I use really good skincare and everything but I still have acne. It’s not always about that. It can be hormones, diet, sleep or stress. So for some people it’s impossible to get rid of, at least at the moment.

I hate when people don’t realize how good they have it. I can’t stare at myself in the mirror for too long before breaking out into tears. I avoid taking pictures with people because of my acne. It’s easy for people without acne to say “your skin isn’t even that bad” when I wake up every morning to see if my acne has miraculously cleared up, only to find it has gotten worse and more painful. I'm sorry that you have to deal with that and I hope that you find your perfect skincare routine and have more confidence in yourself. But calling her out for saying that 5 acne is bad is not right either , I can relate with her as I don't have acne prone skin and when I get a pimple or two, it's bad because for me the pimple in itself isn't that much of a problem but the mark it would leave which would take months to fade (and it always leaves a mark) so this video might be helpful for people who can relate . Everyone has different problems, the amount of acne which might be stressful for you might be a lot less for someone else but they might be going through the same amount of stress. So dismissing other's emotions just because you feel that you have it a lot worse isn't right either.

Acne is a long term skin condition, it doesn’t go away overnight, and it’s often genetic. I don’t say this to be mean, it’s just that she has beautiful skin and I wish she appreciated it more. I have had acne for 6 years now. It’s a lot better than it used to be, even though I know my skin looks worse than other people my age. So seeing stuff like this, were someone with almost flawless skin is saying she has acne feels like such a slap in the face. I know she doesn’t mean to be, but it’s insensitive and objectively false. It would be like if someone they were suffering from anxiety, when they weren’t and were just feeling scared after watching a horror movie. Or if a millionaire called themselves “broke” because they couldn’t afford a certain mansion. Inadvertently, she’s putting down other people who actually do struggle with acne. I clicked in this video hoping to get some sort of medical advice, and now I just feel ugly. Sorry if I sound mean or whiny, but this stuff genuinely makes me feel so bad about myself.

I hate when people don’t realize how good they have it. I can’t stare at myself in the mirror for too long before breaking out into tears. I avoid taking pictures with people because of my acne. It’s easy for people without acne to say “your skin isn’t even that bad” when I wake up every morning to see if my acne has miraculously cleared up, only to find it has gotten worse and more painful. I'm sorry that you have to deal with that and I hope that you find your perfect skincare routine and have more confidence in yourself. But calling her out for saying that 5 acne is bad is not right either , I can relate with her as I don't have acne prone skin and when I get a pimple or two, it's bad because for me the pimple in itself isn't that much of a problem but the mark it would leave which would take months to fade (and it always leaves a mark) so this video might be helpful for people who can relate . Everyone has different problems, the amount of acne which might be stressful for you might be a lot less for someone else but they might be going through the same amount of stress. So dismissing other's emotions just because you feel that you have it a lot worse isn't right either.

Acne is a long term skin condition, it doesn’t go away overnight, and it’s often genetic. I don’t say this to be mean, it’s just that she has beautiful skin and I wish she appreciated it more. I have had acne for 6 years now. It’s a lot better than it used to be, even though I know my skin looks worse than other people my age. So seeing stuff like this, were someone with almost flawless skin is saying she has acne feels like such a slap in the face. I know she doesn’t mean to be, but it’s insensitive and objectively false. It would be like if someone they were suffering from anxiety, when they weren’t and were just feeling scared after watching a horror movie. Or if a millionaire called themselves “broke” because they couldn’t afford a certain mansion. Inadvertently, she’s putting down other people who actually do struggle with acne. I clicked in this video hoping to get some sort of medical advice, and now I just feel ugly. Sorry if I sound mean or whiny, but this stuff genuinely makes me feel so bad about myself.

Always do proper checks on your skincare ingredients and make sure you’re not using fake versions of the skincare items.
