I long for days gone by 😭 The world is a mess
When has it not?
@@gingercat777I think what Andy means is we’ve had problems and things weren’t perfect in the past, but look around, the world is a Mess.
@@MCW1955Example please...... white privilege doesn't count 😅
The world is not a mess but quite a few of its people are.....

Mind blowing AMAZING BIKE 111 years old and cranked right up.....Thanks Matt 👍 Old Shoe🇺🇸
What an amazing piece of art.
It’s just absolutely mind boggling that men had the imagination ,vision, ingenuity, and skill to invent and bring to fruition these wonderful machines.
My father had a 1914 Harley, but he never did really tell me when he bought it or how long he kept it, but I think it was about 1915 and he probable had to sell it when he went into the Army for World War I. I am 79 years old and he was 45 years old when I was born. I love watching your videos, Thanks for the memories.
Picked up a bike from barry a couple months ago. Great guy, picked a couple parts for a 85 shovel police bike also. Only made about 250 shovels in 1985
nice bit of history cool
Maggie Valley is on my bucket list for places to visit.
As Robin Williams from his movie called 'Jack" would say "HECKA COOL"! Sweet sound, no other motor cycle manufacture could duplicate, that Rumble a Harley makes!
Sounds like a hay baler. Beautiful.
Been to Wheels thru Time. Loved the walking tour. I have been riding bikes since 1957 and in 1975 bought at auction a Paterson PD bike. Twin Cylinder 45 CU IN bike. Tired old bike but fun. In 1980 bought a Softail and all new bikes since 11 all together. Now near 82 I gave up 2 wheels because of my safety and others. Miss riding terribly.
It’s cool that he simultaneously signs the show for the hearing impaired
OMG I love old stuff. I'm going to make to your museum.
Went last year one of the best days of my life
I would LOVE to have that to Ride around Town every day
Sweet ! I'd love to work there , and If I were a little younger .
That is amazingly awesomely beautiful! Thanks for showing it!
I love the history of these machines!!
The rear valve isn't opening and closing...
Awesome just awesome! Love what you are doing, God bless you all.
Thats awesome Matt!
Pretty cool bike buddy. Keep the good stuff coming.
Awesome Mat 👌 😊❤
How awesome!!
Love the content
Love It...
I'm going to the 120 th in Milwaukee 🇺🇸💪
If you ever look on Google earth and see a perfectly round farm pond, that's the kind of track that the kids built for those. A funnel. They didn't slide them around corners like they do today. Maybe an old railroad turntable. Not everyone raced on a board-track.
Ever lit the carbide lamps? Lol. Thanx !
Awesome
I will never own a Silent Greyfellow 1912, so the best I can do is build one out of a Briggs Flathead!
Maybe I'm crazy but pedal start seems better than kick start. Pedal start you really spin the engìne -- almost like an electric starter!
Pedal start doesn’t work as well with larger displacement and higher compression. A compression release would allow you to get it spinning, but it would be hard to get enough momentum to keep it spinning once it has compression.
Thanks for watching! It’s a great way to start the early bikes, but not without its shortcomings. Pedal start requires you to dismount the machine, set it up on the rear stand, climb back aboard, start, hope off, rock off the rear stand, get back on, then ride. It’s tedious to say the least. The kicker arm is also much more industrial than pedal crank assembly.
White front tire and black back tire - Is that from that era?
Didn't look like the pushrod was moving on the rear cylinder.?? Probably the angle.
I go by the exit all the time but looks remote and i'm driving a 73' long truck. Nobody has ever answered if theres room to get there
Nice beard and hair cut. I want to be just like you !
Working only on one cylinder?
It's definitely not silent.
Cool bike but incorrect title to the video
Need more zoom in on the bike, I don't come here to see the crowd haha
Talk about a barn bike . . .
I wish I could go back through time to 1945
Did not harley davidson steel the spec designs from Indian when indian went under due to the army essiantially buying Indian Motorcycles out?
My dad told me about this bike when I was a kid… ever since then I’ve always thought that 60s panhead drag bike is the sexiest thing ever made
👍👍👍🛵🛵🛵🏍️🏍️🏍️
