Are you upgrading to the Switch 2? And if so, which Switch version will you upgrading from? 👀
Steam deck is better
@@SingersPro please stop spamming
Tell Nintendo 400 for a non oled switch. I won't buy it. Just use QLED tech so it doesn't have burn in issues.
Your channel is losing views man. Idk why but provably because ur videos could be shorter have uncessary fluff to improve ur watch hour metrics provably
Switch lite
I can't wait for a 720p display in 2025. 😊
Steam Deck 800p
@@mariokartfan8784basically 1280×800 instead of 1280×720 Nintendo is probably going with 1080p but it will have to use upscalling if they want the battery life to be decent. The rog ally does 1080p but the battery life is worse than the steam deck oled.
Also these handhelds can only do ps4 performance at best looking at digital foundrys review of the rog ally. It gets slightly more frames than the ps4 at 1080p but the battery life is none existent. The steam deck is 17 frames slower than a ps4 in that game according to them.
@@mariokartfan8784yea, the steam deck runs games at 720p/800p. The rog ally runs games at 1080p but the battery life is bad compared to the steam deck. The switch might have a 1080p screen but it will need to use dlss to save on battery.
Come on 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
$400 and not using the switch oled screen is kind of wild
I don’t even see a point in getting the switch 2 with them sticking to lcd, the Oled looks way better than a smaller lcd screen. I’ll just keep the Oled. Feel the switch 2 will flop with them being this cheap charging 400 on something I don’t see as an upgrade
@@tmproductions18 unfortunately I feel like it won’t flop and people like us will have to wait until the switch 2 oled drops and has a Black Friday sale
wdym "not an upgrade" its a new console with new games, if u dont wanna play the new games then sure, u can keep the switch oled@@tmproductions18
@tmproductions18 Don't forget the LCD screen on the base model switch is over 7 years old. Technology has progressed greatly since then. But yes I can understand your concern.
@@tmproductions18um... new games???
nintendo is a kind of company that under-delivers in hardware and graphics but overdelivers in games, game stories etc.
youre joking look at pokemon lately

I will wait for an OLED version then.
i think they will release two tiers maybe
@@anthonymckenna Hopefully
The biggest telling sign that the switch will be backwards compatible is Pokémon Legends A-Z was just announced for a 2025 release date with the Switch logo present.
But Switch 2 will also release in 2025. How does that confirm anything?
@@HenrikoMagnificothat’s probably the point? From what I read, maybe it’s the fact that the game will be releasing on both consoles… idk
Not really. Releasing it on the older console doesn’t signal backwards compatibility at all if you’re also releasing on the new console. I hope it is, but this isn’t a clue
At this point, the Switch logo is a brand in itself, but it doesn't specify the model. For example, some Switch games cannot be played on the Switch Lite due to the lack of Joy-Cons...it could be possible that Pokemon Legends A-Z will be playable only on a specific model of Switch as well....which could only be the next Switch console, depending of the exclusive features it will have, but at this point we don't know.
It's probably moreso just saying it's for the Switch as to not reveal the Switch 2. (Though that might be wrong as it probably violates false advertising laws)
thanks for the video! nice to see all the leaks and their sources back to back like this
2 new Pokémon games releasing still this years seems HIGHLY unlikely, due to the Pokémon Presents only showcasing a teaser to Legends Z-A that releases 2025 (maybe along the new system, but for sure on the Switch)
Me yesterday: Eh. Switch 2 has too much hype. Me today: AAAHHHH MARIO ODYSSEY TWOOOO
I'll wait for the OLED 😊
they you gonna wait till 2030
The hall effect joysticks are nice but if they don't make analogue triggers idk what they're smokin.
720p in 2024? Take my money 🏆
2025
On a 8 inch screen? That is fine
@@isimioyekunlemarktaiwo3643720p is barely fine on the current small NS screen.
@@darwinsgame6626 you won’t be able to run games at 1080p with decent battery life at all, the tech isn’t there yet. People are fine with the steam decks 800p screen at 7.4 inches.
@@isimioyekunlemarktaiwo3643bro our little iPhones 6inch can display 1140 fine.
Keep in mind that Zippo has a horrible track record. Don’t consider him a leaker, but just an educated guesser.
The presentation of the Nintendo Switch 2 in this video is aesthetically pleasing. The purple-violet color, or whatever it was, looked fantastic.
this is feeling more and more like a wiiU situation. nintendo really like making bad decisions right after a good one
I need a first party in game chat system and a new pro controller that has an audio jack on it.
Will buy a Steam Deck OLED if the next switch is LCD
if they launch with LCD it will be dead on arrival, you cant go back to LCD without it being mini led after giving us OLED.
The reason why the switch doesn't have a d-pad because if you put it sideways it will basically be the abxy buttons and it will not make sense that the abxy buttons will be in a form of a d-pad
is it not possible to incorporate DLSS or FSR based technology on switch for better FPS and Texture quality? would really love to see that in use, someday in the future.
Good Video, I like the animations and stuff
I'm excited for switch 2, and if there's a cartridge version, I'm getting it. Fixing the joycons is great, but I'm wondering if they will make the controllers better for bigger hands, my left hand always get numb while playing even with 3rd part controller. I have a grip case that resolves with but only works with joycons, I really enjoy being able to turbo a button and program my buttons.
im inpress in your videos keep it up
Buying PS5 Pro this year and Switch 2 next year.
That’s my plan too
Sony need to release another Portable Playstation that would push Nintendo further, especially in terms of product configuration / price.
Name 5 games that it’ll work for
@@delanojackson7355It will be like a steam deck, it will run all games up to the ps4 at least
@delanojackson7355 minecraft, ratchet and clank, little big planet, deep rock galactic, low-key probably helldivers, really any modern shooter games, fallout 4, high on life... I mean I can keep going. There's like thousands of games that can be optimized for a handheld console.
The hall effect sticks is a big deal considering if they're looking at flipping their reputation for stick drift then this is the way to go, and the more expensive price would be justified, if the hall effect being as efficient as its said to be, as a 1 time purchase
I need a new switch, but I don’t want to spent the money on one until the switch 2 comes out
What happened to your old switch?
I hope your current switch is salvageable so you don’t have to buy a new one until Switch 2 releases.
I wanna hear about the next sony handheld as well
I have an original switch and I am hoping it makes it until the eventual release of a switch two
Get the latest one put on warranty then wait for the new one. Afterwards, switch it with the new one without paying more then the difference.
just got my OLED, pretty late to the party but hey as long as im happy 😂
720p in 2025 what a joke
I’ll buy an OLED but hopefully the starting game line up will be good. Tanks, arms, splatoon, Nintendo land, or any remake as an only line up and this console will be stored unopened for the first year or 2.
What I really want for the Switch 2 is for it to have more applications. The Nintendo 3DS had music and photos and notes and Miiverse support- The Nintendo Switch really... didn't have that much at all. I mean, it had streaming apps but without paying a third-party subscription, it effectively rendered them useless. And without WiFi, the Switch can only play games through installation or cartridges *and absolutely nothing else.*
720p lcd will be criminal in 2025.
Remember tho. It’s $400. They gotta make it affordable somehow. Its like how Apple keeps their low end iPhones at 60hz, even with a very similar display to the pros, literally just too expensive to manufacture that many LTPO displays
just play on tv
how is 720p not enough for an 8'' screen?
@@LostHoodie 720p is 720p, most of the content in the world are made in 1080p, even on smartphone screens which is like 6-6.7inchs 720p looks less sharp and here we are talking about 8" display with less ppi. 720p and 60Hz regular iPhones are disgrace in current time.
@@avs_ytb games will not run well at q080p or have a decent battery life, the technology isn’t there yet.
holy mario galaxy 3 🙏
Can’t wait to play on the switch 2 in 2060!
of course I see this literally 4 days after I buy a switch oled
I would really like to have a "normal" home console + a small handheld version like the switch lite on the go . The switch/oled imo is too big on the go. The switch lite is perfect for this.
As someone that is trying to make a new big box console... This video should be exciting!
I'll be waiting for a Lite version.
I didn’t think the regular switch LCD was that bad. It was fine.
Im curious what games we can play from Switch 1 library on the Switch 2 with higher frames. Im curious how free to play games will convert forward and if we can play Switch 1 versions of a free game on the Switch 2 instead of playing the possibly graphically enhanced version that might match modern visuals.
You get your answer at around 4 minutes into this video ;)
who else remembers watching this guy waiting for the switch pro announcement
People making whole videos on just pure speculations and rumors baffles me to no end.
Humans are impatient
Do you guys think that the games for the Second consol will work in the original consol?
i will def be upgrading But only if you can play nintendo switch chips on new one since i dont wanna buy those game all over again
i was going to buy the oled but im going to wait i have the og one too
ahhh nice delay only means more time to save i loved it XDDD im gonna be ready when the console goes out
This is about to be a repeat of the Wii U, mark my words. And that is exactly why I'm gonna be buying it
1:57 No.. They don't make it an LCD to keep the price as low as possible ! They so they after a year or so, can sell the Switch 2 OLED after they milked the first movers...
I’ll just wait till the oled and then get it for Christmas
2:00 they are doing it to sell a oled version 2 years after the initial release
Great! The Switch 2 will release with Metroid Prime 4, means it won't come out until 2030😂
Nintendo plays by their own rules... ... meaning that there no telling how close the reveal will be to the actual release date of the console IMO.
I don't care about the screen it comes with mine never comes off my TV I just need the rest of the hardware to catch up to 2022
I just hope I can transfer my games.
All I want is a Gamecube 2 😩
Will it have backwards compatibility?
Im still good with current switch
LCD screens have come a long way in the last 8 years. I would prefer a screen with VRR.
Think of the battery life with a 720p screen 😮
That thumbnail is a picture of the switch
Switch 2?!?! I just bought an OLED Switch like 2 weeks ago 😢 I'm always late getting into consoles and then like a year later they always release an upgraded version on me 😥
patiently waiting
If i'm lucky, I will be upgrading from a New 3ds XL to switch 2... :,I
what game is in this frame 9:20?
Wait… I need a switch 2 to continue playing big games? I cant use switch two games on my switch lite?
Hall effect joycon control sticks and backwards compatibility are the features I'm most keen on.
They should use RLCD display thus battery will last longer and daylight screen visibility will be better.
What I hoped for: *9 in- 12in screens *Improved Frame rates. maybe 90-120 FPS. *Improved Battery Life -Only reason the Switch would sell? Nintendo licensed only games such as Pokemon, Super Mario, Kirby, Metroid, and many others. I personally think this Switch 2 will be int he late market due to the new handhelds that's already out in the market such as: Steam Decks, Asus RoGS, and Lenovo Legions Go. I think the Switch 2 will underperform and underdeliver cause it's meant to be for kids and family oriented company. Not meant for personal uprgades.
Yes, make my animal crossing not lag anymore!!!
Then again they could release the Switch 2 and Switch OLED 2. To not include an OLED model for those owning the current model is silly. But the software and hardware needs a substantial upgrade and screen resolution also.
What about joy-cons of the next switch? 2?
I think they need to ditch the switch model. I always thought it was too big for a handheld, and now they want to make it larger? If you're going to make a handheld, for me, it needs to replace the one already in my pocket.
I just want a golden sun remake
When they make a switch where you can stream gameplay straight from the switch via screenshare to twitch let me know. I’m so tired of us having SOOOO much technology these days yet companies not using it.
I'll wait for OLED Switch 2 lol
At a price of $400 i expect to get the best screen possible. It's 2024, not 2017. I really hope we get something better then LCD.
I really hope it can use Nintendo 1 games like how the ps4 is with the ps5
They need to sell you an LCD model so they can sell you the OLED later on. You know Nintendo won't let you just buy their handhelds just once. lol
What's the name of the game that comes out at 9:20?
i hope pokemon legends Z-A is still accessible for switch 1 LOL
All I want is an xbox handheld, if switch 2 will encourage the competition needed to make that happen then I'm all for it
i mean, we know xbox is working on a handheld because their plans for the rest of the decade were made public by the FTC
Kinda not the point of this video, is it?
@@DisagereetoAgree not yet
@@3RST-GAMINGgame over man
@@GamersAreOppressed-gg6bz why?
the switch 2 should be called the: Switch up ™
i hope in the future, they release the sw2 with locked 60fps. i'm tired of playing 24-30fps with my handheld. even android now has 120hz lol
I only need it to support Bluetooth headphones then I will be happy to switch
I have the original switch so this will be an upgrade for me regardless. If I can find it I will buy it. If I can’t I won’t be purchasing one from a scalper.
What seems as sounds good business decision is to make more powerfull reindition of console and improving Asthetic design for example seperatble joycons that are bigger and more ergonomicaly , wifi , blue thooth and ethernet and ssd slot inside of console , upscaling to 4K with backward compability so you can also be able to run games with your old switch on minimum level (you may ask why that seems like gamble , so they can steadly replace old switch with new one that work with all old acessories , HDMI usbc TV outpot inside new Dock that fit switch Lite to . Also naming their console Switch pro ).
The switch lite lacks the hardware for video output through the usb so.. no dock will fix that.
That explains Nintendo's current sales.
Switch 2 needs an 8k QLED screen
if they make atleast fullHD display i will buy it, if is not i will buy the other handheld
So if I want to get the switch now. Is it worth a wait to wait for the 2?
Yeah just wait for the new console
I bought used one for cheap and I am enjoying the hell of it. I was suprised how well some the 3rd party games run like Assassins creed 4 black flag and some other games that I missed out on when they came out. I say go for it since games you buy will be backwards compatibile with new switch.
Unless you really need one i would say wait for at least the trailer to see if it play switch game, if it play them wait for the new console, but if you want physical game be quick they are start to be rare.
I nearly buy oled v1. But im hold back bcz all these rumours lol...but a next year?its long to wait
You should wait for a next version of Switch but at least a year from the date it goes on sale, in order for Nintendo to fix all the errors based on my experience from Switch 1...😊
I want the newer final fantasy games on switch (I don‘t want to buy a play station or a gaming computer only for final fantasy) too. But I am not sure if it would be able to do it.
Okay but like what new games are actually coming? I feel like i only play old games on my switch at this point
LCD doesn't mean low res or bad. "LED" displays are technically LCD as well.
So what would be better a oled or a switch 2
I'd say switch oled I'd wait to see price and games line up
Most of this is good news, and I'm not worried about OLED tech. So yes, it looks like I will be upgrading if most of this is true!
I hope they’re going to put in some extra effort into pokemon
problem with the ps5 slim is that they build it cheaper and use cheaper hardware
I like sharp panels better than samsung so im happy about this!
