the 'rethink your drink' board is brilliant. i did lots of walking and drank lucozade sport drink, because: sport; energy etc. i was warned about the sugar - so, like you, i looked at the bottles and weighed out the white sugar. to say i was shocked is very much an understatement. i also wrote a letter of apology to my DENTIST for cussing his professional skills, that could not keep up with the sugar damage.
Great idea, that got my attention. Coke has enough sugar to sweeten 100 gallons of water.
Worried to see so less of views on these kind of videos and millions of views on cringe videos .
You don't really need to watch the video when the thumbnail basically tells you the content of it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
bless your heart dotor.
This was used when one of my teachers did a presentation
This is a great way for people to visually see, the absolutely ridiculous amounts of sugar that are in a typical "beverage" theses days. Your easily made and simple board reminded me of one from when I was in High School back in the early 90's, which used the same concept, to show the amounts of fat in different foods, especially "fast-food". Not sure what they used to represent the fat amounts, but I assumed it was Lard. It was an eye opener for sure as is this, though I really check sugar levels before I buy anything, first and foremost.
Great idea💡
I appreciate this video. I saw a similar representation using sugar cubes. This shows me where I can stand to reduce my sugar intake, thank you
Green tea, black coffee, garden hose water.
may i suggest you read up on coffee. it's not especially good if you have osteo-arthritis cos along with salt messes up bone growth - so not good for seniors
@@raymondo162 Not my problem.
no sugar in my drink, I only drink water
Sugar is indeed a drug.
They should have a paid recycling food program
Okay Thank s to U
Smart move
Great visual. Why do they always use Coke? Why not Root Beer, Mountain Dew or Grape Crush? They always pick on Coke when these other two have more sugar. As do other 355ml bottled carbonated beverages.
Huge coke fan, I see. They use it because of its popularity, duh. You drink it, that's why. 🤔X
@@657spy But he’s not wrong. Did your feelings get hurt!?
@@jasonlommen4769 WTF are you talking about. They ask why they use coke as an example, THATS WHY. IDIOT
@@jasonlommen4769 IDIOT
It's the most popular drink choice.
Great video visual is a good teacher instead of talking blah blah blah blah
I never realized how bad sugar is to our bodies. I thought sugar was just empty calories, but it’s really bad for gut health. Bad gut health hurts our brains. Educate yourself and get healthy! God bless.😊 1:42
"I never realized how bad sugar is..." i was the same til i weighed the sugar in lucozade - shocked i was ........... SHOCKED
Even Quaker Oatmeal?
check the nutrition values and compare with the size of one sugar cube
Pop fizzy drinks are very addictive, it's caused by the large amount of sugar in them, only to be imbibed when no other choice is available ie practically never
This lady is really is cute. I usually don't like admitting this.
Nutritionally I agree with you BUT I have witnessed the complete decline and greed in the medical industrial complex. I am 63, female extremely fit and very active. I am jab free and post covid with ZERO residual ANYTHING from having it. I ate ivermectin from cal ranch and got over it. People can treat themselves all they need to do is READ
I'll drink that coke, no prob.
good for you !! while you got your www open perhaps you should read up on sugar. you can read, i take it ??
I dont like sugur drinks.
So drink Gatoraid instead of Coke..
Thank god that he or she didn't Show fruits
Why isn't that bag filled with high fructose corn syrup? Only Mexican Coke uses real cane sugar. This video is misinformation!
