Sweet memories from teenage years. We had Queen's Innuendo, Dire Straits' On every street, GNR's Use your illusion, Metallica's Black album, Nirvana's Nevermind and Chris Rea's God's great banana skin, all those great albums released in a period of 30 months or so.. The early 90s.. Great times. Makes me realize the ugliness of today's music.
Dear Chris Rea if you ever read this I just want to say I have loved you for probably 40 years now...your music soothed me during tough times and happy times in my 20s.I have an amazing memory of playing in the surf with my 2 young ones listening to On the Beach wearing my Walkman and 2 jets flew across in front of us... 4 of my favourite things...my kids,being on a beach,you singing that track AND jets🤯😁🥰!!A beautiful moment in time I will never forget ❣️ I was lucky enough to see you live before you were taken ill on your last tour...I was so happy to see you just the other week here on KZhead doing an interview since then and looking well 🙂🥰 Stay well we love & miss you ✨️💖🙏
