    • I thought it was head diving, but maybe it was a bad angle. Or no angle. 😅

  • Does the video go dark for anyone else around 5:04? I get audio, just not video. Turn the video kicks back in for the women's matches.

  • krpalek is the kind of a fighter who can sneak through a tournament no matter how he wins and has also judge support. tushishvili on the other side wins with a bang and loses with a bang. hopefully tushishivili will have his perfect day in paris and gets the olympic gold medal wich he deservs so much.

  • Krpalek changes his grip to hold the sleeve. In addition, Tushishvili's back fully hits the mat whereas Krapalek rolls over him. Can't score it any other way...

    • I missed the grip change. I guess he gets it then…

  • Is Krpalek the best ever at timing olympic form?

  • I thought only thing of discussion with Krpalek vs Tushishvili was whether it was a counter or stop and then direct Yoko Guruma for Tushishvili, which would decide whether he could get the score, I don't see Krpalek having much to do with it (especially now that they're so adamant to go with a clear technique for a score),

  • Not sure if you knew this but, cuban children are hand picked to go into a sports academy like a boarding school at a very young age. This might account for the longevity you alluded to.

    • Teddy Riner went to a famous sports boarding school too. It happens all over the world.
