I've NEVER seen a player do this to a teammate

Tonight's Ottawa Senators game had a very strange moment where Thomas Chabot, accidentally (we hope), hit his teammate with a hockey stick. I've never seen anything like this, totally weird situation. We'll cover this and the Ottawa Senators and Nashville Predators game on today's NHL video!

    • Official? Your league should have four backs especially when players are in their formative years. They need to learn respect and discipline early on or they become thugs on and off the ice so you’re doing society a favour. The kid was black; swear to God he was looking white when I was done with him 😆 I told that to the bosses and told them it was open and shut, he had his lesson. But the head coach insisted to have me come into the room and made him apologize to me in front of everyone after the game. I think he made the right move. It was a playoffs game, in these circumstances I barely saw the players outside the ice. It's like there's a bubble around the whole staff and no one gets close to the room 1-2hours before and after the game. To keep everyone focused. Still he broke the unwritten rule and made me walk in the middle of it for an apology, it was kinda sweet For the glasses: I looked like Bubble for a week with hockey tape holding them on my face, until the new pair paid by the organization arrived haha

When Ballard hit Vokoun with an errant stick on the head. Vokoun was carried off the ice on a stretcher and was treated at a nearby hospital for an ear laceration. The refs seemed to let something slide on one check but then call it on the next check. • It seems fairly simple to me. He was mad, slammed his stick, but either forgot or didn't realize someone was sitting next to him. Considering he almost got the trainer too, it's kind of proof he wasn't mad at Hamonic. Just fogged out for a moment there.
