I must admit that I'm a bit biased because I love Maserati. Period. The Granturismo, the Quattroporte (5th gen with astonishing looks and a Ferrari 4.7 V8), the MC12, even the Ghibli is cute as a button but underpowered. Now the MC20 is a dream to me. No electric motors, RWD, an Italian design that puts sooooo many supercars to shame, a roar that makes sure to be heard and the almighty trident... Pure love!
I'm biased too because I hate Maserati, and this is hands reeeally down the most beautiful supercar in decades!
In certain angle, MC20 resembles the almighty Noble M600. Awesome lines!

I've never EVER been a maserati fan, I've always been a Shelby fan, and mclaren for supercars (765lt) BUT: IMO the MC20 is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CAR MADE IN THE LAST 10 YEARS! Do you agree?
considering the fact most supercars are mostly speed focused this is MC20 is a great take on a what a supercar really is... a fun toy for many can enjoy. not a super techy advanced car with just numbers... this car is a reminder of what a supercar really is meant to be, appreciate it maserati :) and i agree very much with chris' opinion.
I've seen a few of these on the street here in Vancouver and they look even better in person. Really glad some of the "lesser" legendary sports car makers like Maserati and Lotus are back with top tier cars.

I saw it in person and it looks GREAT! So much better than any video. Sat in it and it is set up perfectly with TONS of head room.
Too bad Alfa wasn't allowed to release it. Maybe it makes more sense as a Maserati.
This car is simply EPIC. The best looking vehicle on the market, drives like crazy. Chris approval also proves that car means the business.

top gear is dead with the trio going on other show its not the same animore look the grand tour you can see its top gear but way better !
@@gorgewashington1216 disagree - the Grand Tour was a boring attempt at motoring entertainment and failed abysmally. In fact prior to Grand Tour Top Gear had become awful aswell - less about the cars and driving and more about entertainment and the presenters 🥱😴😴🤤

they are cool. but three haunting words: italian build quality.
As a proud Maserati owner this one here is the last masterpiece Maserati will create for its final gasoline motor before the switch to full EV ^ what were witnessing is a piece of history this will be a big future classic
Someone who's accustomed to the wilder super/hypercars of today might think this car is bit plain but I really like it's simplicity and focus.
Loved it! Does anyone notice that these super cars are the same as art? In 100 years, they will only be able to see them in museums and say to themselves, "Wow, how lucky they were to drive so many different masterpieces on gasoline."
Except only a few people actually get to drive these things, while the rest of us our scraping by to own a fifteen year old Honda or are up to our eyeballs in automotive debt.

This car will still look gorgeous even 30 years from now, such a timeless design and so refreshing to see a sportscar that is not plastered with wings for once! Tbh i´m already kinda over all those tablesized swan-neck backwings.
I really hope Maserati go into gt3 racing with that model and produce some results with it so can build more hype around that car, which is seriously underrated in my opinion
The MC20 Cielo is my absolute favourite. I do like the Coupe, but I don't feel the temptation of owning one. The convertible Cielo version though, COUNT ME IN! WHAT A BEAUTY! 😍😍
Chris Harris, I must say, is the finest motoring journalist ever. I’m old school, a fan of Clarkson, Tiff Needell, Andrew Frankel, et. al. But I must say, every time a video is released by Chris via any of his associated channels, I am itching to watch what he has to say, and aside from the fact that he really knows his way around a car, he does give really very practical advice! A true journalist, a true car guy. Fair play, Chris.

My first knowledge of Maserati was 8yr old me discovering the Ghibli BiTurbo. While not a "supercar", it still sticks in my mind today.
Mine was the 3200 GT and after that the quattraporte. Stunning machines
My first Maserati experience was a demonstrator ride as a passenger,, with Danish racecar driver Jason Watt at the wheel, in a Maserati Shamal, on the highway near the city of Nærum, organised as a lottery win at an open house day at specialist cardealer Hersild & Heggov. Tremendous power from that generously installed V8, and classically styled leather interior.

I misjudged this car when it came out. It looks awesome and is very compact, very simple formula, and it works.
Looks super stylish I must say.
They had the MC12 in the 2004/2005, so that's much less than 50 years out of the game. And it was built (like the MC20) to go back to GT racing.
Literally thinking the same thing watching this.
Fair play to Chris, he has adapted so well to being a TV presenter. But he is and always will be an automotive journalist at heart and his best work will always be his own, driven by passion and away from BBC scripts and direction.
What a pity that I don't have the money to buy it, but definitely a great pure V6 supercar ! I love it

The MC12 was an absolutely gorgeous supercar, put some respeck on its name
People don’t realise that unlike other Italian manufacturers Maserati is good at reliability and always been unique and they have a well kept secret when it comes to exhaust sound.
In another segment; we all would love to see Chris drive and review the new Z06 Corvette.
Nettuno is a pretty fricking badass name for engine though. They made this glorious machine and named it after Roman god of the Sea. Damn.
The Nettuno injection system is the party piece. There is a pre-combustion chamber which allows to inject already ignited petrol and air mixture, into the mains combustion chambers. That's why this 3.0 liter v6 has more than 120 bhp than any other 3.0 liters twin-turbo!
I love the way oit looks, it has MC12 heritage and Chris approves the driving characteristics- I approve too:)

The MC20 is 90% the best at everything it does, and never drops the ball in any way. Where some supercars are the best at this or that, the Maserati is only "very good". Where other supercars fall short in one or many areas, the Maserati doesn't. Great car.

I havent been in love with a car this much since I first saw the Audi R8 in the first Iron Man movie. This car is just gorgeous. This car is like the Maserati version of the 458. Kinda like the enzo vs the MC12.

I've been following Chris Harris all over the internet for the better part of 10 years, and Top Gear is vastly improved with his presence, but I wish they weren't still shooting every episode like it's a History Channel dramatization from the mid-2000s The ramping and shakeycam is so aggressive it's almost boring

Saw a couple of these in traffic today and they both looked fantastic though the white one looked best to me, the other was blue.
The intake sound is great, but the exhaust needs just a bit more volume.
Everybody put afternarket on other supercars also its just has to be this way bc of rules now

A V6 can be a beast when you stack some turbos on it. I love my ecoboost F150. It pulls like a beast. The drivetrain will actually pull more than the truck will. I found that out the hard way.

I saw this car parked up at my local supermarket, I thought it was a Ferrari from the distance, as I got closer I was surprised by the badge, I don't really like the look of most supercars but this one looked really good in person.

Problem is, Chris doesn't even do most of the car reviews. We don't even get the motoring journalist to do the motoring bit. We get those other 2. So Top Gear is 98% unwatchable garbage

Saw one of these today on my way home from work (from Guildford to Basingstoke) on the M3 around junction 4, southbound. Sat behind it for a bit, then it pulled into the slow lane and I think peeled off into the Fleet services. Absolutely gorgeous. Was orange and when I went past it in the fast lane (it was in the slow lane by then) I stuck my thumb up to the driver. Beautiful car!
