1:56- I will never understand why people are surprised by a tree falling in the direction they notched and wedged it.
the tree actually didn't fall in the direction that they notched it. they did not leave enough holding wood, so when they pounded in their wedge the tree was able to spin 90 degrees and crash on the fence.
If you look at where they cut. It was cut all away around. Pretty much hoping it will fall in a certain direction.
@Coolpopcorn19 - ok. You could argue that point. After the tree fell, you could see they cut it almost completely through with a horizontal cut in addition to the notch cut and the cut they put the wedge in . My point was that they were forcing the tree to fall in whatever direction it was leaning or had the most branches. Which was the side the fence was on. The horizontal cut is going to allow the tree to spin on the cut. So, it fell in the direction they notched it and wedged it.

It's pretty cute that they believed they could push a 3000 kg treetrunk in a direction with two hands though. Aside from the fact that it's a fail-by-default system and they're dead if the trunk snaps off. I always did it with a pulley and a minimum of two people. Twice the force they can generate normally and they're way out of the way where the tree can snap or fall.

Gas prices pain is real in that clip
Back in 2006 I bought my older brother's friends gas for their cars and filled them to the brim and they then owed me a debt they could not repay. So I ended up getting free tickets to movie theaters because about 20 of my brothers friends worked at movie theaters so I got to see Batman The Dark Knight over 300 times in theaters and over 1000 other movies and free food and other stuff because I created a debt they could not repay. Sure it costed me $200 but it was worth it. So if you have a friend or older family member pay money for gas for them and create a debt they can not repay and you will gain slaves as well. I was busy that summer basically living in movie theaters.
