Honestly I’m pretty happy with our db’s right now, Marcus Epps, Trevon Moreigh(Probably spelled that wrong), Robertson, Jones, and Hobbs make a really good starting 5 in my opinion. We need a dt like you said, but I also think another LB to compliment Spillane would be a pretty good option as well, going into the season I thought Deablo was going to perform much better, but he let some big plays happen that he could’ve stopped.

I honestly can't recall the last time I watched a Raiders defensive highlight reel that was over 22 minutes long. What an amazing job PG did with this unit after McClown got fired and AP let him take them off their leash. We haven't had that many players with INT's, FF/FR's and sacks in a very long time.

The 2 interceptions by Amik Robertson in the Endzone were killer!!

We were competitive against Playoff teams defensively under McDaniels but once Pierce took over and let Patrick Graham do his thing, we became the best defense in the NFL.
Hell yeah! People say like "they were a good defense" but for the 2/3 of the season that AP had the reins, the Raiders had the #1 defense. So sick
man if only the offense was just a bit more consistent. this was a special year for the defense.
Next year is gonna feel good if we can retain Graham and get a legit OC

I would call the #1 defense in the league for the entire time AP was the HC playoff-caliber, yeah.
Our defense was our heart and soul this year! I am so proud of the unit's growth and hope we can carry into the 2024 season. I really want our offense to be able to pull their weight this season and hope for a new OC and starting QB.

Watching our awesome defense this last season takes me all the way back to when I started to love football as a kid. I remember seeing players like John Matuszak Lyle Alzado Jack Tatum Howie Long Chester Chester Maclockton Lester Hayes and all them other great ones who lucky for us wore the Silver and Black all showing me why Defense wins games! Our offenses had its share of great ones don't get me wrong but I was always fired up watching QBs get sucked or running backs get stopped in their tracks.ijs thank you all for making me love the game with so much passion once again

First time since Mack’s last season that we can actually have a defensive highlight tape that’s longer than 5 minutes lol and I’m loving it! I’ll take a stout defense over a prolific offense any day. We just need decent QB play and a good OL and we could make a run.
I don't know, as much absolute joy I had watching this dominant defense, it's tough to watch an inept offense all year. I think I'd probably rather watch shootouts than games that end 12-9 where the Raiders are 25% on 3rd down with 3 turnovers. Most important thing though? Just win.

Trevon Moehrig has been a rising star in the safety position. Very underrated.
I don't know. I had high hopes after his rookie year but he doesn't play the ball nearly well enough and looks lost sometimes. And he's certainly not an asset against the run.

Watch what happens next season now that AP is full-time head coach. If defense remains the best, giving up just 14.5 points or less and offense improves, then this team is scary. I have this team next season at 12 wins plus because of defense and maybe improved offense. Players want to play for Pierce and will play with energy. Best defense in the NFL can be just as scary if not scarier than best offense in the NFL. Defense wins championship. Buccaneers 2002 and Seahawks 2013 was a prime example. They won SB with defense. Broncos 2015 also.
