You know what I think something was wrong with him after he got hit with the puck. He flubbed every pass and shot after that. I will say several other players had a tough time with the puck too. It means you're playing tense.

Torts is right. He said the other night they are tired, but also said every team is tired. The simple fact is we have no 1st line talent. No big strong crease clearing dmen. What we do have is alot of 3rd and 4th liners with some kids that could be good one day. This is Danny's first full season and he inherited most of this team and has made some great draft picks already. He needs time, but it's now they have to evaluate who wants to be a Flyer. I dont see many right now unfortunately. The poise Ivan showed is very hopeful. Drysdale had some rust, but is going to be good. Tyson, Noah and maybe York are in there also. TK maybe a 2nd line player and emotional leader along with Seeler in the back. But, from there? Alot of work to be done.

You're so clearly clueless. Torts didn't want to make Coots the captain. He didn't want a captain at all this season. He didn't ok the Drysdale trade. That was a necessity because of Gauthier crisis and was handled by Briere and Jones because they had to. He has relied on Ersson because he didn't have a choice because Hart is facing charges and Peterson and Sandstrom were horrible. I guess you could have done better though. Keep blaming Torts in your fantasy world. He took a bunch of kids and sub par vets to the brink of the playoffs. 😂

Atkinson seems cooked now, but he did have a really good career. Gurionove is and unknown, but we relly didn't give up anything to get him. Allison wasn't going to play for the Flyers. Tortartella, knowing his team is this close to making the playoffs, is trying to light a fire under this team SO THEY DO MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. Its not a Coach's job to make his players like him. Its his job to get the best out of them. Sometimes it takes a kick-in-the-ass to do that. Tortarella did not call out a specific player, as he wants the whole team to play better. Torts is right. He said the other night they are tired, but also said every team is tired. The simple fact is we have no 1st line talent. No big strong crease clearing dmen. What we do have is alot of 3rd and 4th liners with some kids that could be good one day. This is Danny's first full season and he inherited most of this team and has made some great draft picks already. He needs time, but it's now they have to evaluate who wants to be a Flyer. I dont see many right now unfortunately. The poise Ivan showed is very hopeful. Drysdale had some rust, but is going to be good. Tyson, Noah and maybe York are in there also. TK maybe a 2nd line player and emotional leader along with Seeler in the back. But, from there? Alot of work to be done.
Morgan Frost is on and off. Torts hates him as well.
