That’s not all you can do with this. If you use the spell “soul sucker” On a friend who has glitched their character with this, you’ll return their character back to normal, but in doing so you’ll gain literally billions of souls. You may very well have enough to max out every single stat after you do that once.

This the most loyal remake I’ve ever seen. It even included new glitches to really capture the magic of the original.
The PvP clips are gonna be glorious.
They got rid of the item dupe glitch and replaced it with this.
In a lot of aspects it literally is the same game. Same underlying code. They remade the assets but the underlying game is the same, that's how Bluepoint tends to do things.

Bluepoint got it easy, not a ton of people got a PS5 so by the time they did this game would get patched easily. Still won't be fun to invade or be invaded by someone with luck in 6 digits, which also ramps up their resistance and defense to crazy levels since they immediately hit soul level 999. Then again, you won't have any chance of matching up with them because their stats are so broken.

Popping the gold coin before talking to the maiden glitches out your luck stat and gives you 80,000 luck when the max should be 99. The weapon he used scaled with luck so he was doing tens of thousands of damage per hit.

Not sure if Bethesda's done beating content out of the Creation Engine yet, so expect highly detailed playdoh people at best.
They're reportedly still using the same old damn engine. But there is hope they might finally actually give it a proper upgrade. After all Nintendo kept using the OOT engine all the way to Breath of the Wild, so there is hope Bethesda can make it better than previous versions if they truly put the work in. I think it would be the first major rework since Fallout 3 or so, and it's definitely needed.

Ok so afaik this has been patched but there's a way to still use it but you need a disc version console and a disc game. I have finished the game and got a platinum trophy already so here's what I did. 1. Disconnect the console from the internet. 2. Delete the game. 3. Install the game from the disc and do your gold coin glitch
Ok so after pumping my luck to about 11k I updated the game to check if my glitched character would be loaded, unfortunaly my luck dropped to 40 but I still gained about 30 levels to a fairly useless stat. I guess that's still fine to use for this weapon though and to get better drops.
Who would win: An entire team of developers or a gold coin?

I'm seeing a lot of comments about it breaking PVP. The thing is it looks like it basically gives you free level ups, so if you're level 999 you're not likely to be playing with other people, unless they specifically allow you via password. You could be a bro and give free rare drops to anyone that asks though.

If soulsuck only loses 1 luck and delevels you by 1 level you could get a friend to delevel you, or get allant/Mephistopheles to delevel you but it would be easier with a friend keep using soulsuck on you

@@joshuakim5240 yeah, very boring, but so is grieving with a 1hko level 1 build lol. On ps3 I used to use a legit northern regalia hyper mode build that 1hko, but I could die easily from low hp for hypermode, but it got boring fast

I know it may sound redundant but I always appreciated a good minute long loading screen, it gave me time do things while playing. It made it so I was waiting till the next loading screen so I could clean up or do something as well as play

I think Noone on earth enjoys this game as much as ymfah and i love him for that.
Some notes: 1) This still works as of 11/29/2020. 2) You do NOT need to be able to effectively wield the Blueblood Sword for this. I don’t have 18 STR or DEX but this works just fine for me. 3) I killed around 75 of the fat guys before 1 gold coin dropped. It exists, but the drop rate on it is abysmal. 4) Doing the glitch just one time gave me power enough to 3 shot the Penetrator. If you want to be able to 1 shot everything you’ll need to do this several times. Gold coins drop 100% of the time after doing it once though so that’s not a problem. 5) Once you do this you can never manually level up again so make sure your health, stamina, etc are all where you want them before doing this.
Can we get an update if it works in 2022?

ymfah: The Demon of Luck HP:2000 A relatively Weak and rather simple boss you’ll find within the secret compartment behind the new door in the 1st archstone. It will be a very long and deep downward staircase that opens up to a large room full of bodies, These are only for show however and do not give you a status effect. Ymfah will be stood in the centre of the room wielding his lucky sword and wearing a very bloodstained red hood and Black garb, He will immediately engage you. His attacks are heavily telegraphed yet always have the potential to 1 hit KO you. A good way to defend against these is to have a 100% physical shield and a 100% Magic defence shield in your offhand as his sword will glow when using magic. The key to this fight is Speed and Reactions, He is easily staggered but his most deadly attack is his Defensive thrust that will always come out after being staggered 8 times in a row. Parrying is also good for this fight. After you defeat him you gain the ‘Coin Demon’s Soul’ which cannot be used and serves as more of a trophy... Coin Demon’s Soul: “Soul of the Luck Demon, Locked in the most secretive room of the Boletarian Palace. This soul, Taken form as a hand-Crushed Coin, Serves little to no purpose whatsoever, and is indeed worthless. Perhaps all of this demon’s power Was only within its luck after all...”

Also, you can just reload the area by running back to the Armour spider archstone and hitting the same one if you’re patient enough to run back through the hallway. You’d probably do this if you don’t want your world turning pure black.
World tendency doesn't change if you die in souls form.
Actually you want it black you get more rare drops from farming on black tendency.
