10년이 넘었군요... 성음악기 공장 설계를 했던 사람입니다. 회장님과 대표님의 고집스런 원칙과 일에는 철두철미이시지만 정도 많고 온화한 성품을 지니신 분들입니다. 선물로 주신 크래프터 기타는 아직도 소리가 좋답니다.

Thanks, I just bought my first Crafter and I truely love it, even the details… next to my collection containing Fender, Ibanez and Gibson, the Crafter is a true mark of quality, and maybe even the best price/qualityin my collection after watching this movie.
I have been playing guitar 🎸 for over 40 years, I own several guitars, guitar builders have always fascinated me in all the work that goes into building a guitar, this video makes me appreciate my guitars even more watching these talented people build these beautiful guitars, thanks to everyone involved in making this video, excellent video.
Some of the processes employed in the production of these guitars are better by default than a boutique builder has at their disposal.

제가 기타 전문점 과 전문 리페어샵을 같이 합니다. 성음 크래프터가 그 역사 와 인기 만큼 엄청나게 팔려 나갔는데도 수리의뢰가 적습니다. 그만큼 기타 제작의 기본에 충실하게 아주 잘만들었단거죠 또한 제가 성음 크래프터 대리점도 같이 하는데... 동가격에서 성음 크래프터의 마감과 인레이 디자인을 따라갈 기타는 없습니다. ( 사운드 역시 좋치만.. 사운드는 어느정도 개인의 취향도 있기에 성음이 좋다 콜트가 좋다 라고 하기는 그래서 객관적으로만 말씀드립니다.) 6년간 성음 크래프터의 대리점을 해본 결과... 성음이란 회사는 장인의 정신이 있습니다 . 단지 매출만을 올리려고 하는 회사가 아닌 기본에 아주 충실한 장인 회사

집이 근처라 항상 공장 옆을 운전하며 지나치는데(공장이 도로옆에 있음) 저렇게 수고하시는줄 몰랐습니다 웬지모를 감동이 느껴지네요 소중한 기타 소중한 마음으로 연주 해야겠다는 생각이 들었습니다 성음 기타 모두 힘내시고 화이팅하세요
기타 한대를 만들기 위해 수고하시고 노력하시는 모습에 정말 감동 받았습니다... 예쁘게 만들어진 기타를 연주할줄만 알았지 이렇게 보니 큰 수고와 노고를 거쳐서 내품에 왔다는 생각이 드네요... 더 열심히 가르치고 온국민이 통기타를 즐기며 행복할 수 있도록 최선을 다해야 겠다고 다짐해 봅니다...

Korea has some of the most skilled luthiers, producing some of the finest instruments in the world. I personally have sought out Korean made guitars from certain factories because they simply are one of the best options, and I have a few that absolutely are hands down better than my American made guitars.

I have a narrow body cutaway Vantage from the 80s . It was well made and still sounds great !
@@MrCoffeekelly they are as much luthiers as modern day Martin. Yea its not all handmade, but there's no time for that, and at these production levels machines are far better than human hands at certain things. I have 2 guitars i built myself.

With all those machines the guitar is already made at least 50% by robots lol
What? Each station is a CNC Mechanized Laser-cut Operation. They are far from HandCrafting these. The finish, fretting and Wood selection Guys are genius, most everyone Else is just a Glue, Press, Repeat process.

I love Crafter guitars. High quality, not too expensive. Plays great, good sound and features. This factory has a lot of machinery. Many jigs. So, the product is very consistent. Try one out, you will be pleased.
12년전에 크래프터 공장에가서 새들 교체 때문에 한번 방문 한적있는데 회장님의 큰아든님이 직접 테이블위에서 새들 떨어뜨리면서 새들이 왠만한 수입산 본 새들 보다 크래프터의 특허 새들이 어느 새들에 비해 뒤지지않고 적당한 밸런스와 명량함 을 내어준다고 자신감있게 말씀해주시던 그눈빛이 아직도 기억나네요. ^^ 새들 3사 장착후 비교했는데 그때당시 크래프터가 제일 좋았습니다
After building for the last 20 years and working on guitars for 40 years THAT is the way guitars should be made. Very nice and a lot and skilled hand work.

This makes me appreciate my work more. We've got 4 of us building guitars at my work and it can be tough work, but I love being able to put love into each guitar and not just pump them out like they mean nothing.
As a carpenter and a musician I appreciate your work. Reading these other "work of art" comments killed me inside a little bit though.

I've been playing guitar for about 50 years. I've owned several very high end acoustics, all gone now. I'm just waiting for delivery of a Canadian designed guitar which has been built in China. All of the information that I've gathered, and all of the excellent reviews, have made me confident that I'll be more than satisfied with the finished product. That confidence has been reinforced after having watched this excellent video. Hopefully my guitar has been built with the same attention to detail, and precision, as I have seen here. A pleasure to witness indeed. Thank you for providing this most excellent video........David

If this is what it takes to craft a guitar, i will love my 20 year old guitar all the more. It was awesome to watch slow but sure steps by the crafters.

Wonderful video! Always wanted to know the processes involved and to see the stages of craftspersonship is enlightening. These look like very high-end guitars and the brandname says the rest! Beautifully crafted!
No, I own one. It's a cheap mass produced item and doesn't sound good. The case is worth more than the guitar. This video proves that there's little to no artistry or hand craftsmanship involved.
High end? LOL! No high end guitar is mass produced in less than a day using a bunch of machines doing the majority of the work! It takes a good luthier sometimes WEEKS to make one of these by hand. This is why they cost so much!

There was an old music shop in my town where I grew up that sold Crafter guitars. I had always dismissed them since I wasn’t familiar with the name brand. Until I heard their sound. They really take pride in making these guitars with very good materials. Nice guitars for sure.

The new trend seems to be manufacturing guitars in Indonesia but I miss the days of Korean imports - Indonesia makes a pretty nice guitar but the Korean ones were definitely more attention to detail and much better wiring
Agreed. I know its a cost cutting measure, but we were paying more for Korean made because they were becoming higher skilled, so I know ibanez went to Indonesia to save money. Those luthiers have a long way to go before they are as good, and when they are prices will go up, and they'll move production again.
The Japanese are the real craftsmen

I had a crafter for years and swapped it for a drum kit for my studio...after watching this I wish I'd kept it.. it was a great electro accoustic...looking for a new jazz guitar now..crafter have made some lovely ones...didn't see that much hand work in the gibson factory...

Just bought a second hand Crafter DGXE-ROSE Dragon MAHO-PLUS 42e anniversaire 2 days ago and I was really amazed on how it sounds, I have several great acoustic guitars like, Martin, Guild and Taylor but Crafter is something special as well, the craftsmanship is amazing, a good quality guitar, a bit pricey but fair and reasonable I guess - so happy to have one!
