On this week’s 10, we’re looking at the superstars who can’t find a club this summer. Some, like Lukaku and Lingard, only have themselves to blame, pursuing bigger moves and paycheques, but others have suffered with injury, like Eden Hazard and Hakim Ziyech. There’s also David de Gea, left behind by modern goalkeeping; Sadio Mane, who is already unwanted at Bayern; and a handful of others priced out of moves, like Joao Felix and Harry Maguire.

Honourable mentions: Julian Draxler, Bakayoko, Yerry Mina, Davison Sanchez, Andre Ayew
Yes. But Sanchez is already going to Russia
11 mil for sanchez
Man draxler was underrated in his prime for PSG and Germany
@@core_russell3869 I feel the peak Draxler was the one who played with De Bruyne and Lord Bedtner at Wolfsburg..even in his Schalke days he was a beast with likes of Max Meyer,Leroy Sané,Sidney Sam..Its only that PSG is such chaos club with ever changing coaches
@@thabanakabo4370 hadn't de bruyne already moved from wolsburg? I seem to remember kdb and schurrle were a quality double act and as soon as they left the club nose dived. Then draxler came in to fill the void and Max Arnold broke through with a bunch of long range goals
Its funny because the premier league has the most star power and coveted players but it doesnt matter how talented u are ur attitude matters 2
It makes sense that most of the premier league players who are not good enough are stuck because PL clubs pay ridiculously high salaries, and hence no one wants these players.
Very very profound.. attitude of many of these players are just self hyped
as a united fan i can see why nobody wants lukaku and maguire
That; and when the players are on huge wages it’s pretty easy to ride the bench when nobody can offer anything close to what they earn in England
True. I understand why dele struggling rn
The fact that many of these players were once at Manchester United show's how bad our business has been.
You could add Eric Bailly and Alex Telles to the list. Rasmus Hojlund has stated the toughest defender he has faced is Chris Smalling. Cheers Ole!
Lukaku, Hazard, Joao Felix, Ziyech - Chelsea is the kiss of death
Ziyech has himself to blame for his failed medical
Hazard left Chelsea as a legend he was brilliant at chelsea, his struggles in real Madrid has nothing to do with chelsea, joao Felix has just half season at Chelsea and already struggling at Atletico Madrid
Why does this comment have the ' Translate to English ' underneath it 😂 N when clicked it actually does change a few words around
@@chikumbusophiri2342 didn’t Ziyech have a move to PSG lined up in January but Chelsea screwed up and sent the wrong documents?
hazard was an absolute beast at chelsea his career died after joining madrid
Absolutely damning of Manchester United's transfer policy over the past decade that 5 of the 10 in the list are either current or former United players. Manchester United's tendency to offer silly wages seriously reduces the number of clubs that are willing and can afford to sign these players, while the players themselves place massive limitations on themselves by being unwilling to lower their wage demands to a level where clubs would be interested in them.
Chelsea has entered the chat
Can’t count lukaku he’s played for inter, Chelsea and inter since us. De Gea again because he was player of the year 4 years in a row for us and we needed him which is why we offered the wages we did. We had 12 years of service. Plus he’s a free agent now so he could ask for less. Sanchez was awful. Probs our worst signing post fergie. But again played for inter and Marseille after us. 4 years ago he left if you count the loan season. Lingard definitely. Why we didn’t sell him to West Ham I’ll never know. Could of made 25kg lion on someone everyone knew wouldn’t play but instead let him go for free. Maguire is on 189k a week which is a lot but in terms of bringing him in for a world record fee when city wanted him as well made sense we had to up his wages to get him ahead of city. WH have offered 30mill which was rejected I think he’ll go for somewhere between 35-40mill before the end of the window.
Several of these players belong (or belonged) to Man United. That tells you A LOT about their incompetency in how to manage a club, specially on the sporting side.
These guys should start their own club! I’m sure they’d be alright
what a good idea!
“We’ll start our own Football club! With Blackjack! And Hookers!”
De Gea's situation is truly special. I'm not a professional but the fact he has not improved with his feet in all these years is shocking. Some things are innate. Practising kicking and ball control is not. It just feels this is partly of his own doing
de gea is good u have no clue what ur talking about

That crazy contract with Atletico priced him out of the market before his career started. It never made any sense.
His agent needs sacking
he is a moron with an awful attitude
He can not be at a big club. He can not play with pressure. Not even the Atletico pressure where they don't expect to win everything like Real,Barcelona or Bayern. Simeone had a good relationship even with limited players that gave evwrything on the pitch , but also with elite players like Suarez, Griezman or Oblak. He said he just can't work with Felix.

Romelu Lukaku seriously ruined his career because we all thought that he’s returning to Inter Milan on a permanent deal this summer but the player behind the scenes agreed to join a direct rival Juventus on personal terms and that has frustrated Inter Milan and as we speak they’re not interested in signing him anymore, Chelsea the club he currently plays for who signed him for 97 million don’t want him right now. The only way Juventus signs Romelu Lukaku is if they offload Dusan Vlahovic this summer if that happens so the only realistic option for him is to join the Saudi Pro League and even that he doesn’t want to do that. He was frustrated in the fact that he didn’t start the champions league final for Inter Milan and behind the scenes was keen on a Juventus move he wants to stay in Europe but his options right now is very limited after all of this.
Lukaku as only himself to blame. The mere fact Juventus fans don't want him at Juventus speaks volumes how much he's gain so many critics ever since his infamous interview in 2021. No doubt his goal ratio is good where ever he goes albeit his loan spell at Inter wasn't great and singlehandedly cost them the Champions League title but no fans wants Lukaku. Lukaku is the living embodiment of how to piss off the majority of football fans.
That's doubtful no. Inter couldn't afford him, and made a massive brawl when he moved on talking to other clubs, wanting to avoid being on the bench in Chelsea. Does anyone seriously doubt he'ld sign for Inter? Chelsea pushing him to sign in Saoudi Arabia, one of many to say no to that. All those millionaire footballers taking extra millions in the Saouds, please. Some more respect for Lukaku please.
Imagine having a team with all this players 🔥
Eden Hazard has experienced a drastic fall from grace and it’s one of the saddest ones we’ve ever seen as footballing fans because he for real at Chelsea was literally one of the best attackers in the world and he was lighting up the premier league every single week and after struggling for fitness and form at Real Madrid he’s been without a club for weeks. It’s a big decline for him and not many European clubs want to sign him and he wants to finish his career in Europe but the big obstacle is the wages he was earning at Real Madrid how will any club be willing to afford way less than half of 500k a week and while he wants to continue playing he doesn’t have a lot of options. That move to Real Madrid has made Eden Hazard lose a lot of desire and energy as a player and given the fact that he’s showing no signs of finding a new club I think the best option for him is to retire from football aged just 32.
Dont show up overweight to your dream job I guess.
@@neilkanthganguly149that shows a lack of professionalism and self awareness and this has caused former teammates to criticize him because they mentioned how Eden Hazard was an outstanding player but not a good trainer and they observed that he relied purely on talent rather than hard work and when he was younger got away with that at Chelsea but after he got older and made the move to Real Madrid this caught up with him and it shouldn’t be a surprise that he arrived overweight not just on any club but at Real Madrid. The fact that he made no impact there whatsoever baffles me because any player who goes to Real Madrid should be able to push themselves to the next level but unfortunately lacked the work ethic and attitude to do that because he was just so talented and never put in the work hence why ex teammates have come out and said that even during his best years Eden Hazard was one of the worst trainers at Chelsea and his talent alone was never gonna be sustainable in the long run.
He's a fat boy waste with 3/4 good seasons
His decline is brutal however that's what you get for not looking after your talent. Talent can only take you to the top however having commitment and the grit keeps the best staying at the top for years. Unfortunately Hazard failed to work hard for years at Chelsea and once he joined Madrid it shows with him arriving overweight and his body constantly failing for years of poor conditioning.
Hazard was the laziest player according to Mourinho I was actually shocked cause Jose's incorporates "NEVER DIE " attitude in his player That Legendary Chelsea and Inter team Foundation for 3peat REAL He turn around that MAN UTD And considering HAZARD was best dribbler to play under Jose and not working hard!!!! And missing!
Lukaku is his own worst enemy.
Lingard found his place at West Ham and I found it quite stupid that he refused their offer to stay permanently but opted to move back to Manchester united where he has always flopped
Lingard wanted to leave but Ole did not sanction it saying he has plans for him. He got sacked mid season
He has not always flopped. He played for England whilst at Manchester
I really wanna Ziyech and De Gea play as heroes in a mid Europe club, and for me Lingard is still the "strangest" one. I really felt bad when Lingard's downfall happened at United, but I was happy when he found his time again at West Ham, but what bothering me until now is that he chooses to stay at United, even though West Ham asked him twice to join the club. Still wondering what would happen if he chose to move to West Ham :(((
Hakim Ziyech is currently stuck at Chelsea and it’ll be harder for them to offload him now compared to maybe 6-12 months ago. He’ll continue warming the bench and might be stuck in the stands as well if he doesn’t get a move in search of more playing time because whoever his manager has been at Chelsea they haven’t fancied him and this has affected his performance and his confidence not seeing the field enough. Who’s gonna sign him he’s had 2 transfer deals that have fallen through in the last 6 months. On January transfer deadline day Hakim Ziyech was literally 30 minutes away from joining PSG on loan and the player agreed personal terms the reason the move fell through was Chelsea sent them the wrong paperwork and information to PSG 3 times so that meant that the move was off and this is a similar reason with why David de Gea didn’t end up at Real Madrid in 2015. In June Hakim Ziyech was on the verge of joining Al Nassr on a permanent transfer and once again gave them the green light on this move but then it was called off because in his medical he had knee problems and the move never happened and it was clear that Al Nassr didn’t want to sign him. He’s in a bit of a limbo because Chelsea don’t want him he doesn’t want to be there as well but what club realistically will sign him and get him off the Chelsea bench.
Ziyech is one talented but unlucky player. Hasn't been great at Chelsea and having two failed transfers out of Chelsea which is not his making. He's stuck at Chelsea with no future at the club. Unfortunate.
As a Ajax fan , this really hurts to see. Would have loved to still have him and at least see him on the pitch. Now his carreer is basicly dead
Most of these are more about player wages than performance, or atleast an imbalance between the two
What you’ll get from Lord Maguire is he’ll pass to his team mates, the opposition and even touch line and score goals for the first two. He can score for the opposition with his head, shoulder, right foot. Even drag his own team mates away to let the opposition score. Absolutely top drawer player. He’ll even sit in the bench for a club if they pay him at least £200k PW because Southgate will continue to pick him to start for England
After a couple of mixed seasons with Atletico Madrid where he had great moments but then didn’t do much and was benched I seriously thought that last season was the season where Joao Felix was finally gonna take that next step in being a superstar. He has taken 2 steps back at Atletico Madrid because his relationship with Diego Simeone reached another low where he was out of the side a lot for the first half of the season and wasn’t really impactful even when given a chance. His loan spell at Chelsea he was average and didn’t show any improvement there as well and Mauricio Pochettino was happy in letting him return to Atletico Madrid where even there he isn’t wanted the club wants to sell him and the player himself wants a move this summer. His loan spell at Chelsea and his inconsistent performances at Atletico Madrid has done little to suggest that he has done enough to earn another big move. The likes of Manchester United PSG Newcastle United Aston Villa were linked with him but interest in him has cooled off in recent days. Last week Joao Felix said that his dream is to play for Barcelona and his club are willing to put a loan with an option to buy him on a permanent basis. The obstacle in any club that’s willing to sign him is he has 4 years remaining on his Atletico Madrid contract and he’s literally one of the highest paid players in football earning such a huge salary and if a move doesn’t materialize for him Joao Felix is stuck at Atletico Madrid and they need some money from his sale and has to find a way to get him out sooner or later and even that could be difficult so he’s in a career crossroads and hopefully he finds a new club.
Joao felix is the architect of his own problems, he was advised to go to either arsenal or Manchester United in January but opted for Chelsea because of more money,
@@jacobalexander4167 it wasn't money you think Joao was going to get game time at Arsenal and Man UTD it was a smart move to opt for Chelsea as if he want to those teams his work-rate would be snuffed out quickly but a dysfunctional team like Chelsea was the spark but again WORK-RATE for him was his undoing all he had to do was prove himself but he didn't show that in a blue's jersey he is done as far as becoming a top player in the world and he is responsible for it

Pepe was even my Top 1 wishlist for Liverpool back when he was scoring for fun in France, yaiks
It still amazes me how Felix essentially threw a tantrum to go to Barcelona and it worked
I really am a believer in Joao Felix I think if he is put in the right team he can be class

Yes, They can put together all the players that nobody wants :) with isco
Quite a number are previously or currently linked with United and Chelsea
David de Gea should either return to La Liga or just take an offer from the Saudi Pro League. He won’t be without a club for very long as if he stays in Europe he’ll probably accept a big pay cut but could those clubs still afford his 150k a week salary that’s an obstacle and if he joins the Saudi Pro League he would be getting paid 100 million a year which is way more than what Manchester United were paying for him.
As a major De Gea fan, his keeping style is obsolete in elite level football. No question about his shot stopping ability but with the ball he's trash and very meek in his box while the best commands their box and competent with the ball. I'll be always grateful for saving Manchester United from falling further into the abyss but it's the right time to move him on since he doesn't fit the system Ten Hag wants to play. He's a Manchester United legend.
One correction, De Gea does not have 375K weekly wage. He is in fact unemployed making his wages 0, which should make negotiations simple for the prospective employers.
I don't think it is that nobody wants these players. It is more likely that nobody wants to pay the price tag they come with. Market value is not what you want to sell for, but what someone is willing to pay. Between transfer fees (for those under contract), signing bonuses, agent fees, wage and bonus expectations, most of them would cost any would-be buyer far more than they are now worth. Lukaku may still be worth a fair bit, but his attitude is a serious problem. And Ziyech (fitness) might struggle right now, but the rest would be welcome additions at a lot of lower budget clubs, if the price was right, and the players would accept a wage and bonus package that reflects their current ability, rather than what someone once thought they might be worth.
Getting Harry Maguire out of Manchester United is easier said than done and this could be another Phil Jones situation. Remember they have Phil Jones a contract extension in 2019 for 4 years and he was getting paid around 150k a week and they wanted him out but couldn’t offload him due to his wages and injury woes and spent the end of his tenure there injured and not playing and now he left on a free. Harry Maguire might be in a similar situation as well because Manchester United paid around 90 million to sign him 4 years ago and he was on big wages earning around 200k a week and has been a massive disappointment as he underperformed big time making a series of highlight reels with his mistakes and poor performances, he has now been reduced to a sporadic role in the team and as we speak last week Erik ten Hag finally stripped him of the captaincy and could see himself sold this summer. That won’t happen as he wants to stay and is too reluctant to leave other clubs aren’t paying his massive wages and they need some money so they have to sell him right now but what could be a realistic option for Harry Maguire at Manchester United is they terminate his contract completely so that they finally get him off their books for good.
No thanks to Ed Woodard for paying and giving Maguire that horrible contract and Ole for making him captain until Ten Hag had to strip him albeit one year too late. Manchester United will be lucky to get a decent fee on Maguire but even that Maguire will have to take a pay cut. It's Phil Jones all over again.
100% agree. This means that the scouting and footballer management side of the team is run by sub 80 IQ people that spend money with no repercussion since it's not theirs to spend
@@lwandomadikizela2213realistically , Maguire is not even a 8 mil player,let alone an 80 mil

Traore should try Rugby League. That's what he's built for.
Choosing to sign for Nottingham Forest instead of going back to The London stadium to join West Ham United on a permanent move was the biggest mistake of Lingard's career if not his life. He had everything going for him at West Ham but he turned them down. After the amazing loan spell I fail to understand his thinking.
Easy to forget just how good hazard was at Chelsea and Sanchez at Arsenal
Hazard recently rejected inter Miami, so i wouldn’t say he’s unwanted

Big games are just a problem for Lukaku. Its a problem only he can fix. Its not about playing in the right position or who the coach is. Just work on your weaknesses and push ur form to the next level. S/O Inzaghi's Inter. We believe
No Alfredo Morelos? According to the Scottish press Rangers were knocking back offers of £30m for him from clubs such as Barcelona and Porto. Nobody seems to have questioned why he left on a free back in May, yet still has no club.
But De Gea had Maguire playing in front of him.
I would take Hazard at Fulham but he will think that move is below him, sadly
Alfredo Morelos who left Rangers. Another great shout
Alexis Sanchez bounced back from his Manchester United stint .
Nicolas Pepe to Arsenal has to be one of the worst transfers of all time and we know that transfer didn’t work out but it seems like no one has really talked much about how anonymous he was there. They literally paid around 80 million euros for him in the summer of 2019 and really struggled to make the grade at Arsenal as he quickly found himself phased out of the side the emergence of Bukayo Saka hasn’t really helped as Pepe was supposed to be one of the focal points in that attack but now Saka has done what he hasn’t done and is currently one of the best wingers in the world while Nicolas Pepe had to spend a season back in Ligue 1 on loan and it seems like Arsenal don’t want him back as he has no role in Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal project right now and he must have his contract terminated and he finding another club will be even more difficult now.
Pepe's work-rate was appalling, that's why Arteta has no interest in keeping him. He scored some goals in his last season at Arsenal in 2021-22 but was poor with the ball and is, at best, a rotation option. Arteta's Arsenal are a hard-working team - I'd still take a 34 year-old Alexis over Pepe any day of the week as a rotation option.

That’s the problem with these players with high wages and they don’t deserve it. Now nobody wants them
Maguire NEEDS a seria A transfer he would work so well there but not in prem XD
Adama Traore not too long ago was linked with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City and a lot of the top clubs in the world when he was lighting up the premier league in the 2019/20 season with his electric pace and dribbling and it looked like he finally arrived. Since then for Wolves his career has stalled big time and his return to Barcelona on loan didn’t quite work out and at Wolves despite his quickness and dribbling ability strength he has zero end product in his game he doesn’t make an impact in the final third and as we speak is finding it difficult to find a new club after his departure from Wolves last month.
He chose the wrong sport. Should be playing rugby instead.
If only Adama Traore improved his end product then no question he would be a top player. Too bad he spent his last 3 seasons in a Wolves squad still, key word still struggling to score and he didn't help himself by his lack of end product despite his impressive 19/20 campaign. Now he's a free agent but why would any club sign a player let alone a winger that offers nothing but speed and strength in goals.
Maybe he should become a cm then he has less pressure to score and his main job will be bringing the ball up the field
Unfortunately, whilst he's genetically blessed in one area he's not intelligent enough for top level football. I think that if he can be humble he'll do well in a top championship team though.
Added together that’s not a bad team
Chelsea are close to agreeing terms with Ajax for Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus
Are you sure that's happening?😅
Felix could’ve come aboard last year, but decided he wanted a “big club” went to Chelsea and finished behind us. Bet he wishes he had come to learn under Emery now.

These players would all find a club if they just accepted that wages can go down as well as up. Some dumb team (usually Chelsea or Man U) get caught up in the hype and pay them way too much for a couple of seasons and they think it's their right to earn that for the rest of their careers.
Harry Maguire he would definitely be the right fit for r team at the dog and duck
The one about João Félix is kinda wrong. Benfica does want him, but doesn't wanna pay up. 😅
