I remember coming across Gorillaz and finding out that they hadn't made music in years when I got really deep in love with the band and the lore (I was in about 6th grade) and I remember being so heartbroken thinking they'd never put anything else out and here I am now in college waking up and listening to this- I've been lucky to go to their concert twice and I'm so grateful they're still making music today and it's always amazing. I made so many friends through Gorillaz and I've gotten through a lot of hard times with Gorillaz. I know it's just a band but Gorillaz means so much to me and I'm sure many others.
Hey Damon, just in case you actually do somehow manage to see this, thank you for everything. For always putting your creative mind to something that, even if you don't always see it, a whole fuck ton of others deeply resonate with. This has to be one of Gorillaz's most beautiful songs since Plastic Beach's "Broken." I love this album.
I agree, but there's also been beautiful songs between this and Broken. Like Busted and Blue, Souk Eye, One Percent, Désolé and Aries.

Man, I seriously don't know what I could do without Gorillaz. Whenever I'm stressed out or having a bad day all I have to do is listen to these jewels and I feel so much calmer. I'm so thankful for the music they make, it feels like a blessing.

Was not expecting a piano duet to close an album full of pop bangers but I think that makes it even more effective as a closing track. Beautiful
In a lot of ways, I find Beck to be America's Damon. It's an absolute delight to live in their time, taking in their art as it develops from their sillier rebellions to their heartbreaks to their ascendances.
I love how unique of a band Gorillaz is, they have lasted decades and for good reason.
I hope Beck is on his way to becoming a reoccurring Gorillaz collaborator, because both songs he’s done with them have been gold.

such a beautiful song, i could (and still somewhat can) resonate with this one and silent running so deeply because they felt so close to what i was feeling and what was happening at the time for me. this one feels more like the ability to move on from a horrific incident with a tired yet refreshing smile on your face.
