I had, for the first time, a great setup in PZ after picking the game up two days ago. Found my first gun, was stocked with food and meds, holed up in the Medical Centre, curtains galore, working on my skills in private. Then I went to bed and burned to death because I forgot I left a ham in the oven. I died not because of the apocalypse, but because of my own domestic incompetence. I adore this game.

@@Deppie_____ Oh GOD! that would be terrifing, you're watching television when sudden you smell smoke and an actively burning zombie jumps through your window, onto the couch and charges for you.
I haven't messed with fire in zomboid for a long time, but I remember around when they added it flaming zombies for sure set fire to buildings and grass which spread to buildings. Badass, thanks for the tip. Big old fat curtains get old.
Honey, a zombie appocalypse is beginning, what do we do!? Dad: quick! turn on Food Network and ill grab the upstairs curtains and a couple books!!!
honestly, this is why I love the Road. In the movie, whatever the apocolypse actually is is kept vague, but in a flashback we see viggo mortensens character spring to action after watching it all unfold on the news. Whats the first thing he does to prepare for apocolupse? He fills the bathtub and as many buckets as he can with water, while there is still running water. What I mean is, doing something with the resources we have while we sstill have them. Using the internet while its still up and running is probably what we will all be doing.
Ngl my reaction wouldn't be much different. It'd be like this 1. Turn on computer and look up news to see if it's legit 2. Waste an hour contemplating how/why its happening 3. Msg/call my friends and family 4. Remember i absolutely suck at restocking groceries and panic for about 20 mins 5. Bunker down in my basement until the next day then plan out a supply run IF nobody stole my car
I knew this was gonna be a banger from my home page. Keep it up man! Loved the video!
If you build a hallway from the house to another house, do they merge and become one house?
Yes
Realistically, doing this will always get you killed whenever the helicopter event happens. Unless you can somehow destroy the stairs and just live somewhere zombies are unable to reach you, the swarm is gonna be too much to handle. And that'd mean spawning in a house with a sledgehammer, so good luck. :D
didnt even think about that
Actually it's even more possible if you spawn with a car in the garage.
