I usually defend him in the overwhelming majority of cases because he gets shat on undeserved. But I’m not gonna defend him when I think he’s in the wrong. This is such a case. He’s lying about trying to make the rematch with Bivol and in the process making Bivol look like the asshole. Him and/or his team wanted nothing to do with the Bivol rematch so close to the previous loss.

Whereas right now, his fights - if he fights anyone at all- will be for no belt and little money. Bivol and Beterbiev are not allowed to fight together for undisputed. Bivol has nowhere to go other than maybe move up and its unlikely he will.

This is what Canelo really meant: In the first fight we had paid off all judges to get the first few rounds for me,but Bivol still beat me. He knows that and doesn't want to take that chance again, unless is for my belts this time and not his. Also he wants more money which is understandable considering we will pay off all judges again. Bivol just wants to make sure that if we rob him, that he doesn't lose his belts and also gets paid millions for his troubles. Is only fair so yeah, the rematch won't be happening 😅😅

The reason why you can't get the Biviol rematch is Canelo dose not respect Biviol enough to look at him as one of the best P4P and give him a shot at all the belts at 168. I am a Mexican and I truly believed that a rematch in any weight class would be a total failure for Canelo no matter what. Bivol will outperform him, outclass him and more than anything, outsmart him. He is in a completely different level in which not even Canelos coach could ever tap into. At their fight, in between rounds, Canelos coach would talk to Canelo starting with “hijo” and then “guey” and “cabron”. If you can get a grasp of what that entitles then you can understand of where I’m going to with that.

Canelo at least 2 times stole GGG the win and waited years until he could beat GGG. Going to fight with Bivol and not risking his belts doesn’t make sense for Bivol. Bivol is doing right if you want a rematch you have to pay for it and put the belts on the line. Beterbiev offered him the same.

From what I heard the rematch was gonna happen at 168 for Canelo belts but Canelo said no and wanted it at 175. Tbh I can see both sides bc for Canelo having Bivol come down in weight and win all of his belts are gone but going up in weight and winning then he gets to have his revenge at 175.

I am a Mexican and I truly believed that a rematch in any weight class would be a total failure for Canelo no matter what. Bivol will outperform him, outclass him and more than anything, outsmart him. He is in a completely different level in which not even Canelos coach could ever tap into. At their fight, in between rounds, Canelos coach would talk to Canelo starting with “hijo” and then “guey” and “cabron”. If you can get a grasp of what that entitles then you can understand of where I’m going to with that.
