This Night Crew episode features a long awaited addition to our night hunting equipment line with a whisper quiet suppressor called a VAPR from SRT arms. We waited over a year for the paperwork to finally allow us to use it and thus far we're super impressed with the results. If you've never hunted suppressed, you truly don't know what you're missing out on.

  • Ive had a can ever since i started shooting. Here in Scotland its a rarity to find a rifle without one. When i added a new gun to my cert 2 weeks ago the police phoned me and asked "dont you need a moderator for this rifle?". Its weird that the u. S has such a strong firarms culture but simple things like hearing pro are regulated. Mods in the uk are encouraged by our regulators and we have some of the most strict firearm laws around. Love the show. The clarity of the animals coming in is truly second to none. Thanks.

    • @@willswope2204 what do you mean? The primary use and reason for owning a mod in the modern day is hearing protection. In the usa the most gun friendly place in the developed world, it amuses me that somthing that is primarly for hearing protection is so tightly controled. Whare as, here in the uk we have some of the strictest gun control in the world and mods are encouraged by our police and is conciderd antisocial if you turn up without one. I was attempting to point out that irony. I seem to have failed somewhat in the delivery. I hooe that has cleared some things up for you. I am happy to keep the descussion going as it helps the algorithm. Take care. John.

  • Can confirm! Suppressors are amazing and I love my Dead Air. I use their QD mounts to quickly switch between all my rifles... and a .30 cal suppressor works just fine on my .204 as well.

  • Hi guys, I agree with you 100% on your oplnions about Suppressors. I live in Scotland and I’ve had them on my .22 rimfire, .223, .22-250 and my .270 for over 20 years now, our Law enforcement decided awhile back to allow them on request for Health & Safety reasons, also if you want one or more, you just fill in a variation request form and the most it costs is £20 ($35) ! If you wait until renewal time for your Licence to get them they are free ! You guys should be fighting to get the same rights as us for a change👍🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

If we stand together there is absolutely nothing that could stop us or stand in our way of our heritage/livelihood. Thanks Chris you have the platform to get the word out, I have your back no matter how much bloodshed. They will not take our rights away. To many hero’s have given the ultimate sacrifice for us to be where we are today.

  • Great video. Why that takes so long to get a suppressor? In Switzerland it takes about 2 weeks to get it approved! The only thing is, we have to laser a number onto the suppressor which will be registered by our gun office of the state (Kanton). Every new applied suppressor get a new number. Cost for appliance is about 150 USD. regards from Switzerland

  • Like most laws in California, they don't make sense and do more harm than good. In CA it is illegal to even possess a suppressor which is retarded. I use them in other states and hunting with them is the only way to go, it is best for all involved to quiet the shot. Guns can be obnoxiously loud and damaging to the ear. A quiet gun is excellent. love it.

I live in Saskatchewan Canada and it horrible here with lefty liberals in power and my brother lives in Ontario and it is so bad he basically has given up hunting just goes to the range now! We have no night hunting, no thermal or night vision allowed on your guns, no suppressors even on air guns and no big game hunting with air guns or pressure projectiles but crossbow is allowed... new regulations on landowner permissions not sure yet but I think written consent will be necessary this year not just verbal!
