He is still so handsome for a 70 year old man. He reminds me a bit of my grandpa who sadly passed away about 15 years ago in his early 90s. He would burst into song for no reason other than something reminded him of a lyric. He was just always so happy and just loved life and he lived every moment right up until he didn't.

The impressions were pretty good. Goldblum's take on them was phenomenal. He was gracious, positive, and he chose specifics to talk about in each person's performance. That's the sign of a good listener, and someone who values other human beings.

Jeff is one of those guys who seems like he'd be happy to sit down with almost anyone for a cup of coffee. And doing so, you'd feel heard, comfortable and wanting to ask him a million questions. I think it's because he's aware he's a very marketable brand and people love the "Jeff Goldblum" character or persona. He knows he's gotta be "on" whenever in the public eye and has leaned heavier into that character taking it up to 11, thus the modern over-the-top Goldblum we see today.

My dad had what I thought was a black and white photo of Jeff in his office. One day I asked him where/why he got it. He laughed and said "that is your grandpa about 10 years before I (my dad) was born." My grandpa Mortimer looked identical to Jeff I swear!!! To this day I can see Jeff in anything and it is amazing.

This entire video had me grinning like a fool, I absolutely loved watching him love the impressions of himself! He's so unapologetically himself, willing to embrace these impressions for what they are (his fans loving him), and it's just one of the many reasons he's one of my favorite actors😁
What an elegant and lively person he is. Most people nowadays either lack any character and thought process, or have a stick up themselves in order to hide their fragile ego. Jeff Goldblum is the opposite of that. He is expressive and genuine, I mean, you can literally hear him think with all the errr and urrrs, what a colorful person :)

One of the story I heard that made me love Jeff Goldblum even beyond his meme status was a man who met him at some fancy party. He met Jeff and they started talking. Of course other people were eager to meet Jeff but instead of ditching the guy, he was introducing him to the new people and actively keeping him in the conversation. I knew the Duchovny one would have to feature prominently. I first only *heard* that SNL skit as an isolated MP3 track, and figured Goldblum was allowed to play himself when he guest-hosted. The voice and delivery was dead-on.

I think part of the reason why we enjoy Jeff Goldblum so much is because he’s a jazz musician at heart. Even the way that he talks, it stays in a constant rhythm and the sounds he makes in between words adds to the musicality of his speech. It’s very unique and delightful to listen to 😊

Jeff Goldblum is always such a good sport and so open-minded and positive in his critiquing. I love how he gets so excited with the impressions of himself. I've been working on a Goldblum impression myself and I'd be lying if I said it was easy. The mannerisms and quirks are the easier part, but getting the tone and pitch of the voice is difficult.
