i know some people expected a lot of agression from the animatronics but i love what they have done with them here. they have ghost of children inside them and the animatronics dont really hurt the night guard until the night guard tried to hurt them. that castle making scene also pays homage to the fact that they are kids on the inside and they don't wanna harm anybody. they are just playing.

Watching this trailer doesn’t feel the same anymore. I hate it when I get those post-event blues. This movie has been such a hype! These past 7 months of waiting for this movie to come out have been so much fun, but now after finally watching the movie, I feel so empty. I actually enjoyed this movie. Never seeing or knowing anything about the background behind Five nights actually made it a better experience. I didn’t need it to be true to the “video games or tv series,” (still don’t know what it is) but this movie didn’t need gore/violence/sexual content/activity and it still was a Great 10/10 movie! Had me hanging on the entire film! Hope theirs a part 2-5 series with same director/actors!

literally just left the theatres and h this brought out my inner child. I used to love the games and would beg my parents to take me to chuck e cheese since it was something that reminded me of fnaf. I know it wasn’t lore accurate but it was amazing nonetheless.

The fact that Blumhouse brought in Scott Cawthon to write the story and help with the screenplay is a MAJOR W. So many movies with lots of potential have been ruined by directors and writers who don't know anything about the source material. This doesn't seem to be one of those instances at all. Well, it was how i expected it to be... the best fucking shit ever. Basically i felt like a child again the entire time watching the movie. Had a nightmare about this movie I never saw and I only played the game once years ago. I played it in a public gaming lounge and screamed out loud, getting stares from everyone. I was so embarrassed, I couldn’t bring myself to touch the game again.
Finally!! One of the biggest dreams of FNAF fans, is here!! I don't care if it's going to be good or bad, we have a movie about the game. Thanks for that Scott and Blumhouse, it's amazing.

The first scene scared the crap outta me!!!! I was in an IMAX and everything vibrated and was loud as hell.
Just got home saw it at readings it was pure joy to see a movie that wasn't pushing the message . I never played the game but the movie was awesome well put together great acting and scary enough for me 9/ 10
It's amazing how far Scott and the franchise has come. In less than a decade, a movie was born from such a simple yet terrifying indie game, and you can really tell how much love went into this. They have come so far and deserve it all. I'm so happy that Scott even gave a little bit of credit to the youtubers that always played all the amazing games he made.

I’m so happy to see Cory in this. Thanks to FNAF his career became what is it now. He’s touched so many people and inspired millions and then some. It’s amazing to see the community giving Cory a well deserved place in the film. *UPDATE* A lot of people have been arguing about wether Cory really deserved the role. Some say it should be markiplier, which I totally understand, considering Cory isn’t the only one to stream FNAF and make the fan base what it is now, however, we must understand that this is a very subjective opinion that varies from person to person, so we shouldn’t bother finding the right answer, because there isn’t one. No matter who truly deserved it, the movie will still be a banger and I can’t wait to see it!!

I was a 10 year old kid when FNAF was first released and I loved it. The first time a horror game interested me as a young kid. I remember the times with my older brother and younger me watching youtubers playing the game on youtube and how my classmates/friends would talk about FNAF in elementary school 4th grade back then. I am now 19 years old and will definitely watch the upcoming movie itself. And honestly, I just find it "awesome" to know and see kids of today's generation getting into Five Nights at Freddy's, just as we older people did as kids back then. Edit: What the heck's going on in the comment section here? ..... Oh well, it's the internet anyways.

One of the first things I watched after I created my youtube account in 2015 was Markiplier’s FNAF series. 9 year old me was quickly obsessed, and 8 years later, it’s incredible to see how far the fanbase and franchise has gone. The first fandom I was truly apart of! My friends and I knew EVERYTHING about the lore…..
