The players could have shown more respect to our beloved Corps by staying off the field till they were done.
Agreed. I love that they didn’t even bat an eye though. They could’ve been the only people on the planet for all they cared! Brilliant!
Well they both had jobs to do and did them. Some professional courtesy wouldn’t have held up the game much though.

There should have been no one on that field except those amazing Marines! Show some respect, people!
If either of these two football teams had a fraction of the intellgence, coordination and discipline that those Marines do maybe they'd earn a title shot. I feel inspired by the grace and discipline of these soldiers. I can't remember the last time a football team inspired me.

TheRandomGamer yea exactly. Your practice kicks can wait. It’s very disappointing and disrespectful.
Yo, O'BEN: I have a series of questions for you and, I expect HONEST answers to them ALL!!!! 1.) Have you EVER stood a watch, night, wether here or, overseas with a firearm?? 2.) Have you EVER placed your life in the hands of a group of guys and, gals whom you never met before?? AND, have them entrust theirs with you??? 3.) Have you EVER tasted the SHEER insanity of combat; not knowing whether you're going to live or, not??? There are others along the same vein. But, we don't need to continue any further. Being a Marine myself, I've always held my head high with pride every time the SDT performed with such precision and dedication. It was very sad to see the lack of respect nor appreciation from those high paid NFL players without as much as a courtesy of standing still to offer an applaud. Shows the true caliber of the military and a total lack of character of the NFL.
2111 here. Same! I love that SDT though. Man they are good.
Marines don't need steroids to be strong-----unlike the pea brained, disrespectful football players. Marines don't play-----they get the job done!
It would have been cool to see the players take the initiative to stay of the field until the Marines completed the drill.
I 100% agree on that. The players didn't show them any respect. That's terrible for sure.
Typical!
I did find it odd that the NFL players would be on the field while the Marines were marching. One would think the coach would have told them to stay off the field.
If the Players don't Respect the Flag, why would you expect them to respect the Marines.

Little did you know that Marine was never heard from again.
That's what a Marine does. He helps his brother out.
That was amazing!! Why on earth those football players couldn't stay off the field for 5 more minutes, I have no idea. But still the Marines put on a most professional show! The discipline and dedication is evident.
Because they are the colts and they are the worst team lmao
When I read the captions about the players returning, I was upset and agreed w/ the comments; but, upon actual inspection of the video, it provided a nice visual contrast of motion that, of all things, seemed to be visually pleasing in a sense.
Because they are getting paid and the NFL likes to stay on schedule 😊
Because they have to keep to a schedule. Why is everyone asking the same dumb question about this? Notice both teams came out and on the field at the same time? That's no accident. It was a televised game. It's not like they got in the way of the marines or anything. Some of y'all just wanna be offended for the sake of being offended.
The NFL players will never know the discipline and dedication that it takes to get to this level, which BTW is far more admirable than chasing a ball around.
They are jealous of the marines and it shows.
Hey, football players at the professional level have incredible dedication to the sport. its not chasing a ball around, its precision and ruthless drill coming together. you could never hope to match them without years and years of training and dedication. these players have dedicated their live to the sport. They were disrespectful but so are you.
Yet, football players get payed millions to run around a ball, while soldier don’t even reach 100k for risking their life for us. I’m just waiting for God to come back, because this world led by men isn’t right.

@Glen M Danielsen, I feel what you’re saying, but as a former Silent Drill Platoon member from 83-86, it didn’t bother us. Our concentration was so focused on the Drill, we hardly notice. When I was in, there were no cell phones, so everyone had cameras that flashes. At night during the LongLine portion of the Drill, everyone would take pictures when our rifles were in the air blinding us. We would catch them simply from the training. So we’d set off somewhere with children and quite often a funeral would pass. The children would stand still, fall silent and avert their gaze. They didn’t have to be prompted. @@SethingtonIII cool story. Now tell us what he said about the Rangers that saved his life.
They are without a doubt great at parade drill, this on its own tells you little about combat effectiveness, I suspect the average seal/ranger/SF type more or less is on the same level as the general military population when it comes to parade drill. These Marines drill this full time and it shows.
@@flynnpaul26 I suspect they DGAF about D&C/formation stuff.
I just saw a rifle inspector break ranks twice to redon a Marines cover yet still more professional than the player that decides to warm up before a drill demonstration is completed. Absolutely shameful to see a man with the freedom to be paid millions to play a game disrespecting the men and women that won him that freedom.
Marines are not perfect, but extremely professional! It's just sad that Those They protect can't be more deserving of The Militaries Sacrifice for the Freedom, and Safety, that these disrespectful ingrates now enjoy! And show these Warriors the Respect they have earned and are due! I Thank You All for Your Service and Sacrifice! From one Old DOGFace Soldier Veteran, to the Current Citizen Warriors of Today! Much Respect! May God keep You safe in the palm of His hand while You Serve, And Double Your Blessings!
THIS VETERAN HAS THIS TO SAY: BREAD AND CIRCUSES..! THERE'S NO FLAG LARGE ENOUGH TO COVER THE SHAME OF KILLING INNOCENT PEOPLE..! MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN ARMS HAVE KILLED INNOCENT PEOPLE AND HAVE DIED IN VAIN FIGHTING ILLEGAL WARS BASED ON LIES...
I love ALL of my brother and sister Marines. I am a proud Marine who survived Vietnam. Platoon 3101 Parris Island, 1966. I will always be so very proud of the United States Marine Corps! The feeling of being the only Marine in a sea of people at Logan Airport back in those days of the draft really lifted my spirit. Lots of Navy, Army and Airforce personal but only a couple Marines. And little ole me from Aroostook County was one of them.
Respect from Indonesia..." once Marine's forever marine's"
Once Marines*,* forever Marines* (plural, no apostrophe).
Once a* marine, always a* marine.
I was in the Corps for eight years and go to see the Drill team, they are fantastic, if they ever come to a place near you go see them.
Thank you for your service, we're deeply appreciative of it.
I totally agree Dog68. Nothing like seeing them in person. Semper Fi (1969-1982)
Agree 2000%
@@HemetOCMACK Agreed. Explains why I too joined up while in High school & see it up close first hand. Semper Fi
Seeing these young brave men who protect our freedom that we take advantage of brings tears to my being may god bless each and everyone of them
Ive watched them from my time in the corps and without a doubt they are ALWAYS flawless. You will never see anyone better or more dedicated.
Dude had his hat half way one and still kept full discipline and the teams sending players on feild was disrespectful as hell
My father a WWII Okinawa Marine would be very proud of these fine Marines, may God bless each & every one of them.
ES INCREIBLE QUÉ SINCRONIZACIÓN EXELENTE DE LOS MARINES,FELICITACIONES A TODOS LOS SOLDADOS
Actually got choked up watching this! Truly inspiring! Sempre Fi!
God I feel awful seeing that lads head piece falling off. However it does go to show how professional these guys really are. L&R from across the pond lads! 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸
😂😂😂 look at 3:02 it was wanting to fall off
Will he get punished for that later on?

The fact that the USMC Dress Uniform looks so good makes their performance 100x better...
Unbelievable. Couldn't wait for the majestic platoon to finish. This is who we really are. Much respect to the Marines and all who served.
