  • Honestly from someone who's not a fan of either team, to me it seems like Jordan Love has too much pressure on him. You can see it on his face and in the way he plays. Being the new packers QB to follow two HOF qbs is such big shoes to fill and the fanbase has zero patience to let him grow. They already want him off the team after his 5th game. You can sit the bench for years but if you don't have game experience and reps consistently very few QBs are able to go out there and light it up immediately unless they have a situation like San Francisco and they are a massive exception. He needs more time at least 2 seasons to see if he's the guy. Packers fan will never admit to a rebuild but all great franchises go through periods of rebuilding. It's professional sports.

    • Packers fan here. I promise you most of us are calling for the coaching staff to go and change not so much, Love. He has his problems and needs to be callout but not to where we’re just ready to pull the plug. He has all this pressure not by just simply following Brett and Aaron but also the fact that he has no run game to fall back on, and an offensive line that’s bad. He’s being ask to just go out there and win the game for us and that’s not going to do it for a QB that’s as inexperienced as he is.

      @brianatkinson8164@brianatkinson81647 ай бұрын
    • @@brianatkinson8164saying the ST lost it is being delusional. Defense kept SF at 12 points or so, if offense scores 10 points in a whole game look no further, cause the culprit's there. Same against Tampa, on a slightly different note: if defense makes 3 INTs in a half, and you make 3 points out of it, you're to blame. And same here: defense keeps the other team at 17, you have the ball at midfield with minutes to spare and six points to make, you HAVE to win it. There's no excuse. LaFleur has its part on all these three occasions. But while with Rodgers one could argue about which calls were sideline choices and which were audibles, you can't say that with Love. Last quarter against Atlanta and the majority of the last three games were abysmal offensively. And while one can accept the idea that it depends on growing pains of a rookie-ish offense, when it becomes the norm (receivers are rarely open, calls are predictable, run game is monodimensional) you also have to acknowledge there's a serious issue on the playcalling side. I've always thought LaFleur's game was potentially good and limited by Rodgers being a diva, now I'm starting to think the quality we saw on offense was in part a byproduct of Rodgers choosing the best course of action in what was mostly mediocre (though execution, especially in year 2 and 3, wasn't up to the goodness of the idea).

    • Love does need more time, but he is definitely not the guy. His ceiling is equivalent to who Dak Prescott is now. HOF QB or a bust in Wisconsin. Its time to move on when we get within reach of drafting Caleb Williams in the offseason.

    • If you freeze that play at 10:50 you see him WIDE OPEN. No one within ten yards. That is a touchdown. Granted it is not easy playing QB with Crosby chasing you, but that is what you are paid for. They really need to sit down with the QB and wide receivers. I wonder what Clifford was thinking the whole game?
