Wait, what the actual f**k ? GIGANTIC is coming back ? Holy sh*t, i remember reading about it like two years ago or so to check if there's any info and it was basically dead, i think there was just some people talking about how they'd love to play it again and there was some private server to play on i believe or something. It's wild that i've stumbled across these news in a random video from a creator i watch sometimes, mainly by accident, lol. Man, this made my day, out of any team shooter/brawler Gigantic was by far the most fun, the company just did a sh*tty job at fixing it and adding stuff to it. Glad it got some love and hopefully it won't fail like the original release.
In Motiga's defence, it was more of a case that their hands were tied by the publishers with money than them doing a bad job fixing things. They wanted to fix things but then executives were like "lol no, port it to our platform first then fix it later".
Appreciate these videos. Only really interested in No rest for the wicked but nice to see I ain't missing out on anything else cool.
Gigantic is a game I'm most excited for. Thank you so much for giving it a spotlight in this. It truly is a unique take on mobas with its creature summoning system. I think it'll be even better than it originally was.

It’s worth checking out the beta at least, especially if you like looter shooters. I’m sure the MTX will be a drag, despite the dev claiming otherwise, not holding my breath. But ya- give the beta a look for sure. It’s free, and I had a good 40+ hours of fun.

Manor Lords looks pretty cool. I kind of feel in the mood for a strategy town builder type of game.
If Dark & Darker was preparing to release on the Epic store as early as April, it would likely list such a date. I would suspect it shows "coming soon" as they have no idea when, or even if it will be released, as they are likely waiting for the lawsuit to finish up, and only release it if the devs win, which I kinda doubt they will. Then from what has been said already, that being something along the lines that they hope the global release will fix the game, I would suspect Throne & Liberty is using the global closed testing period/s to test some new variations, to see if those are better received, and are trying to keep these changes under wraps since they expect to go through multiple revisions, until they iron out something better.

Just built my first ever pc (4070s paired with 7600x) and right now I have just some single player triple AAA that I’ve beaten completely and some first person shooters. Need to increase the library and would like some really nice looking adventure progression games!
So is the early access for No Rest of the Wicked coming to all platforms or just PC? I cnt seem to find an answer for that. At work when i look it up, there's no pre order option yet...
In regards to gigantic I had a hard time understanding why it came out again, so i looked into it and it seems to be basically 2 massive points 1) it will not be free but Buy to play, EVERYTHING is earnable from PLAYING, all the skins will be earned ingame instead of cash shop originally, same for unlocking every hero, so its like a giga pack where its less about milking money 2) It seems to be in a bit of a "life support mode" where the new features are things that was almost done originally, and then with ranked coming out as one of the only few changes, basically gearbox is "opening up the servers" so its going to be super interesting as this to me is clearly a case of them testing out if its financially viable to put out old games on the market again and then not pay for constant development, but make money from box sales. I imagine if it turns out successful battleborne and god forbid Evolve (Which they turned on the servers again for a period of time without saying anything) are a viable way to make money from old Ips and games just lying around. Personally im stoked to see how this turns out, as its something i think alot of people has been asking for, forever, that even if they make no updates please just keep the servers up so people can play it.

Suggestion for a new mod: I hope we can get a new (bigger) mod like “Defense of Cyrangar” (in Diablo Immortal) in the future. A higher level of cooperation of 16 players (4x4) to defend a hill or a pyramid from being attacked from all four sides. So that the progress of the demons is of different intensity, which would require some players to leave their positions and go to help the weaker ones. Ordinary soldiers (bots) would hold back the onslaught of demons instead of barricades. All over the map, flags would be placed instead of towers. Defenders (bots in cordons with space between them for heroes to pass through) emerge from inside a structure (corridors in a pyramid or tunnels in a hill) to defend the positions (hold the advance) until the flag falls. Where the demons push hard, the heroes have to retreat to a higher position (there would be 4 + 1 levels). When help arrives, the position can be reversed and the flag re-established (bots come out again). Players would have to monitor the situation on the map (and to use portals to move to remote freed/safe platforms). The demons would announce their advance with a trumpet. At the end, all 16 players are on the highest flat platform with the last double flag in the middle (no more bots there). Weak heroes should last at least 30 minutes, while strong ones should last more than an hour… Also, it would be nice if we could get legendary gear for wizard, mount animals (skill instead of teleport or some other). Unicorn (white with a little purple) as the base variant. That animal would be different depending on the environment in which the hero is (zone). Camel for desert, polar bear for snow, deer for forest, tiger in the jungle… Replaces primary attack. This skill, when activated again, can start a mini stampede with a small elephant at the head, for a few seconds (call of the wild zoo). He can randomly ride a small elephant, a huge panther, a zebra, a lion, an ostrich, a huge wolf, a brown bear, and so on. I'm looking for games that have a evolution system. For example, kumoko (in Im a spider so what) constantly evolves in a new species. The more HP she has lost after a battle, the more unique her evolution becomes. If she is lvl 1 and defeats a lvl 9 enemy, her evolution becomes more special. Are there games like this?

I've been playing dark and darker for the last 7 months almost exclusively. I can say its one of the most fun games I have ever played, It is so unique and you cant find another experience like it. I will say it can be very punishing at times, but if you can learn from mistakes it gets easy quickly.
Dark and darker is cooked, they've added a lot of "content" to the game and its all trash. They did pioneer the way for that style of BR, but yeah that game has evolved about 2% over the last year.

Gearbox is actually a "decent" publisher, even though they're 2K they don't put disgusting microtransactions and P2W crap in their games and they have a history of supporting IPs in a positive way. I was suspicious when they bought Risk of Rain 2 but they've done a good job with it so far and I'm excited for the 2nd DLC. I might play Gigantic just because I never got a chance to when it first came out.

@@NewSunGambit They are referring to Marvel Rivals which basically looks like Paladins with Marvel heroes and destructible terrain. Personally I think Gigantic could win out because it's genuinely a great game that feels like nothing else (hence why a bunch of fans found an old build and kept playing it over the past 6 years) and has no mtx (micro-transactions) at all while I think most people reckon that the Marvel game is gonna have mtx as bad as OW2.

I am beyond hyped for Manor Lords after playing the demo on Steam Next. It's made by like 1 guy, yet has the same quality of Frostpunk. Everything is so snappy and just works. It's addicting and intuitive and can't wait to see what the full game has to offer.

Very interested in Manor Lords, if the combat is decent I will play it.
I hope they add a chill mode in it. I would like to see how far you could go without fighting. I am sure you could still lose if you make wrong decisions.

Manor Lords is amazing as it is but imagine option to fight personally like in Bannerlord on top of RTS.

dude you need to check out 'farthest frontier' from the grim dawn devs - it's a town building simulator - crate entertainment are true blue devs up there with larian and supergiant

There is a reason gigantic failed the first time, they have resolve whatever that issue was or it’ll just fail again I have been waiting for manor lords for a long time
havent played corepunk but one of my main issues with the gameplay ive seen is how slow the character moves, im going to fall asleep before i get to my destination lmao
There will be mounts and also there is movement speed gear.
If you like fast-paced movement, definitely would say Gigantic is worth checking out. Flew under the radar originally but it's a really really fun game.

great to see you covering Dark and darker! It is now on epic ( you can wishlist it for now ) and there are many content creators on twitch and youtube which love the game! The devs are very active and close to the community. Not every hotfix is perfect (we got hotfix number 39 today since august so thats more than 1 per week) We now got a marketplace , quests , new maps , a new boss and soonish a new class should come (the druid) I am streaming this game daily and its a blast, helped me cure my league of legends addiction after over 10 years :D Everyone who read this, enjoy your day and if you ever wanna try out the game its soo much fun if youre a bit tolerant to frust! Can second that the game isn't always perfect, and classes go through balancing issues, but it's so much fun and while it has a steep learning curve and can be frustrating at the beginning almost anyone can pick up on the game and the devs are extremely committed, open, and making updates/changes almost weekly at this point. My girlfriend, brother and I have been playing since day 1 and with 3 vastly different levels of commitment we can literally always play together with no repercussions. I got to the second highest rank last season, my girlfriend barely played because they nerfed her favorite bard spell and my brother moved to Germany, we can still play together no problem when schedules line up.

Thank you for shouting out dark and darker, seems like it gets ignored a lot by mainstream sources even though its been playable/ a lot of fun for some time. Hoping they win their court case, they had one win in court, and with some of nexons practices coming to light lately it makes their lawsuit seem even more bogus

Stellar blade is getting attention rightfully so from the amazing storyline and dialog, if i had a ps5 i would instant buy it
With Giantic getting a re-release of sorts, I kinda hope we something similar for Battleborn. The game was very good, just got overshadowed by blizz dropping OW doin their normal sleezy tactics. If released now it would so smoke OW2, as it has the pve content, and everything blizz had promised for the pve of ow2 in it already.

I'm pretty intersted in the sandland game since im a huge DBZ fan. tried the demo on steam but that game FPS was terrible. Had the game running normally max settings with 100-120fps most of the time but once in battle it would sometimes drop to 2-3fps. Heopfully they can fix it before launch becuae I had fun. but I'll wait for reviews to see if they fixed it. especially sicne I'd love for it on my ps5 with a 50inch 4k tv but if it already ran like dogshit on my PC{others apparently had the same issue} then ps5 will probably be just as bad.
Throne & Liberty and Once Human are the only ones I'm interested in on this list. And they're both betas. So guess I won't be spending any money this month. Damn I haven't bought a game since Helldivers 2. That game has had a long life compared to my usual play games for a few days and move on.
There are also stairs in DnD that will get you out of the labyrinth.
Bummed the Once Human beta test is only MOBILE and for a few countries like the US.
