Philadelphia Flyers head coach John Tortorella was assessed a game misconduct against the Tampa Bay Lightning after arguing with official Wes McCauley, all during the honourary night for the 2004 Stanley Cup winning team that Tortorella coached.

    • He's the most liked referee in the game. Coaches love him, players love him. Torts just likes getting mad, the refereeing has nothing to do with the fact that you've got half as many shots as the other team has goals.

    • NHL refs are complete ass, especially McCauley. Sheldon Keefe will help pay your fine, Torrs. He certainly is not a fan. Johns father-in-law, David Frost was a diddler and Keefe testified against him, which McCauley could not forgive Sheldon for.

It's 0-3 and they call a really soft "tripping" on a Flyers player (#23) who was fighting for a puck with 2 other players and the Tampa player fell which drew a call. (torts prob not happy) PP begins, flyers goalie makes a save and they line change. A player from the flyers gently pushes Cirelli on his way to the face off during the change, and he gets a game miscounduct and thrown out. PP continues and Tampa scores. Torts goes for a Goalie change, gets a bench minor and thrown out before they even drop the puck or allow the goalie change. That's when this clip starts rolling. Literally, from the shot of the Goal, tampa doing the high five after scoring then it cut to Wes throwing him out. There's no camera angle of what went on during those like 5~ seconds where Torts could've said or done something.

    • Torts has been fined 10 times for doing this crap, it's his reputation now and he gets judged by refs because of it. He loves to scream at and about them as much as he can so I don't feel too bad for torts here. Plus the team will pay the fine anyways.
