The sad part is that the tree had smarter people around it when it was young but as the many years have passed the people have gotten, well let’s just say not very smart. Such a shame. @@johnkirk5619I would have to agree with you, although it did come down good and didn't look like anyone got hurt, I definitely would have made my back cut about 4" higher than the bottom of the notch to help prevent kickback, and I believe I would have cut higher up so I could comfortably stand and stay on my feet instead of kneeling to make my cuts.
