    • As someone who wears costume makeup, I can assure you that at the very, very least, Mehron setting spray is real. It will set your face so good you won't have to worry about anti-aging products.

  • It's so interesting that Trixie's look always remind me a bit of kabuki theaters, geishas and Chinese opera. The same feeling of creating a whole new character on your face and exaggerating/highlighting certain features. No, not only her, but all drag queens, it's just with Trixie I reeeeeally feel it.

    • it helps to do a double cleanse when taking off your makeup. That is usually what I do. Start with an oil cleanse to help remove makeup, then any water based cleanser to make sure everything is off. Finish with toner and the rest of your beauty routine. I also sometime do this when I notice my face getting really oily.
