  • Nothing can replace life experiences. Cal Taylor, Randy Anderson, Les Johnson, Chris Robinson are master technicians in the field. Thank you James for getting quality guests like these men on your podcasts and getting them to pass on valuable information. It’s great to just let the camera roll and let them talk.

  • Congratulations on another in a long series of EPIC and informative podcasts. If there are those who want to learn an awful lot of about the intricacies of coyote hunting and the tactics that will make you more successful, listening to the Oneillops podcasts featuring Cal Taylor, Randy Anderson and Les Johnson would fill a bookshelf with that knowledge. You have provided the predator hunting community with the opportunity to learn in a few hours what these three gentlemen have experienced during years and years of actual time in the field. Well done!

  • All I can say about the griz hunt is to cut the weight on your rifle to the bare minimum and gear weight too! Everything about hunting in AK is so different! I hunted on the Yukon west-southwest of Tanana for moose and it was unlike any place that I had ever been. Didn't get one but wow! Boating in and spending the week on the Yukon was my experience of a lifetime!!!! And hunting on the coast of AK....places I have seen and been, you step out on the shoreline and it's climbing a 3 to 4 thousand foot mountain right in front of you! Good luck to you Cal!

  • Love the long interviews. There is so many more gems when you start talking philosophy, concepts and tactics. You have to get past the initial outline and talking points before the real gems are found in your interviews. Your guests are so full of knowledge. I would like to say I’m jealous of the opportunities you get company’s to use their gear but, I realized I have the same opportunity because you share your experience for free. Now my mindset is, I have the better gig because I can listen for 2 hours and learn what took you months on trial to learn. I love it! Keep up the good work and f**k the negative Nancy’s.

    • This is true!!! BUT we are possibly coming out with a "no holds barred" non KZhead friendly course, that will cost money, not because I am greedy, BUT because it will help us get more, better content out there for you while supporting us financially to do so... I will 100000% keep the content coming, but for those who want it all, everything, it may happen.

  • "They will pull your pants down and make fun of you". Really. I'm barely even a begginer coyote hunter. I got a bad dog here that has made a career out of lambasting me. He'll come to the bottom of my driveway where my dog marks a lot and challenge bark at us in full day light. He'll sit out from my pig hunting stand at night 300 yards behind a bush he knows I can't shoot through and challenge bark for five minutes ... then disappear through the brush. Sucker has my number. It's a love hate relationship at this point.
