a lot of so called "Anti-Materiel Rifles" basically now perform Anti-soft vehicle and Long Range Anti-Infantry. The Shirt and Plates count as "Materiel". also AMRs don't really punch through armor. usually AMRs want to target soft parts of vehicles. soft being a relative term to Armored.

The grenadiers, snipers and some of the Armor are British. Such as the artillery, resource collector, and engineering vehicle (warhound which is based on the AVRE, complete with the Petard Mortar). You know where each one comes from not just from the voices but if you zoom in, they have their flags in their uniform/license plate

@@DEFC0NZER0 I don't remember the name but if you played Generals before back in the day, it was noticeable how EA used the same one for their other strategy games in the 2000's - 2010's. The graphics are extremely similar but you can see the improvements with each successive game.

ECA's biggest weakness is the Solar Reactor. Once it goes down, and it always WILL be the priority target, their base defenses go offline and the trickle income generators go offline and they lose access to their tier 2 tech. It takes quite a while to rebuild and it'll always be targeted by superweapons and support powers. Their other weakness are fighter jets. Raptors, MiGs and Russian Sokol jets can pick off targets and RTB way before a Wotan Array can take down their HP.

@@aldrichcruz9321 The Gepard is good against helicopters, but not that good against planes. Also, with the Wotan Array being bad, that means the ECA falls behind in terms of advanced AA. It has nothing to match the Russian Grumble, the Chinese Twinfang, the GLA Ural truck and the USA Chapral. The Skyshield battery is stationary and unlike the Gepard shoots only upwards.

In the mod's lore. Russia destroyed almost all ECA Airfields and aircrafts that's why ECA dont have airfields. Their form of air support is VTOL Aircraft and helicopters and can onlyy be build in the deployment zone. Eurofighters role are now bombers because only a few are left. As for the Harrier the Spanish Navy has the largest Fleet of harriers. ECA utilized the VTOL tech

no units inspired by Italy, the Mongusta combat helicopter, the Lince armored vehicle, the Centauro wheeled armored vehicle, the NH90 transport helicopter, a rival of the Black Hook, parachute units. I understand that Italy is poor in terms of tanks, but we have plenty of stuff, here it seems more like Germany with a little bit of France.

Speaking as a RA2 and Generals veteran. ECA is a super specialized faction that requires extreme micromanagement. With skill equalized, the ECA is very hard to use while USA can do the same thing with less than half the amount of stuff they have and more easily. Top tier in term of choice and playstyle variety, yes. But absolute bottom tier in term of ease of usage.

nice they added Rheinmetall HX3 10x10 155mm wheeled truck, Puma IFV and panzergranediers, the the whole Bundeswehr ground army is complete wish they can add the strv 103 or just replace the look of the Jagdmammut into an oversize strv 103 that can fire two burst, i really dont like the idea of a twin gun tank destroyer, and yes the germans have a working prototype of a twin gun TD called VT tank, looks awful sorry.

Good content for ECA and Russia, however the US keep getting worse. They removed humvee fire ports, firebase defense, Aurora and mother of all bomb. Most US air arsenal are useless because of tier 2 AA. US have weakest super weapon and no super units ala eca prototypes and black bear sentinel. F35 replaced F22 but still no stealth and no ability to hover. Also US vehicles are paper health and are supported by mostly useless drones that cannot gain veterancy.

Also it means drone can be defense or offense purpose well it has fee trick on sleeves as well for thinking of air superiority F35 can benefitly take on aircraft and ground the UCA. hunter killer drone look like a mini A10 tank killer as well the lack of superweapon is still decent as well particle cannon is their main weapon but the Solar Burst is a Quick super weapon reload rely to focus their firepower on 1 certain point with Apocalypse upgrade blast radius is high damage output is astounding but reload timer is long The USA currently rely on their men and drone and superior technology also the Crusader cannon are like a m68a1 of a Abrams IPM don't forget you can double or triple getting units that is currently needed in command point like I chose Veteran Company to Armored to Covert Ops and followed up on command support needed for the battle the Guardian Angel is a protector of the sky of Anti Air killing enemy missile with their rapid fire laser defence system and Chaffee flares to redirect fire

The Viper is a C class don't buy that it has 2 AA missile but has a MG to rely on Anti Infantry we still have deadly helo the commanche as well as the Little Bird is here with rocket pods as well more like Night Stalker raid the Covert Ops used for behind line operations also accompanied Col Burton along some Seals and Pathfinder also the the Veteran Company is amazing for headstart engagement when going on rampage you can choose 4 Doctrines at the start know their limits their own standard ways and how they would use for several engagement

A few are generals powers and a few of them are from other buildings ,maybe try an skirmish without an enemy to test and find everything I would tell if i could still remember the names of the other buildings but i havent played it in years... oh and its not possible to have every unit in this showcase since you have to choose between some sometimes, like the hero units

Fennek and Commando from general promotion. Eurofighter is general promotion. Jumpjet trooper, Venom and Viking are from Venom protocol. Anvil bot and Manticore from Manticore protocol. Fenris cryo tank and Pandora from Pandora protocol. Lion, Falcon and Puma are from Hanpatch. From where is Panzergrenadire, i don't know.

@@PrimoOrb so far i Remeber the Panzergrenadier and Puma Tank was Plant to be only availeble for the Tank General. there was plan or is a Plan to ad like 3 Generals to every faction and there was a Tank General whos Feline Riflemans get Replaced by the Panzergrenadiere and his Lynx to the Puma Tank. I think he was even plant to get Jagt Mammuts but im not sure.

I think ROTR overcomplicates things with such variety. Not saying it's entirely a bad thing, it's entertaining when comparing to the vanilla experience but one thing I have to say ROTR does 110% better than the original game is how the helicopters move

Yeah, way too many ground units. Can you imagine trying to micromanage that? It's why Zero Hour is still the #1 RTS game, and games like Red Alert 3 are no longer played competitively. Making too many units, or making the units too complicated takes the fun out of the game.

I kinda hate ROTR because of how they massively nerf the USA and overbuff ECA. China and the GLA on the other hand, too little upgrade. Russia's tactic is China's tactics too, utilizing the passive buff of their tinny upgrade.

I am glad yet slightly disappointed the basic standard infantry aren't armed with shotguns, but after playing Red alert 3, I am glad shotguns are hero restricted. If you know, you know. If not, in short, spread, short range compare to others, devastating to anything on the ground.

ECA Pros: Strong defenses, artillery, anti-tank weapons and other tricks Cons: Low mobility, airforce
ECA's biggest weakness is the Solar Reactor. Once it goes down, and it always WILL be the priority target, their base defenses go offline and the trickle income generators go offline and they lose access to their tier 2 tech. It takes quite a while to rebuild and it'll always be targeted by superweapons and support powers. Their other weakness are fighter jets. Raptors, MiGs and Russian Sokol jets can pick off targets and RTB way before a Wotan Array can take down their HP.

@@aldrichcruz9321 The Gepard is good against helicopters, but not that good against planes. Also, with the Wotan Array being bad, that means the ECA falls behind in terms of advanced AA. It has nothing to match the Russian Grumble, the Chinese Twinfang, the GLA Ural truck and the USA Chapral. The Skyshield battery is stationary and unlike the Gepard shoots only upwards.

@@aldrichcruz9321 I've asked in another video, and apparently, from version 1.87 of Rise of the Reds, the Wotan Array is a lot more effective than in 1.86, which was the last version I played myself. So I could be dead wrong by now.

In the mod's lore. Russia destroyed almost all ECA Airfields and aircrafts that's why ECA dont have airfields. Their form of air support is VTOL Aircraft and helicopters and can onlyy be build in the deployment zone. Eurofighters role are now bombers because only a few are left. As for the Harrier the Spanish Navy has the largest Fleet of harriers. ECA utilized the VTOL tech

Never realized how many infantry units and infantry focused vehicles the ECA has
no units inspired by Italy, the Mongusta combat helicopter, the Lince armored vehicle, the Centauro wheeled armored vehicle, the NH90 transport helicopter, a rival of the Black Hook, parachute units. I understand that Italy is poor in terms of tanks, but we have plenty of stuff, here it seems more like Germany with a little bit of France.

Speaking as a RA2 and Generals veteran. ECA is a super specialized faction that requires extreme micromanagement. With skill equalized, the ECA is very hard to use while USA can do the same thing with less than half the amount of stuff they have and more easily. Top tier in term of choice and playstyle variety, yes. But absolute bottom tier in term of ease of usage.
@@RichterBelmont2235 in Multiplayer ECA is an absolute powerhouse if you know what you're doing as you're 100% capable of literally killing your enemy with nothing but Artillery structures because your defense is so powerful you could dominate the entire map

nice they added Rheinmetall HX3 10x10 155mm wheeled truck, Puma IFV and panzergranediers, the the whole Bundeswehr ground army is complete wish they can add the strv 103 or just replace the look of the Jagdmammut into an oversize strv 103 that can fire two burst, i really dont like the idea of a twin gun tank destroyer, and yes the germans have a working prototype of a twin gun TD called VT tank, looks awful sorry.
I like how we're told the ECA isn't nato but their hero unit uses the NATO symbol, as do their basic salvage tech piles

Good content for ECA and Russia, however the US keep getting worse. They removed humvee fire ports, firebase defense, Aurora and mother of all bomb. Most US air arsenal are useless because of tier 2 AA. US have weakest super weapon and no super units ala eca prototypes and black bear sentinel. F35 replaced F22 but still no stealth and no ability to hover. Also US vehicles are paper health and are supported by mostly useless drones that cannot gain veterancy.
Yet, it somehow has the most powerful AI with relentless air/infantry rush
Also it means drone can be defense or offense purpose well it has fee trick on sleeves as well for thinking of air superiority F35 can benefitly take on aircraft and ground the UCA. hunter killer drone look like a mini A10 tank killer as well the lack of superweapon is still decent as well particle cannon is their main weapon but the Solar Burst is a Quick super weapon reload rely to focus their firepower on 1 certain point with Apocalypse upgrade blast radius is high damage output is astounding but reload timer is long The USA currently rely on their men and drone and superior technology also the Crusader cannon are like a m68a1 of a Abrams IPM don't forget you can double or triple getting units that is currently needed in command point like I chose Veteran Company to Armored to Covert Ops and followed up on command support needed for the battle the Guardian Angel is a protector of the sky of Anti Air killing enemy missile with their rapid fire laser defence system and Chaffee flares to redirect fire
The Viper is a C class don't buy that it has 2 AA missile but has a MG to rely on Anti Infantry we still have deadly helo the commanche as well as the Little Bird is here with rocket pods as well more like Night Stalker raid the Covert Ops used for behind line operations also accompanied Col Burton along some Seals and Pathfinder also the the Veteran Company is amazing for headstart engagement when going on rampage you can choose 4 Doctrines at the start know their limits their own standard ways and how they would use for several engagement
The Protocol they had increase defense firepower or range it's up to your purpose also it means all drone including Battle Targeteer and Defense Drone from ATV Exclusive for Paradrop can have your drone that is currently on your army of armored vehicles

Head canon* I think originally it was meant as a prequel to the original Red Alert timeline. The mod was never finished, but it had a lot of great updates to the Chinese and US generals.

Most of the units that you showed are not available on war factory, barracks and the other construction factory's units, from where did you get them??
A few are generals powers and a few of them are from other buildings ,maybe try an skirmish without an enemy to test and find everything I would tell if i could still remember the names of the other buildings but i havent played it in years... oh and its not possible to have every unit in this showcase since you have to choose between some sometimes, like the hero units
Fennek and Commando from general promotion. Eurofighter is general promotion. Jumpjet trooper, Venom and Viking are from Venom protocol. Anvil bot and Manticore from Manticore protocol. Fenris cryo tank and Pandora from Pandora protocol. Lion, Falcon and Puma are from Hanpatch. From where is Panzergrenadire, i don't know.
@@PrimoOrb so far i Remeber the Panzergrenadier and Puma Tank was Plant to be only availeble for the Tank General. there was plan or is a Plan to ad like 3 Generals to every faction and there was a Tank General whos Feline Riflemans get Replaced by the Panzergrenadiere and his Lynx to the Puma Tank. I think he was even plant to get Jagt Mammuts but im not sure.

You should mention in your title that you are using the Hanpatch, not the actual Rise of the Reds mod. It is misleading.
The people developing this mod all use hanpatch to play online, so I guess its the most important version..
@@rf2fan255 Does not matter if you consider it ''the most important version'' or not. It is not the original ROTR. It is Hanpatch. Hanpatch completely overhauls the balance and changes a lot of units. Since as you say is the most important version, then the more reason to add that in your title.

I think ROTR overcomplicates things with such variety. Not saying it's entirely a bad thing, it's entertaining when comparing to the vanilla experience but one thing I have to say ROTR does 110% better than the original game is how the helicopters move
Yeah, way too many ground units. Can you imagine trying to micromanage that? It's why Zero Hour is still the #1 RTS game, and games like Red Alert 3 are no longer played competitively. Making too many units, or making the units too complicated takes the fun out of the game.
The game is lots of fun online, once you know what each unit does. There are so many different tactics possible !

There is a navy for some maps, but the boats are not specific to each faction. Not sure they will keep the navy aspect for future updates, it does not seem to be a priority, for the moment at least.

I kinda hate ROTR because of how they massively nerf the USA and overbuff ECA. China and the GLA on the other hand, too little upgrade. Russia's tactic is China's tactics too, utilizing the passive buff of their tinny upgrade.

The iron cross is still used by the german military today. The fact that they are on some ECA units just indicates their german origin.

I am glad yet slightly disappointed the basic standard infantry aren't armed with shotguns, but after playing Red alert 3, I am glad shotguns are hero restricted. If you know, you know. If not, in short, spread, short range compare to others, devastating to anything on the ground.
