Once someone comes to grips with the fact that they are never really alone the light comes on. What I mean is being alone doesn't mean you are lonely because you can be in a room full of people and still feel alone. I actually love being alone it is when I am more creative, at peace and realize that God is real, I know that may sound corny to some people but it is true. God and I the light is on so happy.

This song connects a lot with me. Express my feelings and fears. Sometimes people don't understand you and are really mean. I'm sure (Tones) wrote this about her rising song and how she struggles because bad people kept criticizing her and even threatened her with death. Toni had experienced strange emotions. She said in an interview that she didn't even have the confidence to go to the store and she doesn't accept herself like she used to. People really need to be nice. I believe Toni doesn't deserve hate and she should be respected. Thanks tones for this beautiful tune THAT I LOVE. 💜❤💜❤

Thank you. This song is so good and I didn't realise I needed a song like this tonight...I've been pretty good recently but a few things happened in the last few weeks, including my sister being accepted by the army. Over the years I got so good at hiding how I feel from, not just others, but myself that it hadn't hit me till now. I know she's only going for training but she'll be gone for ten weeks to start with and whilst I have 2 friends they're not the kind I can go out and do things with. Even though I'm so damn proud of her, she's my little sister...I'd be lying if I said I'm not already dreading the loneliness of not seeing and talking to her everyday.

I feel like they all ignore her and are disinterested until she starts to get popular online. Then suddenly everyone claps and adores her as though they cared all along now that it's the trendy thing to do. Beautiful song. Love that she took her hat off for this video. Um, well, many had never heard her before "Dance Monkey" went viral. The second I heard that song, I loved her, and immediately listened to everything else I could find. Don't bash people for not having heard her before she got popular. The world is a huge place. And some people are older and practically live under a rock. Not everyone is aware of all the great music on the other side of the world from them (which is the case with me). It's not like we all knew of her the entire time but didn't care, and only suddenly pretend to like her just because she's popular. That's circular "logic". Much more likely that most hadn't heard of her, then "Dance Monkey" went viral, and most people who hear her love her immediately. In my case, that's exactly how it went. Don't you want her to get recognition for her great work? I find your distaste for her popularity odd, considering how much you praise her.

From 1:50 -2:14 we can hear Tones using a more natural voice than the one she uses most, and I think she sounds great w/out the child-like voice which she uses to such good effect, this does give her another dimension in my book. This is another example of Tones and I 's songwriting talents for quality songs, there would be many artists that wish they were as prolific.

There are so many ways to get your frustrations out.... please don't hold it in!!!! Start a journal, write poetry or songs, even if no one sees it, you are getting it out and releasing it! Take a long ride either alone or with a friend or close family member, take a walk, even if it's around your neighborhood, go to a park and walk there.....fresh air does wonders for the mind. Being lonely can feel like a wound in the heart that won’t heal, and hurts more by being around people who looks so happy together and feeling so alone in the world.
OMG! I am 49 today. Just when I thought that I had heard just about from everything from the 50's on until today, and losing hope in today's music this young lady comes and SAVES MY SOUL! I can finally go, knowing that there is hope for the future of good music! What an amazing talent and voice! Brava!!!
Once someone comes to grips with the fact that they are never really alone the light comes on. What I mean is being alone doesn't mean you are lonely because you can be in a room full of people and still feel alone. I actually love being alone it is when I am more creative, at peace and realize that God is real, I know that may sound corny to some people but it is true. God and I the light is on so happy.
Take care out there. The world is a harsh place. Just remember one thing: You're not alone! We are all in this together!

This song connects a lot with me. Express my feelings and fears. Sometimes people don't understand you and are really mean. I'm sure (Tones) wrote this about her rising song and how she struggles because bad people kept criticizing her and even threatened her with death. Toni had experienced strange emotions. She said in an interview that she didn't even have the confidence to go to the store and she doesn't accept herself like she used to. People really need to be nice. I believe Toni doesn't deserve hate and she should be respected. Thanks tones for this beautiful tune THAT I LOVE. 💜❤💜❤

This song is so good and I didn't realise I needed a song like this tonight...I've been pretty good recently but a few things happened in the last few weeks, including my sister being accepted by the army. Over the years I got so good at hiding how I feel from, not just others, but myself that it hadn't hit me till now. I know she's only going for training but she'll be gone for ten weeks to start with and whilst I have 2 friends they're not the kind I can go out and do things with. Even though I'm so damn proud of her, she's my little sister...I'd be lying if I said I'm not already dreading the loneliness of not seeing and talking to her everyday.

I feel like they all ignore her and are disinterested until she starts to get popular online. Then suddenly everyone claps and adores her as though they cared all along now that it's the trendy thing to do. Beautiful song. Love that she took her hat off for this video. That must have been incredibly hard and she is very brave for removing what is obviously a security blanket for her.
Um, well, many had never heard her before "Dance Monkey" went viral. The second I heard that song, I loved her, and immediately listened to everything else I could find. Don't bash people for not having heard her before she got popular. The world is a huge place. And some people are older and practically live under a rock. Not everyone is aware of all the great music on the other side of the world from them (which is the case with me). It's not like we all knew of her the entire time but didn't care, and only suddenly pretend to like her just because she's popular. That's circular "logic". Much more likely that most hadn't heard of her, then "Dance Monkey" went viral, and most people who hear her love her immediately. In my case, that's exactly how it went. Don't you want her to get recognition for her great work? I find your distaste for her popularity odd, considering how much you praise her.

From 1:50 -2:14 we can hear Tones using a more natural voice than the one she uses most, and I think she sounds great w/out the child-like voice which she uses to such good effect, this does give her another dimension in my book. This is another example of Tones and I 's songwriting talents for quality songs, there would be many artists that wish they were as prolific.
I'm curious about the child-like voice she uses, I've never heard it in other singers before. Is it simply a characteristic of her voice or a deliberate technique. If the latter, to what effect?

There are so many ways to get your frustrations out.... please don't hold it in!!!! Start a journal, write poetry or songs, even if no one sees it, you are getting it out and releasing it! Take a long ride either alone or with a friend or close family member, take a walk, even if it's around your neighborhood, go to a park and walk there.....fresh air does wonders for the mind.
