He came to Arsenal for winning trophies and has done exactly that. He was solid in our FA Cup matches and Community shield. With Koscielny, Cech and Rambo leaving we were massively missing big characters in dressing room. Luiz has been a proper leader on and off the pitch since he arrived. He inspires young players, took pay cut so that we could sign Mari and Cedric, encouraged our squad for pay cut during this pandemic. Massive respect ❤️🙏

He might not be an exceptional defender in football history to remember, but he will always be remembered for his kindness / Genuineness and his undeniable talent , a leader.... His best game for Arsenal till date was that heroic performance agaisnt Man City in the FA Cup semifinal.
I remember watching Brazil get battered by Germany in the WC. Had my laughs, enjoyed the football and all that. But then I watched Luiz's interview and even as an Arsenal fan I found a lot of respect for him in that moment. Too often we find ourselves separated by club, country, colour. All of that, but he really laid his humanity out for all to see at that moment - and even now it brings me to tears to see him that way. Nothing but respect for the man.
He's had his iffy moments but he has been outstanding in the big games so fair play to him

Always been a class footballer and even more classy guy. Only new generation fans hate on him and people who don't understand football, his ability technically is second to none. Aerially he is dominant, and his reading of the game is honestly underrated yes he can make the odd mistake but he presses very well at the right moments in general, his composure is amazing, his leadership is clear.. I love the guy honestly

He has been Dodgy at times but he has been solid as well, the guy came here to win trophies, and has done exactly that and Tierney also said that he was the one showing leadership throughout the FA Cup. I think he will be better next season and learn from his mistakes. Brings bags of experience and can just command the defense. Respected him at Chelsea now I Love the guy!

Pundits have alot to say when hating on him despite all hes achieved. There's a reason why Luiz is still playing at this level. There's a reason why shortly after being captain for Brazil & in defense in that embarrassing 7-1 loss to Getmany that he then in that same summer became the World's most expensive defender. Luiz is a talented player & great human being with a big heart that never gives up. There's a reason so many of the young Arsenal players like Saka, Willock, Tierney all look up to him despite all his costly mistakes and why the manager puts so much trust in him. He's a leader and a warrior.
