I noticed that as well. They were incredibly sexist about her character. A shame.
Though I agree that in this interview they couldn't get passed her being an attractive girl, I don't think Rachel as a character progressed AT ALL passed the first 3 seasons. Like, the real injustice is how little her character changed. She's an amazing, strong, intellectual woman in the show but they didn't do anything with it apart from being Mike's wife. She had some moments here and there with her dad, but that's legit it.
That's what women are based on in today's world, that's why they get face lifts like Jane Fonda.

maybe because Patrick is one of the leads and Meghan is only supporting character, this interview was at the beginning of season 3 so I guess she wasn't in it so much at that stage
Party Zone not true at all. Yes Gabriel and Patrick are the two co-leads but the others make up the main cast. It's a very small cast for a TV series, they mostly all have equal parts. Meghan's role was never minor.
unfortunately it doesn't work like this in tv-show world, for example - I've been watching Hawaii 5-0 since season 1, it's on it's 8th season, after season 7 two of the cast left because they felt they were part of main cast but the show runners treated them as supporting ones, to me they were main character from ep. 1 because they were part of the main team, and it always was a small cast, but not for the show runners,

He's 80-something. Has interviewed the most iconic legends of our times. He's just going through the motions now interviewing little known tv stars because he prefers to work than retire. Many men are like that. They lose their sense of purpose when they retire. This was not a good interview.
Actually, he's not really interrupting them, by the time he inserts these questions, they're pretty much done talking, he just doesn't let them transition to silence. They start to go "and... yeah" and that's when he cuts off

Great interview! Not sure why the complaints about Patrick talking too much--Meghan talked a lot, and their conversation flows naturally. Nothing sounds stilted or forced. I'm a Suits fan first--couldn't care less about Meghan/Harry except knowing that Meghan is happy. Love Patrick, and didn't know he'd done a pilot with Meghan years ago. Prophetic that Patrick says Mike will eventually need to become a legit lawyer, and that Meghan thinks, as early as season 3, that Rachel and Mike are probably building toward eventual marriage.

Rachel Zane was not the “go to girl with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the law.” She was a failed law student who couldn’t get into law school and was eye candy and Mike Ross’s love interest. The go to girl was Harvey’s secretary Donna.
So much hate lol. Just watch the show. She was the go to girl who put in the work & had great knowledge of the law. While Donna is amazing, she doesn't have any knowledge of the law as such.

Unbelievable - I only came across Suits a few days ago (living under a rock) been binging since and cannot believe how consistently good (no, make that excellent) this show is. I have Prince Harry to thank for my curiosity about an American marrying into the British Royal Family which in turn made me aware of the show. I could shower it with adjectives - but it's success shouts louder than any praise I have for it.

I think that he was just struggling to phrase it, as he was asked if he was single, which he technically was, as your legal status is single/married/widowed/divorced/separated. So colloquially he wasn’t single, but legally he wasn’t married

I've never seen an episode of Suits, because I just don't watch much television these days; & I haven't really watched television in the last 3 to 4 years. I now feel so blessed to have seen this interview along with the infamous Royal Wedding, & I now would LOVE to see these two at work on the set of Suits. They both truly are bright illustrious stars.
Markle's show wasn't on TV, but was on cable. You had to pay extra to have cable in order to watch that show. I never heard of that show before their marriage since I wasn't reading gossip magazines or newspapers, etc. I still don't watch that show. I don't throw my money away on cable - paying for cable does not stop the commercials, so why pay?
