Welcome to our new content. As the Weapon Detective, we are investigating modern weapon systems of the Second Cold War. The Weapon Legends is about older weapon systems. In our videos, we tell their epic stories which made them a legend. The Weapon Legends investigates these stories, reads between the lines, analyse, and tells the untold. In our videos, you can find technical information as well as historical backgrounds, what happened during the development processes, combat experience and political projection. Let the wisdom of history show us what the future would be like. Let’s investigate the veteran weapons of the past together.

    • Well, there are a lot of them in the Ukrainian army, so we can still observe them in this conflict. This is due to the fact that some civilian volunteers repaired these vehicles in 2014 and handed them over to volunteer battalions, which mostly had only civilian buses and cars. And Ukraine was so unable to resolve the issue of what to do with approximately 1000 serviceable brdm-2 units, because we still observe this equipment in battles

You can produce, field and use MANY bullet RESISTANT vehicles at a MUCH LOWER cost than this today. When you start talking about transporting (as in air) then it is insane to even consider these over a half dozen alternatives.

      @GrumblingGrognard@GrumblingGrognard2 жыл бұрын
    • @@GrumblingGrognard Your argument is oversimplified and emotion-filled. Can be doesn't mean will be. Can penetrate with what ammo and at what range? Can infantry spot and hit it before it gets away? It's not a Toyota pickup, IT IS BULLET RESISTANT against certain weapons at certain range. Sure you can put on more armor, but will it be amphibious, will it be fast and can you make a million of it? The Wiesel is basically the same thing but smaller and can't swim and people thinks it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.
