I found Boss Dante difficult to reliably combo, so I unfortunately think I to relied too much on variants of the same string. I think I'd like to come back to the fight sometime in the future once I have better mastery of Dante in general.

Actually no, the Stinger opening doesn't happen when playing as other characters, and the fight progresses normally.
To add this if you hit reset to checkpoint with Vergil is skip it anyway.
Can you Royal Guard the other Dante's Royal Revenge though?
Unfortunately not, but you can Royal Release on it.

As far as I can tell, unfortunately not. You can't block the RR either, but you can royal release on it.

Great play but i feel like you gotta work on those combos, they're kinda repetitive
That's because dante is kind of hard to stun out of his combos and keep him stunned. His armor is kind of wonky during this fight, so I can't blame him if he found the combo that does manage to do it
Very much valid. I intend to keep working on ways to combo Dante in particular, since he behaves so much differently than other enemies in terms of fall speed and super armor. Still, I appreciate and agree with the comment, and I'll be practicing more.

Yeah this is fun to watch. But it's repetitive & boring. You do the same repetitive combos & the music is repetitive. This was boring to watch. At least have different music playing instead of the same repeating songs. I know you chose the songs cause they're DMC soundtracks but nearly every DMC content plays the same soundtracks & do their own repetitive combos.
