More than twice. Covid-19 is related to the common cold and as such it is a fast mutating virus so it's best to think of it like getting a flu or cold. It's an every season kind of deal. (I tried to go into detail here, but KZhead automatically censors science apparently) Personally, I wear masks anytime I step outside no matter what. I also keep a healthy stock of oregano oil and apple cider vinegar with the mother to keep symptoms down when I get sick.

When you download the Exfathax.img File, does it show up as a .DMG file instead when its on your computer? mine shows up as that and I want to know if i should manually rename it or just mount it in balena etcher as is?
Awesome video thank you! I would recommend disabling automatic updates as soon as possible instead of after setting the dns settings. Just as an extra safety measure since the ps4 can sneakily grab the latest firmware update at random times.

@@habib08m temporary. The PS4 defaults to sleep rather than full power off so it does stay active until it is ever fully powered off. Super easy to start back up once you have everything set up.
@@SoulEsne Unfortunately I don't have stable electricity it may go down while playing so the console turns off. Does running the exploit require internet connection everytime? One more thing my current version is 7.02 is the exploit for this version also need to run everytime you turn off?
@@habib08mdepends on the website you're using to get the exploit active, there are a lot of websites, I use one that let's you save the cache in your browser so you can activate the exploit without internet access

Thanks for the easy and simple video. For some reason, the user guide wouldn't load the exploit page on my side, I had to enter the URL manually. Also I had to try 3-4 times for the PS4 to "crash" it would just give the spinning circle indefinitely. But now it's all good :)

if you still have an old early gen flashdrive then this is the perfect use for it, most of those are thin enough to fit into the front ports on a base ps4 and the file needed for it is only a few mb but makes the drive unusable for any other purpose

3:14 the object in the desk is a nintendo switch mod kit, like u have the thingy to put in the right joycon space and u can re-jailbreak it everytime u want without the need of a computer. OBS: im not sure if thats it
It's a RCM loader, Used to inject payloads into the switch for homebrew mostly.
Remember you need the USB everytime you want to run the jailbreak so make sure it's one your not bothered about using just for that.good tut btw 😉

So what should I do in terms of wiping my profile from PS4 before jailbreak. Is it gonna be safe if my profiles are still on there even though I don’t physically sign into psn itself? Or should I just restore defaults before doing it and wipe all my legitimate stuff off it to be safe? It should still keep the same firmware yea? I mostly use PS5 now, but still got this PS4 kickin around that’s on 9.0, just wanna check out some emulation and hacks on it 😎 haven’t used it yet since hearing about this JB
If got a newer version you can theoretically wipe the ps4 hdd and reinstall OS with an older version. There are a lot of tutorials out there so no need to worry.

*Fix for when the pop up doesn't appear when prompted to insert USB stick* - you need to convert the USB stick to MBR first and then use Win32 Disk Imager or Rufus to write the USB stick. This seemed to work for me after using a couple of different USB sticks.

@@serenity808x in Windows, plug in the USB stick, go into Computer Management -> Storage. There will be a list of all the disks. If you right-click on the USB stick there should be an option to convert it to MBR. Let me know how you go.

If you have firmware 9.0 already go to 6:30 in video to start jailbreak process, Dammit Jeff chapter time jumps to far ahead, there's a few steps for setting up the internet connection you have to do before his chapter time. NB After setting up the internet connection as shown my connection to the 'User Guide' didn't work so I choose 'Test Internet Connection' and when it tested successfully then the 'User Guide' as noted loaded.
I feel like a complete idiot updating it to 9.03, if I knew how easy it was to jailbreak and if I knew it was only possible on 9.00 I would NEVER have updated..

It was a great video i really liked how simple u made it look if it was other KZheadr it would make it look so complicated but i have a small question tho how can i download the old ps games on it?
Question : For those of us who have yet to migrate to a PS5 would it at all be possible to transfer to that new system while on 9.00? We haven't really played PlayStation games in several months so both of our consoles are able to be on 9.00, but the system transfer process requires you to be online. Obviously once you jailbreak a console you will never want to take it online again because it will just get banned, which won't be a problem if we get a PS5 to go online with. Also, can games be backed up as image files? I had a PS3 that was jailbroken years ago and after it died from heat issues the only game that I really got to keep were the ones that had an image file. All the packets file games were lost. That made be prefer images going forward, but so many scenes prefer installation files that aren't as easy to work with and I'd rather made my backups as something that I can just run without installing anything. Is that possible on the PS4 at all? And of course can a modded PS4 play the games installed from PSN Plus without going online, since I won't be able to? And are there emulators for running my old PSX and PS2 games?

for old psx you could use retroarch its pain in the ars to set up but worth it if done ps2 game u need make it with some programs to make it as pkg file u can check dammit jeff old video for do that and the Compatibility are hit and miss check google for your game want to play before make a pkg file
@@tehonlynoobs5556 PKG files are what I hate most about the PS3 and what I hate about the modern Switch modding scene. Everyone wants things to install in a limited space rather than image files to mount which are easier to keep track of. I ended up buying a PS2 to play PS2 and PS1 games on, because I figured that it was safer to keep them separate from the PS3 to minimize on problems, but I've been having trouble with Popstarter and OPL and PS2 modding forums are beyond horrible! I've tried repeatedly to report a bug for the past week and just got contradictory instructions from moderators meaning it's impossible to actually get help so I'll probably have to get a modded PS1 as well. I wish there was such a thing as a device that uses native hardware to perfectly emulate all machines to actually play the games with or without a disc because even in 2022 compatability for PS1 games is spotty and the old hardware will eventually die.
@@ihelpyouwitheverything4720 We already own two. If I was going to buy a 3rd and 4th I'd buy a PS5 and use these for modding. But again, there's the issue of moving to a new console without updating.
It's too bad I never got mine to update to 9.00. My PS4 launch model's power supply died sometime early august last year. I was able to buy a power supply in december sale unfortunately I think by that time 9.03 was out and no choice to go with that firmware.

Well you could just spend a little and upgrade it to an ssd rather than buying fan ... it is already tested that a ps4 pro with ssd is just 10 to 30 second behind ps4 loading time depending on the type of ssd you using ...so get yourself an ssd and enjoy a better performance ps4 pro

SUPER IMPORTANT: BEFORE you start the jailbreak process, TURN OFF AUTOMATIC DOWNLOADS in the System menu!! I was setting up the DNS per the video and the PS4 had already started downloading the firmware update between the screen where I entered the wifi password and the DNS screen! Probably using previous settings.. caught it on time, it was almost 90% done downloading and about to install 😰😰😰!!
addition: Run the Disable Updates payload if you have it on your host of choice. It creates dummy files that allows to idk somehow "cancels" the update when it is being installed. Also, GoldHEN already has iirc.

I've already jailbroken my ps4 and it's been working great. Though it's *extremely* important to take out the usb after jailbreaking because leaving it in while turning the ps4 on/off can mess up the kernel needing you to wipe everything on it and reinstalling 9.00. Edit: I am wrong.
This has happened to me and it was not very fun. Don't kmow where you got the information that you can leave it in while restarting or whatever
