ধন্যবাদ, ইনশাআল্লাহ।
The more you read about the Quran, the more it is obvious that it is just a product of its time in history and is completely man made just as every single other religion in humankind. The Sleepers of the Cave story, a ridiculous story, is validated in the Quran. Loads of other influences in the Quran from Judaism and Christianity, not surprising since Islam is a "resuscitation" of the monotheistic message, but entirely consistent with the religion just being a product of its time and place.
Hello, thank you for the feedback. Yes, from the naturalistic / historical perspective you are absolutely right. The Qur'an dogmatically re-articulates and gives theologizing narratives to present its own worldview in a very intelligent way, which some take to be a hint of the divine. Nevertheless, to each their own. If you enjoyed this episode do please check out our other episode with Dr. Javad T. Hashmi. 👇 Episode 19: The Impactful Scholar Guest: Dr. Javad T.
