Sorry, it is not a two-way street when there is a difference in age, they know better because they have more experience, and when they were young the elderly people did the same to them... and guess what, you are going to do the same when you get older, it's a perspective thing, you can see your mistakes on the younger people, what people should do is try to advise and not criticise but sometimes the young ones don't see the difference :(

@@OvidioBeoulve how does that disprove what the original comment was talking about? by default, we try to respect everyone, in hopes that we are respected in return. however, even the experienced aren't always right. they still have more to learn and the ways some of them go about their exertion is unjustifiable. this short was responding to the snappy elders/relatives who step out of line. these are boundaries, and it is important none of us overstep regardless of age. if someone older than us can't understand that, respect is lost. it's a mutual thing. there's no reason we should respect someone who disrespects us, just because they're older than us.

@@OvidioBeoulve how does that disprove what the original comment was talking about? by default, we try to respect everyone, in hopes that we are respected in return. however, even the experienced aren't always right. they still have more to learn and the ways some of them go about their exertion is unjustifiable. this short was responding to the snappy elders/relatives who step out of line. these are boundaries, and it is important none of us overstep regardless of age. if someone older than us can't understand that, respect is lost. it's a mutual thing. there's no reason we should respect someone who disrespects us, just because they're older than us.
