I thought we had seen enough hedging for a few years! We decided to get some young bareroot hedging in around the top of the farm and along the entrance. Here is how we got on.

It would be great to have a closer look at your dumper and its controls now you’re a bit more familiar with it.
Great video And the hedge will be lovely in a few years . Watching you with the dumper truck , reminded me of being just 15 and being persuaded to have a go at driving one . Al seemed to be ok till I came to park it , managed to displace a newly finished wall that had a toilet and hand basin attached the other side . To say I was not a popular bunny would be an understatement . That was back in 1970 , o how time flies . Bless you all and kind regards
We use a hand held petrol orger a lot quicker that a spade.
When are you going to finish the cladding???
Another great video cannot wait fir main house build 👌 👍 👏
Hey team. Love your work 👍
Great job! One thing though: don't count on siblings not quarreling over identical tools or toys. Santa "brought" two identical little trikes, and my twins managed to scream and fight over one - while the other, identical trike stood neglected one meter further.
Looking good keep it up your doing great
Is this an older video or ar you still not done with cladding the caravan...
Hi guys good job the place is looking great
Machinery, beats handballing any day! 😂😂😂
Root Slayer is incredible for bamboo or miscanthus clumps! Wouldn’t be without it now.
Used them today on the bramble roots in the fields while playing trees and worked really well. Growing on me. 👍
Write the girls names on the tools, so when one gets lost they know which one. Proper site rules
You need to keep those beech hedges in check. Mine is 30ft now. Grown 20ft in ten years
At least with Beech you cut them back to size ✂️, and they won’t die off like a Conifer hedge. 👍
@@Danish1der that’s true. My dad ruined his conifer permanently. It looks rubbish now
How long are you reckoning it’ll take for the beech hedge to establish?
Over here in Ireland farmers love a beach and thorn hedge to keep live stock in the feild. I do like beach or horn beam. One bit of advice is to get a drip hose and feed it with water every 15 meters. In the summer it makes watering very easy
With 600m now planted I’m not sure watering is a long term option so mulch and rain dance for now. This one is in reach of a hose if needed I guess. 👍
Yes, I do like a Beech hedge too. But if I had the space to plant my own, it would have to be a Copper Beech hedge. In the summer with the sun on them they look beautiful 🥲
Time finish your cladding isn’t it?
@@Danish1der I have both green and copper beach. Best hedging u can get but a lot of work for me cutting it lol
Yay, no. 1
How many days work do I have to do for 5 pounds of sausages.🤔
😂

How come you don't just fence the ends of no man's land and create a woodchip path?
getting really bored of the hedge and fence content.
Aren't you lucky then? You 😊don't have to do the digging !
