The 4g is better
Design-wise, it's my favorite Samsung phone of 2021 so far. I prefer the tear drop notch over the camera dot at the front because it's more subtle than a punch hole. I also love that there is no actual rear camera bump. The camera grouping looks more original than the square solution. The back looks clean but could have been more matte and less glossy. As a left-handed guy I don't like the side fingerprint sensor though. And the display downgrade is a no-no.
Too many choices out there. I will stick with my Flip Phone for now.

I just got one of these two weeks ago. Beats the heck out of my old Galaxy S5. And thank you!!! This is the first video I've found that showed how to go into 48MP mode. I totally missed that setting when I was experimenting with the camera.

Sprint just delivered this phone to me a couple days ago, and as someone who's been using a galaxy s7 for the past six years, I'm not gonna complain about the screen on this new phone, I'm probably one of the few people that considers this screen a step up, and the phone was free, I still haven't decided if I'm gonna keep it I might buy a new one when I can afford it.
Bought this just this monday. Compared to my a7 2018 which is super amoled, tft screen dosen't seem much of a downgrade, less colors less eye strain. Performance wise a32 5g is way better.
I would love to have this phone. Right now I use a samsung a5 2015 and does not do much in this age

Cause Motorola just has failed tremendously with all there Motorola G series phones even there flagships. That’s why I would rather use a galaxy Budget phone. I did used to use two Samsung phones I have used the galaxy J3 2016, galaxy S7. Then went to a Motorola g7 power didn’t like it at all. LG was better then Motorola when it came to there phones before lg went out completely on there phones.

Hey Wade. My contract is nearly finished, and I can't decide if I should go with this phone (A32) or the Galaxy A22. Currently I'm rocking a 128gb Galaxy A30s. The A32 is a bit more than I'd usually pay monthly for a month, but I'm worried that the A22 won't be as good. My main issue is fast charging, which I'm not sure if either of these models have it. Could you please help with some advice?
Just looked up the specs for the 4G and 5G variants and it's like they're both two different phones. The 4G variant has the in display fingerprint sensor, a standard 2400x1800 AMOLED screen and a 64mp main shooter instead of the 48 on here... Could you try and get the 4G variant just to see how different it is to the 5G one?
How do you get the case? I didn't get one with mine from T-Mobile. Also mine only has 4 gigs of RAM.

The display is great and is very underated, there is a feature, a button. when its on the screen is a boring 720p, but when off that's when the screen turns into HD+. AMOLED is overated, people assume just because a screen is AMOLED or 1080p it's better. That's like people thinking I have an iphone it's automatically better than your phone.

I was worried I'll be missing out when the A32 comes out, when I bought the A31 in October last year. Looks like I might be mistaken! The screen downgrade, no! After having an AMOLED screen, I cannot think of going back to LCD. Even my laptop looks paler than my A31. Not to mention to decrease in resolution too. The thicker front screen bezels remind me of my mother's A10. Not a fan of them either, they look cheap. And they downgraded the front camera from 20 to 13 megapixels? That could possibly be the final straw. I feel like if the A32 with the downgraded camera and screen specs has a night mode and 4k video recording, the A31 definitely deserves them too. And I think my country would need a couple more years to get good 5G coverage. I think I'll either wait on upgrading this year, or save up to afford a better device. Thank you so much, Wade. got this phone last week and except screen it is pretty good. screen leaves a lot to be desired and very washed up. getting great 5g speeds and battery life is very good too.

That is weird! I actually didn’t notice until I rewatched his vid. Didn’t think something like that was region-specific but maybe a packaging change to accommodate the larger int’l charger
The T-Mobile trade in upgrade didn't come with a case either. No big loss, clear cases show off all the trapped dirt and get yellow very fast.

I just got a couple of these through T-Mobile's trade-in. I never would have chosen this phone if it were up to me but it's not bad. I haven't had a Samsung since like 2013, before they discovered their "Galaxy" style. Mine was called Blaze and it was really bad, lol. I have used several different models, mostly LG. Love that brand, but they left the phone market, and Samsung is the only brand that makes phones that fit my requirements. So I figured let me get a free phone and try out Samsung to see if I will want to buy a high end model at some future point. I discovered that I really like the system. Almost everything I like about LG is also available in Samsung.

I like newer and better as much as the next guy, but I don't see what all the fuss is about on many of the features of the newer phones. I have been using a Huawei mate 9 for about 5 years, and would probably be happy with it for another year if my carrier wasn't forcing me to change. One of our biggest priorities is a removable SD card, and because of that and the headphone jack, I will likely get an A32 in the next couple of days.

Neither, get A52 instead. Maybe slightly more in price but trust me, you get way better phone than both.
Well the lcd sounds good. No burn in. Sounds like a win win. And companies don’t really downgrade they just give u a screen that doesn’t have burn in damage because maybe more ppl finally catch on and start to complain more that burn in shouldn’t be a feature and u shouldn’t be paying more for a faulty product.
I would rather go with sAmoled + display 4G phone with Snapdragon like M51

I'm satisfied with it, not a fan of the water drop but I don't really pay attention to it because I use dark mode and most of my apps are in dark mode. Got it for $169. Its not to big and not to small . I have owned a few samsung phones and the screen actually looks perfectly fine to me. It just isn't good in direct sunlight. I put the screen at a refresh rate of 60 so I can save battery and I really don't see a difference. A lot of these reviewers are knocking the screen but that's their opinion. I had s9 for a few years and after owning this phone I probably wouldn't pay that much for a phone again unless I'm shooting 4k videos and taking a lot of pictures.
How's the camera?

The downgraded screen is most likely going to be a deal breaker for spec savvy consumers
I'm currently rocking a Galaxy A30s and I'm more worried about the lack of fast charging, on both this model AND the A22 I'm considering are both kindof deal breakers for me. Just very handy being able to charge a phone in an hour, comparing to having to wait 2 to 3 hours.
@@MrCageCat all of the new A series phones support 15W fast charging with USB C. My Galaxy A12 is fully charged in around 2 hours if not being used while plugged in. That's fast enough for me anyways, since I only need to charge it at night.

The A22 5G is in some ways better than the A32 5G for some reason, such as some improvements in the performance, far better 1080p 90Hz panel vs 720p 60Hz, it is larger and a matte back panel that isn't very fingerprinty.
I like my A31 just the way it is, but it just needs a camera with night mode and video stabilization. The A32 does have the camera features that I want as well as a faster processor but I don't think it's worth risking my A31's AMOLED screen for it.
