  • I'm not a fan of Iga , but in this match I will show her what she has to change = exactly the same problem as Rybakina has : waiting ALL THE TIME for her coach to tell her what to do !! And the second problem ( which annoys me the most ) : delaying the serve trying to "hide" the direction instead of focusing on the placement and power to hit an ace !

    • I like you make it seem like her fans are denying that she can be bit, as if there is a retired player who was unbeaten. People are just amazed by how easy this loss looked and worse from a player who won't make it to the final. Iga always learn from these type of performances, that's what makes her one of the best number 1's in history of the women's game.

    • But over that last few years when she has been beaten the excuses come up every time like: It’s a late night match, the court was too fast, she was not 100% , she was tired, she was injured etc. The facts remain that she does not have the strongest serve or most consistent forehand and is often rattled when facing someone with a strong serves and consistently hard ground strokes

    • I mean do you blame them though, the stats are there for everyone to see, she's been the most consistent WTA player for what 3/4 years now. It like comments like these come every time she looses a match, which is a rare occasion.

She comes out full of energy, thinks she is unbeatable, and has gotten the business from a few players who are not intimidated.Truth is, Iga has weaknesses in her game. It just takes a player with smart tactics and some solid skills to beat her. Alexandrova can improve , and limit her errors and be a force. I have loved her game since she beat Muguraza about 3 or 4 years ago. It was a beat down in that match and no one even heard Alexandrova. She is a promsing talent, I hope she can elevate her game. • The guy at the end of the video doesn't even know who Alexandrova is playing next. He said Garcia. No it's Pegula! Also, he said Roddick thinks Swiatek's forehand is the best on tour. How can Roddick say that? Many reasons why it's not the best on tour. You just have to look at how she dealt with the pace of Alexandrova to see that it's a crazy, frantic forehand that can't deal with pace. That's why Swiatek has trouble playing the big hitters. • I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Iga comes up small against any opponent who plays aggressively against her. There is no way that the #1 ranked player in the WTA should be getting her clock cleaned in the round of 16. Pathetic. Unfortunately, like most of these younger players, she depends way too much on her team. Constantly looking over at them during the match for approval and guidance. Too much fist pumping and not enough heart pumping.

    • Iga has a lot of talent, but from what I’ve seen, she has trouble with the harder hitting players. Also, she has difficulty on the faster courts. As a tennis fan, It’s discouraging to watch a player with so much talent lose to unranked opponents ( those ranked out of the top 32)

  • This is a predetermined match. Clearly Iga wasn't playing her best. She didn't want the title nor the money. She is a multimillionaire already with a bunch sponsorship & investments to her name. She wants to get off the tournament at least at this match so she can go out doing something more enjoying. Very obvious🤣
