That's interesting considdering the bible wasnt historically "christian" untill jewdaism was appropriated, much like the same way Islam did thibgs or how joseph smith did it. It's not about "unbelievers" it's about inconvient facts, archeological ecidences about history, or people you can't convince. It's always easier for Christians to just demonize those people.
Being raised in a Christian household, I'd heard of Christian persecution my entire life but never really saw it. Nowadays, the persecution of Christians is so blatant & aggressive, I got right with God & started going back to church. Truly it is the responsibility of all people of faith to resist the vileness of the present world being forced down our collective throats.

You saw it and didn't recognize it- go back and watch all the movies you enjoyed as a kid, almost all of them have anti-christian themes. I'm atheist and I'm finding this targeting of Christians disburbing. One reason I love this country is religious freedom. It angered me to see churches closed by the government. I haven't been to church in 50 years but if any of the ones near me had stayed opened, I'd have attended just to support my Christian brothers' and sisters' religious freedom.

In my country we have a professor teaching on a Philosophical University who suggested that a new nation should be created in the country, secede a part of the country and create pubs or squats in our Orthodox Christian churches. That's good. But the history of so called Christian Nationalism does not have a good legacy. Hitler told the church that his Nazi party would defend Christianity. Fransisco Franco was a Catholic dictator that used the church to support his fascism. I believe thare are excellent believers that practice their freedoms in the political world. But there are so called dominionists that want to merge church and state or party. And they have an authoritarian outlook. As a Baptist that believes complete separation of church and state, that type of Christian Nationalism frightens me, when I read church history.
