the compx mcu they use for the x2 currently can't do 4k and is the source of the click latency and idle delay latency issues. If they use a solid nordic encoder to implement their 4k tech it should be similar if not on par with razers implementation. Fingers crossed.

Does anyone make a Wireless 7 Button Mouse like the original G Pro wireless?
I've been using the G502 since it's launch, and previous Logitech mice of the same shape since about 2005. If they'd take the internals of this mouse and change the shape, I'd buy it instantly.
Ngl bro I've never seen someone whos kept buying the same mouse over and over for literally 8 years... Not to mention the internals rlly suck and aren't built to last + it's outdated, releasing a new mouse with those internals would only damage logitechs already tarnished reputation
@@yhiz4757 I like the shape and it's been insanely reliable for me. I haven't been buying the same mouse "over and over", I've owned 2 g502's, and both still work 100% of the time to this day. I have tried other mice, and time and time again I regret my purchase and move back to the logitechs. My love for this mouse shape started way back with the MX510.
Pulsar also has a slight click latency problem the logitech doesnt have, as well if you leave the mouse idol for more than 5 seconds the latency is multiplied even worse. Just be aware of that dont hold angles for more than 5 sec and make sure you have good ping
If only Pulsar X2 didn't have that high click latency... I am looking forward for them to use a newer model switch
There are so many other alternatives to the Pulsar X2 for the same, lower or higher price and same or better performance and all of them have better QC than the X2 has had. X2 is not cheaper than almost anything in its class because only Razer, Logitech (which doesn't count anymore, because its price is pretty much always 100 bucks or lower everywhere except the G-Pro homepage and it is already 2 years old) and now Zowie expect you to pay more than 120 bucks for a modern gaming mouse. Pretty much every other manufacturer has a lower price tag for similar quality and similar performing mice.

imo: pulsar x2 is good, but there are better options, like the lamzu atlantis, xm2we, and razer's upcoming wireless viper mini

logitech have new switches for the buttons so it will basicly never doubleclick i have mine for almost 3 years and never experienced double click and i had previous logitech mice that started doubleclick after around 1 year also the battery is rock solid from day1
Okay just ordered both the x2 and x2 mini. Got excuse to try a new mouse after years of using my Logitech G304.
if you get qc gems, theyre absolutely better than the superlight, had to return mine 2 times because of bad qc, battery dies insanely fast, & scroll wheel shit itself on the 2nd one. Just not worth the qc risk imo. Currently back to using my superlight until my lamzu atlantis gets here.
i think you should either get the bruce lee edition (limited) since there is no double clicking or wait for their es edition to come out as it has 4k polling rate and has no double clicking since that the main issue with pulsar mice

The problem with this mouses, still use 1000 hz polling rate, at least must have 4000 hz for 240 hz or more monitors.

My pulsar only lasted 2 months which is the fastest a mouse has ever died in my 30 years of pc gaming experience; disappointing considering it took two months to get it in the first place. My MM2.0 is 30 years old and still works, My IntelliMouseOptical is 27 years old and it still works. I have an original Karna boomslang 1998, still works. The first ugly blue Zowie mouse that I bought in 2009 still works perfect.
from experience the x2 mini is not the move idk if i have big hands or what i somehow fat finger the side buttons all the time, but its a great shape and i will be getting the x2 medium, right now though just using my superlight again which still feels really nice.
The x2 edges are way to sharp for me, I tried to scroll wheel with my middle finger and it fried my ring finger

The X2 quite simply is just a better mouse than the g pro superlight. They aren't far off but I don't get why it's such a shocker that a new cheaper mouse has come out 3 years after the gpx. Not to mention the Lamzu atlantis which had a way better launch and has had a way better reception, darmoshark m3, Zaopin Z1 pro, phylina s450 and dragonfly vgn f1 pro.
