Man of Medan was definitely fun, but it left more to be desired. The premise was interesting and characters were likeable, but it wasn't as scary or gruesome as I expected it to be. The hallucination twist also kinda ruined most of the replay value. It looks like the developers took this into consideration and are hoping to make this one a lot scarier and more brutal. Man of Medan was likely just a shaky start where they were just trying to find their footing. This one genuinely looks like it's going to be great and I'm excited for October!
Hope it isn't so frightening to the point it is not playable anymore.

@@ScareheadProductions yup, that's pretty much how I played Alien Isolation, I was scared to the point it was unbearable, I cant just make myself play it.

I’m super excited. This is reminding me of silent hill and the VVitch. I can’t wait, and I’ve heard the devs have listened to the criticisms they got for man of Medan! It’s always great when they actually improve upon past issues.

Jourdan Nance I don't think they are trying too. This is an anthology series, they are not full on stand alone games. They also had a bigger budget with Until Dawn as Sony was giving money for it to be a PlayStation exclusive.

Fridrihsons if I recall Sony apparently abandoned Until Dawn after release, giving it minimal marketing. Plus they have established an xbox audience with man of medan.

I loved Man of Medan. Why is everybody saying it was a flop haha I seriously loved that game.
Cause it was a bit buggy, the 1st hour or so was on the Milan boat, the scares weren't real when ppl realised it was just chemicals
It was predictable, characters were uninteresting and the whole thing was just way too short to bother.
Me too I played it like 5 times lol
This just-in I enjoyed Man of Medan but I felt like the intro was too long, especially in a game which is completed in a matter of hours. The characters were different but still not that interesting and yes the game had significant bugs. Overall tho it was still a nice experience and one that the devs will get better at delivering.

Will the curators cut soon come sometime after the release? I got the curators cut just from downloading it but I didn’t pre order it. Will it do the same with Little Hope?
When they show you the pre-order editions and stuff at the end it says that the curator's cut will be available for download 3 months for everyone after the game's release. :) They wrote it smaller than everything else so it's easy to miss the first time you watch ^^

I’m hyped, from what I’ve heard the devs have listened to criticism of man of Medan. I’m so glad that they’re improving upon those issues.
Hopefully this is better than the first entry, which was a little bit underwhelming compared to Until Dawn 🤞🏻

This one looks way more interesting, creepy, and brutal then MOM can’t wait till it comes out.
The only issue I had with Man of Medan was the fact it was so damn short. Me and friends did movie mode and I'm hoping this is WAY longer. Someone also mentioned the gas making people hallucinate in Man of Medan being an issue and I agree, it kills any replay value.
All games will be 4-5 hours, and little hope has proven it will be better, the 1st hour and half was on the Milan boat, but in this, the game starts off straight away, no hallucinations, real scares, better story and characters , 360 camera
I feel like Man of Medan is not getting the attention it deserves. I'm not saying I like it more than Until Dawn, but I am just saying that it deserves to be viewed a different way: Man of Medan was short because unlike Until Dawn, the player wouldn't mind starting from the beginning in Man of Medan. I still play Until Dawn to this day but I start on like Chapter 6 because I want to get into action. Also in Man of Medan, there are so many possible endings and resolutions, but in Until Dawn.. the lodge always burns up and it's only really the characters that matter. Until Dawn is by far way better when it comes to storyline, but when it comes to the possible endings, I feel like Man of Medan should take the win because of how different everyones stories can be. Please share your thoughts as I would love to talk about it some more.

I just wish they had pulled a major twist in Man of Medan like in Until Dawn. I got way too excited seeing the monster when the dude was trying to telegraph only to realize it was all hallucination and no other elements.
I hope it's better (and longer) than Man of Medan.
It will be better but all the games of anthology will be 4-5 I'm hoping this will be closer to 5 hours
well for 130 lei (25 dollars) in my country i dont mind if it will be 5 8 hours

A group of 20 somethings in a car going somewhere and the person who’s driving says “it’s just a detour” everyone else should scream “PULL OVER WE’LL UBER!!”
I liked this much more than Man of Medan. I figured out MoM well before the ending but this kept me guessing right to the end. Acting was great and overall this felt higher quality and more like Until Dawn.
I'm peeved that we aren't getting the June 2020 release date that was promised us, but if we are releasing a game based on the Salem and Andover Witch Trials, it might as well be released on Halloween, the night when European ghosts are said to revisit the earth again. The curator looks stoically epic during the final shots of the standard, collector's, and bundled w/ Man of Medan versions of Little Hope available for pre-order and purchase.
It was never promsied to be in June, only said summer and it was leaked for june but it wouldn't happen anyway for many reasons, but yes it's gonna be great for Halloween

I love how the blurb says "Play previously unavailable scenes with different playable characters". None of it is available right now, so how does that work?
It means that once you finish the story you can play through the game again but from different perspectives that you didnt have the first time, so basically new choices, scenes and collectables, etc.

Man of Medan was great, but it had some problems as a first instalment in a series. This right here looks like the DEVs and GMs listened to produce a epic game
It could have been better but the ending is so bad, it’s like they listened to the complaints of man of Medans story and did exactly that

Just bought this last night, I really hope it’s better than Man of Medan. Not that it was terrible, but the twist was a turn off to play again. And idk about everyone else, but my ending pissed me off. Thought everyone made it out and then they were shot down anyway...🤦♀️ I loved Until Dawn, though. Really excited to play Little Hope.
