thx for the review, quick question, external display, can it "extend" instead of "duplicate"?
Hello, quick question is there a stylus for this?
i have the pad 5 almost got the pad 5 pro - but in comparison is not much difference and the pad 6 series also not much does not make you want to pay extra to switch, maybe they will get it together when they come out with the pad 8 or 9 and get their heads straight but I still love my pad 5 quad speakers, i upgraded the pen, just fantastic
Xiaomi has been pumping out some great devices recently - Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, and this Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro! Things are looking good for them in the flagship space 👍👏
Awesome review keep it up as always Chris brother
Thanks! Will do!
Hey i found an offer the 512 gb and the pen for 586usd is there any tablet at this price and better? @@Techtablets
This is fast and responsive. The audio and video are great. I'm super happy.
Hello sir, could you please go into developer settings at bluetooth audio codecs and tell me if APTX HD is in the list? Many thanks in advance!
@@Dirtyhealz AptX HD is in the list . AptX Adaptive and LDAC too.
i really like this type of review where the camera only focused on the product. hope you planing to review the new ipads line up.
Thank you for your awesome review. I'm thinking of buying it. May I ask you about some usability? Can we drag a picture from a website to another app like note or word document?
You're the only one I found who gives all information about everything in the device.
Well for a Tablet LCD is very good for me , since i just leave my PDFs on the tablet and dont turn it off , this is excellent for that because there won't be any Pixel burning
Tengo la xiaomi pad 6 con teclado y lápiz, y esta de lujo así que supongo esa esta super buena.
I love these, and I love Xiaomi products, although not a fan that they gave you trouble with sending their products for review. I've just been thinking about this, and I'm someonewho uses a computer for work, and my phone for small day to day tasks, and I never have figured out if I could benefit from a Pad. I enjoy using them from time to time when I get the chance, but unsure of how I could benefit. Keen to know if anybody has thoughts on this :) As a side note, I've used my Xiaomi Mi 10T pro for 3-4 years now every day for all sorts of things. Still works perfectly, occasionally a strange problem with the volume button sticking but that went away both times after a day or so. The battery is great after probably around 1200 cycles and is still at about 95% capacity. I never let it run down to dead, and rarely let it get below 20%-30% charge just because that's the area with this chemistry that does the most damage, out of all the things you could do to damage the cells. Thanks for the video again Chris
Absolutely in love with my Pad 6. Xiaomi is doing a great job with these tablets!
For how much did you buy it?
Great tablet for sure but I think it's too expensive. You can now find the Galaxy tab s9+ for a very similar price and that comes with an included pen, an oled display and the superior software imo
Very true! It's 100-150 too much
Or an s8 ultra + pen for the same price
Sure wish samsung upgrade the charging speed, still stuck at 45W. Dex mode alone is the best feature. Only advantage of xiaomi is charging speed, Pro models have minimum of 67W, only budget devices are at 33W.
Each has pros and cons.
can't wait to get hold of one
Can I kindly ask you if you support aptx codec and if so which ones I can't understand from the specifications, thank you very much
The display has 12bit depth and full DCP3 coverage, which is more than most OLEDs have. Plus no black smearing, 144hz and 3K resolution, which is like 10x better than convertible laptops in the same price range.
hey, big fan here!! do you have any idea when should the tab 7 would drop? I'm holding off on tab 6 just in case
Not sure I was half expecting this to be the Xiaomi Pad 7. But nope 6S Pro naming. I guess later in the year.
I love Xiaomi's IPS screens 😮 I'm using the Xiaomi Pad 6 and can honestly say I don't miss an OLED panel.😊
This IPS is top class and one of the best in the 6S Pro. I just miss the uniform whites and deeper blacks. But it's not a deal breaker.
@@Techtablets Totally understandable. Great reviews by the way💪🏽 Just bought the Xiaomi 14. Will you be giving a review on it?
@@johnkennedy2604That's a great device. I'm jealous. Lol. Enjoy
Xiami 5 has one one hurtless ips screens without pwm , samsung is worse in this way. You can feel some eyes strain even on their ips panels. Samsung's oled are just dis gu sting !
Waiting for your full depth video bro. Having OnePlus 10 pro . So thought of buying watch 2 , since there is lot negative reviews of Samsung watch 6 for non Samsung users and there is lot of bad comments for trex 2 in Amazon site....
The Xiaomi watch 2 looks very good I might buy one myself.
Looks like a real good upgrade from a Pad 6 but considering I only really use my tablet for light office work and media consumption I would probably pass up on this for now. Until the time comes that the Pad 6 I have is not up to par with my current usage. would've loved it if it had an OLED panel and MicroSD card support that would make Xiaomi tabs even better. I can live without 4g/5g sim card for the tablet but a MicroSD would've made the experience a lot of pleasant I don't like running out of space 😂
Wouldn't be worth it coming from the 6 unless you game a hell of a lot and need the larger screen
Dear Chris, Can you do a comparison between this and the 1+ pad 11.6 and this and the xiaomi pad 14? Thanks!
Is this a chinese rom? Do you have any problems or is a lot only half translated? Chinese characters. Do you suspect any issues overseas? Thanks.
Chris , what about global version ? Global launch has been done on 27th Feb, it has not arrived yet
Hey there brother , The Chinese model of the 6s pro 8gb ram and 256gb is on sale for 509$ alone. it is a Chinese model so will the official service repair fix this if it were broken? Anyway, amazing review.
You would have to send it back to china.
@@Techtablets Well that's a bummer. Anyway thanks for the reply and wish you a good day.
Where is it available for 509?
Do Giztop debloat for all orders or did they do it specifically for your device?
They have done it before.
Despite not having an oled screen. The overall tab is great! Good specs and build quality. A little off topic...I hate the permanent floating window 3 dots in hyperos. I mean what were they thinking? It's so distracting when watching videos!
FYI iPadOS has that stupid thing too :(
They tried to copy ipad for the split screen, tbh its makes splitting easier but pretty annoyting too
@doesn't it go away after a few secs?
@@ebioooits always there in any app
@@inconspicuoususername4275 OP complained that it's distracting when watching videos, but if you're watching on fullscreen it goes away. Though yes, it does stay when you're on an app so that you can make it split screen/floating anytime
Chris!!!! Do you know anything about Hyper os update for Xiaomi Pad 6?!😔😔😔😔 I am getting notifications about the update but I dont know what to expect with!!! Battery life,bugs...etc Is it good or should I avoid it 😔😔😔😔
It's good should be an improvement
@@Techtablets It should but I cant trust to "it should be" 😔😔😔😔 But thanks
Good morning, yes. Pad 6 has HyperOS. Last night I install in my father's tab the last security update of Android. March 2024?
Many thanks for that wonderful review! Can you guide me for a cheap tablet with a high brightness level (higher then Lenovo P12) just to be used as TV/Multimedia ?
Higher brightness there really isn't one I can think of. Maybe the Tab S9+ but then they aren't cheaper tablets.
The standard Mi Pad 6 (300eur) is brighter than P12 ?@@Techtablets
Don't think it is off the top of my head
Will you be reviewing Xiaomi 14? 😊
id trade that snap dragon for a lower tier if they give you variable refresh rate oled so you can read longer on the tablet and get better media experience tbh i hope they realease a variant (sitill top 3 tablet ofc)
Good Tablet , Thank you To Review
Thanks for watching!
Hi there Can u please tell me what graphics does it have in a game called pubg mobile Does it have extrem+ option?
Nice review! I have the xiaomi pad 6 with keyboard and pen, and love it. The chinese pads work really well since you dont have to worry about band support, google is easy to install, and most Chinese software can be easily removed - good move by xiaomi! I do wish they would add microsd support though. I have a small usbc hub attached by velcro tape to the back of the keyboard stand with some extra ports for expandability and power passthrough. The workstation mode is really good too, feels a bit like gnome for linux. So very close to a laptop replacement.
They are very good yes and missing that MicroSD is the only real dealbreaker I feel forcing me to have to bu ythe 512GB version really if I was to keep it but right now I'm using the Matepad 13.2 and the screen is a stunner. The UI is very fluid and overall very pleased. I use a similar hub with passthrough PD for charging with some additional ports.
Hi mate i'm a student that will write on tab and use pdfs so do u recommend pad 6
this made me miss the 16:10 aspect ration, 7 to 8inch smartphones back then. Would be nice for gaming smartphones to get larger or gaming tablets
Will there be a uk release?
any chance it works with the pad 5 stylus?
Now this is upgrade
Sure is.
You need to do the lenovo xiaoxin pad pro 12.7, slaps everything else for the price, £200 ali express. I even liked the screen better than the galaxy tab s9 oled (except motion clarity slightly better on oled)
Hello, when you review these large tablets, could you please show the vertical display of a pdf? I'm sure there's a lot of musicians that would like to see what the display looks like with sheet music. The gold standard is ipad pro 12.9 with aspect ratio of 4:3 but that's too expensive. Thanks!
I want to know your opinion as someone who has used both devices, do you think it is worth paying 130$ extra for this version, instead of the cheaper xiomi pad 6 pro?
I think it is. I like the screen better and it performs great expect gaming needs some optimisations.
It would be interesting to see some emulation on large tablets like this
I don't like showing emulation as I have been slammed in the past by a certain company for showing emulators. Many years back but I really don't think it's worth it.
@@Techtablets ohh sorry to hear that. These greedy corporations smh...
I'd love to have a low reflectivity super bright 12 bit OLED with great pixel density and 165hz refresh rate
Chris Sir I have a question. What are your views on Tablets? Personally do you prefer Tablets (Android/ iPads)? And how does that compare to a laptop/mac and a smartphone from your perspective based on overall computing experience and the pleasure of using the device? Personally I have a cheap tablet but I don't use it much. I like fewer devices for better control and organisation, and I find tablets uncomfortable and unwieldy. Stylus is not needed because typing experience is great on modern devices. Also tablet still very limited compared to Windows PC/Mac.
You seem to know the answer already.

Is there a desktop mode like Samsung Dex?
Whic is better this or huawei matepad pro 13.2 ?
Is there another good competitor for this big boy for around the same price? I could only think about Huawei's 13.2 and S9 plus, and both are more expensive.
Not for the same price no.
does it have a keymapping function for keyboard and mouse for gaming like the lenovo y700?
No it doesn't it I can't find it.
talking about the back camera design made me think of the time were some dubious chinese companies straight up put fake lens covers on their phone 😅 (and it really looks like a stove)
Ah I remember that, fake cameras that were just fake lenses. Doogee? And yes it looks like a stove.
why should i prefer that one instead of the normal pad 6 8gb?
Какая яркость в режиме HDR ?
Micro SD support should be standard on all tablets. It's a shame. Might as well stick to Samsung.
Defiantly and since have a 256GB base model it's not like we could add more storage. It's marketing pushing people to get the 512GB model and spend more.
Now we can use otg ,
Does it have a vibration motor? As I know, the previous versions didn't have one.
wish they could fix the messenger rotation issue
When will they learn to add sim support. Atleast as a seperate variant. These guys dont seem to understand that in wifi only version its very hard to beat ipads in overall value. But if they provide sim card support at competitive pricing then its possible because thats one space ipads don't excel at
Chris... Do you have any news for its global version??
Should be very soon. Still up and coming for preorder
No 3.5mm no buy, surely one company can put out a highend tablet with a fricken 3.5mm jack, get rid of so many speakers and make room for the 3.5mm its not hard
is this 5g enabled or only wifi?
I've had battery issues with all my Xiaomi tablets, and a lot of my phone's: first sudden rapid loss of capacity after 4 yrs, then the battery getting bloated. Are they using a more solid type/brand of battery nowadays ?
I would hope so. but had no issues with my Mi Max which is super old and no bloat.
@@Techtablets my Max 1 just stopped working last week with huge bloat. max 2 is very slightly bloated but won't hold any charge at all, max 3 runs for about 1hr, no bloat yet. My 2 Pad 4+ broke After
Oh not good my Mi Max only lasts about 4 hours the battery is poor after 2 years full on use and now being so old the trick is to charge them now and then. But not to 100% I leave it around 70-80%
I need this keybord
Do you know when they Release? I Really Need that tablet for my education
I think in the next month or so globally
Bro do you know if its gonna release in India?? Thanks for your help..
No idea sorry, I have no Xiaomi contact
@@Techtablets thanks anyway..
I find HyperOS not to be as good as Honors os. Also, the Redmi pad was just upgraded and i did not notice much difference from the Android 13 os.
Going off ona tangent here. I'm still lost on usability of powerful chipsets on smartphone nowadays. Yes i use iqoo 11, but there's nothing more demanding than Genshin Impact for years, and no even with high perf/watt battery life is not improving either. I'm truly unmotivated to get the latest and greatest from this moment onward
Yeah, I really don't understand when people obsess over benchmarks at the high end. I don't feel like I've been limited by a phone since like the 865 chip, and honestly even before then. Even mid-range chips from like 20/20 onward feel almost indistinguishable in terms of browsing speeds. Seems the only real benefits are a few extra frame rates on the very few games that are optimized for that. .... At least since TMC took over for Qualcomm, the battery efficiency has been good. These days using 7g2 or 8 plus g1 would seem to be enough for 99% of users.
Your pad 6s pro is china version right ? Does it have gms built in ? Can install google ?
it seems that there are no built-in Google services, but they can be installed
Interesting tablet. Still a little bit pricey for me, also considering the pen and the keyboard cover, but it's not that bad at all.
It is a bit around 600 euros/$600 USD
Can it connect to an external monitor and are you able to turn off the pads screen while it's connected?
yes you can connect it to an external monitor, but it forces the screen to be duplicated (no options for the screens to be extended, etc.)
Is getting a global version of a tablet as important as getting a global phone? I was thinking of getting the China ROM version of this tablet as it is available with higher memory and storage options. I don't need a tablet for phone/text push notifications or android auto etc...are there any other real reasons to go global?
Not really in this case because it's not like it has 5G support and the wrong bands etc. Global model doesn't seem to be coming out either.
What's the Price of 512gb varient ? Nd focus pen? What about heating issue ?
$100 more for the 512GB model with 4GB more RAM. No heating issues and there is a stylus for it (I don't have it)
@@Techtablets thanks dude ❤️ 4gb ?? Or 12gb??
I wonder if there is an issue with oled supply lines. Lots of premium tabs seem to skip them.
Or they might want to avoid screen burn-in? But really I think it's the cost of them.
OLED supply lines lol. LCDs are simply cheaper that's all there is to it
i think its more about keeping the costs down as LCD is cheaper, and having OLED would add up to the price making the device pricier than it already is
I want your opinion Wich one is best in buget Xiaomi pad 6 pro or this one .......? Plz plz plz help 🥺
If u love big screen then go with this one but maybe let it sale off a bit cuz idk how.much in globally but in china it will be about 600 bucks

Great tablet, but a bit of a stretch to upgrade to from last year's Pad 6 Pro considering it has no AMOLED 😢and the price increase
Yeah I feel like it should have an OLED or AMOLED. And odd they didn't call it a Pad 7.
@@Techtablets aren't the OLED iPad Pro supposed to be coming, maybe that's the Pad 7 line then 😂
😂😂 100% since Xiaomi loves to copy them.
Finally a proper review on KZhead, thank you. But Why would anyone buy this tab?Now For the same price you can get the Samsung tab s9 with similar specs but better amoled display and s pen included. Also Samsung software experience and ecosystem is much better than mi tabs.
Depends where you get it. 520 euro for china version vs 800 for samsung
S9 is too small, you have to buy the S9+ in order to have a tablet like this Xiaomi Pad6s Pro and the difference in price is HUGE (900€ vs 600€)
16:25 It makes sense to see occasional stutters. The screen resolution is twice as much and I'm sure no mobile GPU is currently capable of "beasting" that yet. Genshin is on top of thatjust one out of billions of downloadable games.
I didn't think it was running the native res but upscaled to it
Performance doesn't convince. I see a few stutters with split screen too which my Samsung tab S7 with a much inferior CPU doesn't do.. I wonder if it's just poorly optimised
Feels like it needs optimisation yes for that and gaming.
This tab is lunching date India plzz reply my comments..🙃
When are you doing the Xiaomi 14 review?
Normal 14? Xiaomi didn't send me one and is ghosting me at the moment. However I bought the 14 Ultra both global and Chinese model whichever arrives first I will review and do some camera comparisons of.
@@Techtablets ah awesome!! Will you be comparing it to the oppo find X7 ultra?
Probably not since it's not global that Oppo it doesn't get views being China only. No point all that work to limit my views including the X7 Ultra. Sad but true.
How is stylus pen latency? Is it roughly the same as samsung tab s9?
Sorry can't say since I don't have it and haven't tested it.

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Watching this on the xiaomi pad 6 pro the new pad 6s pro is a nice upgrade but I'm stick with my pad 6 pro don't feel like I need to upgrade

@@Techtablets The snapdragon 8 plus gen 1 is so underrated
Why do they always remove the 3.5 mm audio jack and sd card slot?
All about $$$$ MicroSD slot is to make you buy the model with more storage. No 3.5mm is to make you buy BT headphones.
@@Techtablets guess they all caught on to how Apple does things with their devices
It's a well known fact that Genshin sides with Apple so, it'd not run at full speed at even the fastest of snapdragon chips because they shamelessly do their best to ignore the android market. I still don't know why so many youtubers take that bug ridden game as their benchmark for gaming.🤔

If it was an oled or amoled screen, you could say goodbye to your eyes and brain before you are 55
Why? They now have high pen and blue light filtering etc.
@@Techtablets doesn’t work. It will still ruin your brain on the long run. I have sold all my oled/amoled devices, and my mental/physical health and ability to focus has significantly improved. You can try it for 20 days, and if you see the benefits, please make a video on it.
I'll try using IPS again, but everything I have is OLED now. Phone, monitor and laptop. I think you must be very sensitive to the PWM flicker they cause by the sounds of it. It's rear but most don't suffer from it like you sound to. Glad moving away from AMOLED/OLED has helped you.
Just to confirm, is the display laminated or not?
100% laminated
