    • @@edwardseman1920.......... yes......there is an element of saying that the guy may just be making guitars because he likes making guitars. He may never sell them. My guesse is, it would be very rare to get a buyer since i expect these guitars are extremely epensive (that's subjective ofcourse) However ....this craftsmanship must be extremely rare since i see the extreme high quality of far-eastern factory electric gutars at almost zero cost. It would be difficult to know who buys these acoustics except people with lots of spare cash to get rid of. For example, there are several very advanced pedals that can mimic high end acoustic guitars at just $140 pedal....... and these pedals can be used on any far-eastern $69 new strat ...........it's a great alternative. I respect his astonishing craftsmanship, but this scenario above has been exotic for decades now. You would need to exhaustively investigate your marketplace before ever considering building them guitars as a busines s.

    • Kazuya Yoichiro Without knowing what type of finish it has it would be hard for me to give you a remedy. That said most small cracks in guitar finishes can be repaired with a quality super glue. I would clean the area first with Naptha, then tape off the area. Sand the edges of the crack with 400 grit to feather the edges. Then apply the super glue and quickly wipe away the excess carefully with a napkin. Let it dry around 5 min then repeat this 4 or 5 times until you build up a good layer of super glue. Then block sand the area with 400 grit, 600grit, 1000grit and 1500grit. Then buff it with a good buffing compound. Hope this helps, salutations from Texas.

    • tehose are go-bar decks. Its actually an old way to put pressure on the braces when they are glued-essentially a clamp.

      @pegleggreg3627@pegleggreg36275 жыл бұрын
    • They are go-bars the put pressure on the pieces and act as a clamp. If you notice he is using the sanding disc under to clamp the same radius on the sanding dish into the top. It is a very efficient way of clamping a lot of pieces at once.

      @Fazman81@Fazman815 жыл бұрын
    • they are fiber glass rods used to apply pressure for the glue up process. Similar to a piece of wood, if you bend it fiber glass will want to return to its initial shape. This, coupled with the geometry of bendy things means that it also applies downwards pressure. You can play with it using all kinds of materials, fiber glass is a common one because of the strength. A cheap way is to use fiber glass road markers, you can find them for $2 or $3 dollars at hardware stores in north america at least.

    @chikmagnet106@chikmagnet1063 жыл бұрын
    • Their purpose it seems is to act like clamps, but I do not know what they are called. I assume it's the best way to add even pressure because you can fit more of them compared to other clamps and the variable pressure they can have.
