  • Ankle pick is the ultimate finesse move. So simple, takes little strength, but a setup and timing. Incredible. (And you feel like such a doofus when one is hit on you).

    • YT Newton totally agree, my son had one takedown move and went undefeated in his senior year sometimes it pays to be great at one thing...like an ankle pick, Cael’s were just so sick.

  • Check out Steve Mocco and footsweeps if you admire this. Moves like this and footsweeps take insanely good timing. Judo used to allow ankle picks too. That's why, with footsweeps too, it was good to supplement folkstyle with Judo. It's different now though. There was a guy I used t o wrestle with who had a crazy ankle pick. I would be going for a ride wondering, "what the fuck is going on". It wasn't until a few days later I learned what he was doing. I literally didn't know what the hell he was doing.

Something harder would be for the Brands who were like bulldozing figures, but this music fits Cael’s poised style. I thought it sucked too until I came back and watch multiple times.
