For one night only in November 1966, Muhammad Ali was perfect.
This sits on KZhead hopefully for the remainder of human history. As moving time capsule of the greatest of our species.

I had to reupload this video due to recieving a claim during the middle part of video. So I had to edit some parts out. A minute has been cut from the original video. Hopefully you guys still enjoy the video. 👊
It's a great video. Thanks Bro
I WAS JUST ABOUT TO SAY I THOUGHT U DID THIS ALREADY LOL
Almost every day I enjoy watching this extraordinary video. I felt bad when I didn't find it yesterday.
No wonder this felt so familiar.

Ali fought so perfectly in this fight, it almost looks as if him and Williams choreographed the entire fight beforehand, artistry in motion.
Williams was completely washed up here
@@michaeltrumph121 True
@@michaeltrumph121 And unfortunately for him, he happened to meet Ali at his absolute physical peak.
Unfortunately this was a mere shadow of the real Williams. In the dressing room before the fight, his manager told him he wasn't getting a penny, and that he was getting sued for $60,000. Williams entered the ring already defeated. Extremely sad.
Look at Clevelands Williams Documentary, half of Williams organs were removed because he was been shot two years before. Williams couldn‘t even walk proberly anymore, and some of his organs were removed and he came back to the ring! 😡😡
George foreman once said. The hardest he'd ever been hit was during a sparing session with Cleveland Williams. Ali fought the right fight on the night.
Yeah Williams right hand was a sledgehammer
However Ali was unbeatable at his flawless best!
The big cat could knock a man out with a left hook or right cross but Ali was just beautiful float like a butter fly and he stung like a bee in the prime of his time wow!
Thunderous fast also,as deadly and sharp to the left hook..
Liston destroyed cleave land twice
Damn that story about Cleveland Williams, surviving and being able to step back into the ring is insane! One of the most dominant fights of all time for a reason
There will never be another like him. The greatest athlete of all time!
Biggest fraud of all time his fights were rigged by the nation of islam
Williams is an underappreciated boxer for sure, would've loved to see a match between a younger Williams and Ali
No wonder this fight is often called Ali's "Perfect Fight". The beauty of his head movement to dodge Cleveland's punches, the artistry of his eye catching footwork, the many feint movements to confuse Cleveland and the lovely combinations when he decides to attack. I am amazed at his ability to throw a knockout punch while retreating. (The first knock down) Who does that? And finally his trade mark occasional hitting of his gloves against each other in a show of confidence, occasionally tapping his forehead with one of his gloves. I have never enjoyed boxing like he displayed in his prime. The GOAT.
"If you wanna lose your money, bet on funny" man, his trash talk was just on fire.
This was a pure masterpiece of a fight display by Muhammad Ali. Cleveland Williams said that he had the hardest time find a target in Ali. His speed was amazing during this era from 1963-1967. Pre exile Ali was the perfect heavyweight fighter.
Williams was washed up here.
@@michaeltrumph121 always some idiot who would post a stupid reason why Ali wasn’t that great. Thanks for your pointless retort.
@@michaeltrumph121 Ali would’ve tried if it was prime Williams bud. It would’ve been even worse
@@michaeltrumph121 You understood rubbish about Ali. If he was facing a God, i would say the odds are even
@@thorn3802 It wouldn't have been worse at all. Sure, Ali would have still won, but Williams would of at least put up a fight.
The ending of this video with both you and Tyson describing Ali brought me to tears. Keep up the incredible content
Tyson got choked up talking about the GOAT
Me too. I followed Ali from 1965 when my farther put me Infront of a Valve B&W TV set and introduced me to Muhammad Ali (known as Cassius Clay by many back then) Mike Tyson's speech bought a Lump to my throat
Yeah well I wasn't cryin I had something in both my eyes. 😢
Hey man this ending will bring a grown man to tears. Ali just different man, never be another human like that. 🙏
It's disgraceful the way Ali was treated by the Government for standing up for his belief. Anyone else would probably have retired after losing their livelihood, Ali never lost his title in the Ring, but he won it back, and the hearts of, not just the American people, but people the world over! Ali transcended Boxing, he had so many levels to him. But most of all, he was a man of the people.
I admire him over everyone else. I love Ali! Love him.
That ending was simply beautiful
Did you notice how chiseled an athlete Cleveland "Big Cat" Williams was, and Ali was masterful in dismantling William's. Ali has never been knocked out, knocked down a few times but immediately came up to win the fight except when he lost his first fight to Frazier by a decision. The Ali/Frazier trilogy is the greatest trilogy in boxing history.
" Of All Time" 💯
I must admit, these series about Ali are a masterpiece. Narrated to perfection. More please.
The Greatest of All Time!! RIP Champ!
Tyson's emotional tribute to Ali should tell you all you need to know
I have always been a big Ali fan - going back over 50 years. However in this fight poor Cleveland Williams had been shot by police a couple of years earlier and he was past his prime. Ali had a great fight but Mr. Williams probably should not have been in the ring that night. I actually feel sorry for Cleveland Williams in this fight. Ali got the job done but was not vicious - this is one of the qualities that made him great. George Foreman said the same.
Gotta respect a man that returns to boxing after being shot. In his comeback, he won 17 fights with 10 ko's and only lost 8 times
Well, he was vicious when he was torturing Patterson.
@@xdxyyt2133 so he had a combined record of 17-8? And is that a good record?
@gianca60 vintage boxing for a guy that came back to boxing after being shot and, having that bullet lodged into his shoulder, yes it's a very good record. Btw: the record I mentioned only consisted of his fights after he was shot not, his previous fights.
@@MaccaveliPL - you know maybe you are right about that. I think he and Floyd had a beef about Ali's name and I know that infuriated Muhammad. I was a fan of Mr. Patterson's too. He was a great fighter and a gentleman for sure!
Ali's single greatest performance ...👌🏽
I find it amazing when you watch Muhammad Ali box, he doesn’t even look like he hits that hard. Not like a George Foreman or Ernie shavers.
Lol i wasn't a fan coz he dont hit hard. I didnt know shit about boxing
He probably could've become more 'muscular' using gym weights, so that he could hit harder, if he'd wanted to, but the trade-off would be that in doing so, he'd have lost some of the speed from his punches, which he didn't want to do. I don't think that Ali ever went into the ring with the intention to seriously hurt his opponent (unlike some other boxers I could mention). Indeed, in a number of his fights during the 1960's, he motioned to the referee to step in to stop the fight, when he knew that his opponent had had enough. He was poetry in motion in a boxing ring - the sad part is that, like many boxers, he ended up paying a terrible personal price.
Mike's quote at the end was real deep
Ali was in his prime from 1964 thru 1967. Joe Frazier or anybody else could never beat Ali back then.
Ali did everything your boxing coach told you not to do.
This guy has a great narrator voice
More than a great Boxer ......................an inspiration in life , with courage , a legend!
You can watch boxing for a 1,000 years, and never see another boxer fight with so much beauty, speed, and grace, like Muhammad Ali showed here!
Still can`t believe his speed. He danced for for 15 rounds. That Ali shuffle is cool. That man could move. I just wish he had the knockout power. Can`t have everything.
Williams was washed up here.
Ali knocked out 37 heavyweights including George Foreman, Joe Frazier and Sonny Liston - he could punch hard
@@poweroftheriff He never KO'd Frazier and Liston. Frazier's camp threw in the towel and Frazier was almost completely blind in one eye by then. Liston took a dive. As for Foreman, he punched himself out, he was completely exhausted, anyone could have taken him out by that point. Ali was an attrition boxer, who needed to hit his opponents all night to wear them out, he couldn't KO them from the get go with 1 punch, he lacked the power to do so.
@@michaeltrumph121 Yes He wasn't born with that, but born with phenomenal speed. As I said, he used what God gave him. It's possible if he lifted weights he could have gotten more power but that wasn't what he wanted to do. Probably would have just slowed him down
@@michaeltrumph121 He ko'd Liston, don't use the ''took a dive'' excuse like most of yall do. He got knocked down by a punch he didnt see, he even tried to get up but fell over.
Muhammand Ali at that fight was probably his best version. Respect to Cleverland Williams, after getting shot and still getting up.
The original video (edit) was a masterpiece. Which idiot claimed copyright and tried to ruin that work of art?! Your narration was so eloquent that I weeped by the end of it, it was so beautiful and so moved by your words! The greatest tribute to the Greatest of All Times.
The greatest of all times. That was Cleveland Williams biggest payday so there’s a little more to the story.
He's the greatest boxer of all time yet we'll never really know how great he truly was. We didn't get to see him when he was at his best. It's a bit like Bobby Orr. As great as he was we never really saw him at his best because by the time he got to the NHL one of his legs was already gone.
This is filmed backwards. Right jabs instead of left jabs
I love this boxing story and like how the man telling it about Muhammed Ali
Sad that the video got taken down.. But atleast it's back again :)
Ali in his prime was like a Lion his hand speed and balance was spell binding. His speed was like lighting. I don't care Muhammad Ali was the GREATIST!!!
MUHAMMED ALİ the legend ❤❤❤
Cleveland Williams vs Sonny Liston is one of my favourite fights. Although Williams lost due to tko, he was a force to be reckoned with. I don't know the story behind him getting shot by a police officer, but it was the end of his title chances and the reason he was so outclassed by Ali here.
Ali was 100pc right about Vietnam
The fights Clay/Ali fights from '63 to when he was stripped of his title were the most beautiful display of boxing craftsmanship in history, INCREDIBLE.
Sonny said Big Cat's eyelids had muscles 😂
Wow "Ali's an animal, a different breed of person, he's not like us" - Mike Tyson
The greatest performance amazing 😮
This versión of Ali is the greatest fighter of all time
You and I will never see a boxer this great ever again. Mk1 Ali (before his five year ban) was unbeatable and the Greatest boxer to walk this planet.💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Frazier and Ali both had more will then any fighters ever. Frazier and Tyson are my favorite heavyweights cause I like their style but Ali is undoubtedly the GOAT.
The greatest at his greatest. After he lost 3 years of his prime. He was a bad man!
I've only cried for the passing of 4 people that weren't family: Leonard Nimoy, Robin Williams, Kobe Bryant and, The Greatest.
استحالة لهذا الرجل ان يتكرر
13:06 "he's a different breed...he's not like us." The only person where Mike f'in Tyson himself would group himself with me, a potato, rather than with him, in terms of strength. That says it all.
Your narration is unbelievable like the Greatest
USYK sir.
What a wonderful find your channel is! A delight for all fans of the sweet science.
The Greatest fight by the GOAT of ALL athletes in ANY sport…greatest spirtsman EVER.
This was peak Ali. And peak Ali beats peak Mike Tyson. Seeing what became of Ali at the end maybe having his license revoked for those years did him a favour....
He don’t beat mike Tyson or Tyson fury bro Ali is overrated
@@Narration___Nation he def beats both tysons too fast for fury and ali beat foreman who came back during mike tysons era and won a heavy weight championship at 45 evander holleyfield said old foremon hit harder then tyson and tysons power was his best weapon and ali beat someone whoprolly hit harder then him
@@td3798 lmao ur only talking about Tyson’s power and ignoring how he has one of the fastest hands in heavyweight boxing ever, he is the best difensive heavyweight of all time, has a chin like iron (as his name suggest) and some of the most complex footwork of all time. Forman only had power. He wasn’t fast, no defence, no footwork just pure strength. Not to mention he didn’t even hit Ali cleanly since Ali was covering up on teh ropes the whole fight and Forman kept punching proving he has a low battle iq. Tyson’s stamina is extremly underrated and is also has far better stamina than Forman

Amongst myriad videos and stories of this man, over many years, IMO, this was a concise, accurate, almost beautiful, piece about 'The Greatest'. Thank you.
Outstanding effort. Thank you! A++
Thank you for the history-lesson and God Bless you; I really enjoy your work; its very thought provoking and educational as well.
its content and videos like this that will keep youtube in buisness for eternity. well done.
I had the pleasure of watching ALI As a child sitting next to dad on the couch watching ABC wide world of sports .out of all the fights we watched together and I've watch since neither one of us ever talked during a Muhammad Ali fight,it was a thing of beauty.
This film is backwards it makes Ali look like a southpaw
Greatest southpaw ever!
At his best he was the greatest from 1964 to 67. No one in history I believe can beat that version of Muhammad Ali unbelievable speed and power because the old saying in boxing goes the punch you don’t see coming is what hurts you so speed equals power, the combination of speed in power he had at his best was unbelievable
The 🐐 of sports....
my favourite ali fight tbh a perfect display of skill speed ring iq everything that ali was ….. doesnt detract from the fact that williams was finished by this time in his career but it was still beautiful to watch
Just took the time to notice the guns on Williams. Massive.
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, the fists can’t hit what the eyes can’t see, no other sportsman is as great as he, there’ll never be another like Muhammad Ali!
Did Shakespeare just wrote the script for this video? So wonderfully spoken of its content.
He was so good they had to use the draft to take away his belt.
In this video, Ali is a southpaw!
its amazing to see Ali fought in a southpaw stance...
No. The video is flipped. He's not southpaw.
Love the comment "What could have been if politics had stayed out of it". Most believe Ali was at his best, but he was just approaching his prime. We missed his true prime years (25 - 28), the nexus between skill and experience for a boxer. Yes, Williams was a glimpse of what we could have seen.
Amazing to think Ali was once unpopular
THE GOAT 🐐 OF ALL ATHLETIC GOATS 🐐
I never knew Ali could box south paw.
It wasn't
Truly best person and real G.O.A.t
Great video!
When you come to watch a vid about boxing and you find yourself crying afterwards!
The ABSOLUTE GREATEST FIGHTER TO EVER PUT ON A PAIR OF GLOVES!!!
Fucking A brother. Fucking A. Ali as a young man was perfection.
Ali was the greatest bcse he was the greatest no matter what.
I was wondering if you had any footage on Owen Beck? He’s my boxing coach and I was trying to find some good footage of him.
R I p beautiful❣️💗❤️I met this handsome man with lovely skin he was as wide and tall as a standard door 🙂love him too bits
I never knew that Williams was shot by a police officer. I had always wondered why he looked stiff and awkward against Muhammad Ali, like he had an injury during training or something like that. Now I know why.
According to the police report Williams resisted arrest, and the officer's .357 magnum revolver went off during an ensuing struggle, hitting Williams in the stomach and lodging in his right hip. Williams had to undergo four operations in the next seven months for colon damage and an injured right kidney. The right kidney had to be removed in June 1965. Doctors could not extract the bullet, which had broken his right hip joint and caused partial paralysis of some of the hip's muscles, he also lost over 10 feet (3.0 m) of his small intestine, and sustained nerve damage which affected his left leg above the knee and caused it to atrophy as a result.
Yo. You keep putting out gems. Can't wait for the next one. Love the old school voice with the new school references.
Ali one 🕐 of the fear and dynamite boxer, in heavyweight champion 🏆, 🌎 in the 🎁 🥊 boxing history! He fought like cheetah 🐆,quick rapid punches, move lightning 🌩️ speed like cheetah 🐆! Wow!
These videos are crazy
Williams was never the same fighter after getting shot in 1964, and losing a kidney. He also had partial paralysis following the shooting.
Why the black white version
Sir you've outdone yourself
What is the name of the music playing in the background!?!? It fits perfectly with this video of Ali
Ali fought two different HOF careers
man hats off to sonny liston as he knocked out a prime williams in 2 rounds
Williams would have been able to kick all heavyweights during his time I bet accept Ali. I don't see any heavyweight beating that Ali in the history of boxing, not that ALI.
Why is the film showed backward? They're both stood southpaw.
Great job once again! Would love to see what you would do with Ali vs Terrell
Only thing bad about this video is they have ali fighting in a southpaw stance
look at the master in action. FLOAT LIKE A BUTTERFLY STING LIKE A BEE thats how to box NOT FIGHT to box. the perfection of pugilism
This was Ali entering his prime which he was robbed of.
If ole clev were fighting today he would undoubtedly be heavyweight champion of the world.
