I CAN PROMISE YOU THIS IS THE BEST CLEANING VIDEO YOU HAVE EVER SEEN!
Hi, I´m Aurikatariina and I clean my follower´s homes for free!
Scrub Daddy sponsored me so I could go to help one of my followers in Switzerland. They sponsored me and my boyfriend plain tickets and hotels, so a BIG thank you for them! On this video I show you how I cleaned a super filthy home. This young girl asked for my help because she had depression and financial problems. The cleaning would have cost her 15 000 dollars, but I did it for free! I helped her and cleaned her home with my boyfriend Sami! Home makeover with satisfying results! Cleaning tips and hacks. Kitchen cleaning, sink cleaning, stove cleaning, microwave cleaning, fridge cleaning, Livingroom cleaning, cleaning transformations. Before and after!

I appreciated it so much but it wasn’t needed, I don’t even know how a parent could insult their child like this when it’s clear their mental state is declining.

    • @@mirandapanda5439 I've been saying the same thing for years. Laziness doesn't exist. Chronic mental and physical illnesses/disorders do, and they cause the inability to practice the most basic of self care. No one would just choose to live life so miserably. Laziness is based off the idea that the person gets something out of the situation. What on Earth could be the benefit of living in such conditions ? There are zero benefits, nothing is gained, it's only suffering.

He would sleep on his bed sideways and he had never washed the sheets you could literally smell his room it was just ridiculous it had the whole house stinking on top of that he didn't wash so his bed had the imprint of him on it. Yet he was disgusted by feet and dirty bathrooms.

  • This is incredible work. As a professional hoard cleaner, this is a HUGE job. At our company we would consider this a level 5, which is as bad as it gets. It is indeed extremely expensive to pay for a service to come in and do trash removal AND deep cleaning. The fact the mother wasn't supporting the daughter and her illness is wild. Just remember folks, this is a SYMPTOM of severe illness and should be recognized as such. Severe pain is what causes someone to become accepting of these living conditions. Don't forget to check up on your family members and attempt to see through red flags that someone might be showing in order to keep people away from their homes. I do crime scene cleaning as well, and there's hundreds of cases where they have passed in their home due to the severely dirty conditions of a home. They need support and care to get them through these situations. Please respect people who show symptoms like this. They hurt enough already without your judgement. Thank you for taking care of this woman and all of her worries. This is HUGE to be doing for free, it's seriously a heroic acts.

She said clean up my balcony... and then that never happened. We have to tolerate the awful smell in the summer and pest coming from her apartment. I have small kids and we can't move anywhere else. Bending over like she does is fine every now and then, but for extended periods, she should figure out how to keep most of the weight closer to the center of balance/ core. (including weight from the head, shoulders and upper back) So, she should get a short stool and sit and lean rather than bending over so much. Also knowing how to do stretches to counter the effects helps too.

  • On the off chance that the woman who owns this home sees my comment- I am so sorry that your mother couldn't find the words to comfort you, but my mama heart absolutely has to. Honey- I am so proud of you. I am so proud of you for continuing to get out of bed each day, even when that task alone was monumental. I'm so proud of you for surviving when you carried around mountains that you were only ever meant to climb. But most of all, I am so very proud of you for getting help. It's so hard to reach out, so hard to admit that you're drowning under the great blue waters of depression. Please don't feel ashamed of your home, and especially not of your mental illness- because those things will never hold more value than your life. You chose to live today, and every day before. Every day you've chosen to overcome this tremendous pain, you've chosen to take care of your body the best you can, to sleep when you felt that you were able. You did everything you needed to survive another day- and that alone is monumental. So much more than any amount of cleaning. I am so, infinitely, unconditionally proud of you. I believe in you and your ability to continue pushing forwards. I see your strength, and though you are tired, you are worthy. Worthy of getting well. Worthy of receiving help. Worthy of love and respect. Sweet girl, you are capable of much more than you know. You are strong. You are beautiful. But most of all?? Against all odds, you're alive. Thank you for making that decision for yourself- continue on ❤ Edit: Thank you to everyone who has liked this and helped me get this to whomever this beautiful human being is. I also want to say that the same message applies to every. single. one. of. you. I'm more than happy to be everyone's internet mom ❤ You're all doing such important work and I couldn't be more proud. Since middle school I struggled with anxiety disorders and depression, and for context I am a college student. I didn't receive help until my senior year of high school when I was diagnosed with OCD. I'm flunking out of college when I had a 4.0 gpa in high school. In my dorm I'm rearranging dishes, trash bags, and dirty clothes so I can make room for other things. I was asked by my therapist how tiring it must have been to live the way I did, but the intrusive thoughts from both my depression and OCD were part of my daily decision-making. I could only say "yeah, but I'm used to it. It's normal for me"

I remember when I was a teen I lived with my grandparents and we were always ashamed to have people over because the bathroom was so gross (grandpa was disabled and grandma at this particular time I'm talking about had dementia, and I had a lot of extra curriculars so I wasn't home all that much). One day one of my friends heard me complain about it and offered to come clean the bathroom with me. I tried to say she didn't have to, but she insisted and brought her own cleaning supplies and everything. Her little bit of kindness in cleaning up our bathroom was so wonderful, we sat together in there for hours until it looked cleaner than I'd ever seen it before. All that is to say, I know how it feels to have someone come help with no judgement and you're doing a wonderful thing. Kudos.

A physical handicap has nothing to do with the condition of the brain, or the hormones (or lack thereof) that are needed to live a normal life which includes having the will to go on. Imagine feeling incapable MENTALLY. Literally. To live, to clean, to work. Every day is a battle.

    • @Heloise O'Byrne Depression doesn't make you collect your excretions and label it... I think you're mistaking that for something else. Regardless, if your brain is missing hormones like dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine to motivate oneself, be happy, do things, then no amount of berating people for being "lazy" will help. In fact, it is being berated that can lead people to stay depressed. Lazy people don't care whether they are doing things or not. A depressed person can desperately want to do things but they are INCAPABLE of doing it. Being mentally ill is a disability. It is as impairing as with someone with an obvious physical impairment, if not more so depending on the case. Being mean or providing "tough love" doesn't heal depressed people, and it doesn't do them any favors. Empathy is what helps, being able to be kind to those even in their darkest moments. Gently encouraging someone to do even one thing, while still not blaming them if they can't. Each day is a struggle for those with depression.

  • Depression is really a disease I can't explain. All my life I was what others call a "clean freak" I could wear anything but white, I would scrub the whole house from top to bottom BUT after I got depressed years ago, I could care less about it anymore, I started being associated with a color black and you should've seen my room, it smelled and filled so much my family would just force the door open because of how it was stuffed. I yelled not to do anything but I knew I needed help. After like months or a whole year with this condition, I stumbled upon your videos and it reminded me how cleaning was so enjoyable and that the results you get from it the most satisfying thing. So little by little, I started to get back up and now I am really happy with my progress. So thank you a million times for your inspiring videos to us who need it. Thank you very much

    • You know you can both be lazy AND fight demons inside your head. Both can be real at once... It was specified at the end that she got better, and when that happened she just decided to up and leave all the damage she caused that apartment. Obviously the building owner(or whoever it was) wasn't having it lol 3:22. Why didn't she try to at least throw out her trash? That's the least she could've done but she didn't even bother. She left all the responsibility up to some kind youtuber. Some people are too compassionate, but at least Aurikatariina got a cool video out of it ig.

      @anaalina5964@anaalina5964 Жыл бұрын
    • @@anaalina5964 Suck an egg, bro. Depression literally steals your life from you. Scientifically, you NEED some of the chemicals you get when you're happy in order to move your muscles on a daily basis. That's why people experiencing depression consistently feel so tired and weak. They're literally deficient in what they need to physically get up and get going. "At least she could have taken the trash when she got better-" No, she probably couldn't. I wouldn't wanna return to the place where I had some of the worst times in my life at, it would return me right back into a depressive headspace. It could seriously be dangerous to expect someone who went through something like that to go back in there, as progress can be very fragile in the early stages of recovery. If she had felt inclined to help, sure, that would've been nice, but she probably stayed away for her own wellbeing. You don't know where she's genuinely at right now or where she was at when she asked for help, so maybe just keep your thoughts to yourself. She didn't ask to be judged by some rando who doesn't know her story.

And after all always new blows of fate appeared in my life. Physically I’m 22 but my soul is already 80. And the worst thing is when no one in your environment doesn’t know anything about your long term condition and you feel like you can’t tell anyone or that you’re suicidal. I’ve been neglecting my home and my hygiene for so many years now. I still sometimes end up cleaning but it’s so freaking hard to do so and I feel like dying. But there are people outside who can’t do it unfortunately at all which I totally understand therefore I’m really glad and happy that she helps people around the world to make the first step and to clean for them and to try to bring light in their darkness. • Your personal hygiene and environment are some of the very first things to go. When I first moved out on my own, I was finally in a position where I was happy enough to have the energy for things, and something as simple as eating good and showering and cleaning your house just has such a drastic effect on your mood. It's why no matter how tired or unmotivated I am, I always make it a point to do those things at least, so I don't fall back into my old patterns. Basically as long as my couch pillows are in order and I'm clean, tackling the real issues becomes easier.

    • @@haleylampley1056 I agree with you. Our surroundings impact our lifestyle and mindset ALOT. So it's important to always stay clean and tidy. Heck I'm a lazy person myself but if my room's a mess, I can't think straight.

  • I love how you don’t say negative things about the apartments and houses but positive things. It’s basically telling me it’s not a bad thing but it’s natural. I love watching these videos because it shows that kindness and compassion can get through to the people who needs it the most. :)
