The problem in the more liberal west is how the private sector controls almost everything we see and hear including the things John Oliver says. • Ironic how Trump supporters, called Nazis and deplorables, then goes on to call someone a Nazi Socialist? Doing that is literally EXACTLY what Clinton and Clinton supporters did, at this point the difference comes down to who they support. Cosmo, I'll grant you, Hillary was and is shit. However, John Oliver has not seemed to have any form of Nazi-like support. Socialism is a different story, but that's as much an insult as me declaring you a Capitalist. Quit using ideological standpoints on services for a nation as an insult. No matter which side you're on, you cannot deny Trump wants a good relationship with a quintessential neoworld dictator. That, to me, is more terrifying than a Socialist.

In my university course, American Foreign Policy, we had a whole class where we just discussed how fucking useless the US has been (and I'm blaming the US because they're the only country that has enough military power to counter Russia. Us tiny European countries can't do it). It's all about sanctions. Sanctions to deter, sanctions to punish etc. It's useless, and now we're literally just sitting back watching Russia take over Ukraine, with more sanctions. My heart breaks for the Ukrainians, and I fear for the life of their President, who is literally begging everyone to help. It's funny how the US brags about its military power but only uses it to invade other states when it suits them, and not for humanitarian interventions.

Ukraine has more uranium under it than anywhere else in Europe. I think Putin's nukes are inert and he needs fresh uranium. If he gets it, he will bully the world with nukes as he conquers country after country until he is Emperor of the World. Why do I think his nukes are inert? Because part of his Demand was an accusation that if Ukraine were to join NATO then nukes would be put there by some other country, he didn't say who, lets just call it, Them. Anyway, Alaska is a few short miles from Russia and I'm pretty damn sure the US, a NATO country, has nukes there which can circle the world five times and still have enough gas to get to Moscow. So he's either counting on the whole world forgetting that he already borders a NATO country or he is actually afraid because he doesn't have working nukes anymore. I think the world will one day regret not stopping him When First He Came For Ukrainians.

China is US's biggest problem and no matter how much chest thumping it does, US is unable to counter China especially due to its closeness with Russia. In trying to reset ties with Russia, Trump is showing flexibilty with regards to changing times that is much needed for a dynamic foreign policy. And he isnt lying about US being not so innocent. Ask any third-world country..they would say Chinese are bad now but US has been exploiting them for years now.. And US's " Democracy Championship" is a sham which everyone knows. Ask Saudi Arabia. And John Oliver despite being brilliant fails to acknowledge these points. And Trump supporters use the same argument I present to accuse liberal media of being rigid and intolerant in their own sense. And this liberal intolerance is what is adding to make things worse!

They say, 'What's 2+2?' And I tell them look, we know what 2+2 is. We've had almost eight years of the worst kind of math you can imagine. Oh my god, I can't believe it. Addition and subtraction of the 1s the 2s and the 3s. Its terrible. Its just terrible. Look, if you want to know what 2+2 is, do you want to know what 2+2 is? I'll tell you. First of all the number 2, by the way I love the number 2. It's probably my favorite number, no it is my favorite number. You know what, it's probably more like the number two but with a lot of zeros behind it. A lot. If I'm being honest, I mean, if I'm being honest. I like a lot of zeros. Except for Marco Rubio, now he's a zero that I don't like. Though, I probably shouldn't say that. He's a nice guy but he's like, '10101000101', on and on, like that. He's like a computer! You know what I mean? He's like a computer. I don't know. I mean, you know. So, we have all these numbers and we can add them and subtract them and add them. TIMES them even. Did you know that? We can times them OR divide them, they don't tell you that, and I'll tell you, no one is better at the order of operations than me. You wouldn't believe it. That I can tell you. So, we're gonna be the best on 2+2, believe me. OK? Alright. Thank you." Reporter 1: "But what actually is 2+2?" Trump: "Siddown. No, siddown. I've already answered your question. Haven't I already answered your question. This is what we get from news reporters, folks. Give me a nice question. Yes - you." Reporter 2: "Is your name Donald Trump?" They literally have zero disagreements with any of Russia's aggressive expansionist geo-political policies. There is nothing that separates Putinbots and Trump fans other than one group are paid shills while the others are mostly useful idiots.

Clinton was in a conspiracy to make her dnc chair. had more to do with Benghazi. and wanted to go to war with Russia. trump has not taken money from big corporations, like Hillary. nor has he given/taken money from hassad(a pro sharia group), like Hillary. he's the least corrupt politician out there.

Я могу совершенно спокойно переключиться на русский и использовать грамматику, которую Google Translate никогда не смог бы передать при переводе с английского. So there. Ironically I quite like Putin, despite agreeing that he is a terrible human being. Just that in my view the vast majority of successful leaders were complete and utter sociopaths. For the record, my liking includes such horrible figures as Stalin, Napoleon and Caligula, but Hitler can go fuck himself.

    @Nectarisa@Nectarisa7 жыл бұрын
    • The reason John Oliver isn't put down for insulting him is that he doesn't threaten the yolk of power. He'll disrupt some of their plans, but not their hold. The United states government spares no time offing those who truly threaten to upend their power. This is why labor movements are attacked so viciously.
